(Stuck in between)
As Jack added the abortion drops the food. He went to place it on the dining table.
When Gabriella came out of her room, her mouth watered to see the food.
“Come and eat,” Jack smiled.
“It looks good,” Gabriella said and went to sit down, ready to eat.
She suddenly stared at the food suspiciously. “It looks good but how am I sure that you don’t want to poison me? It’s evident that you and your twin brother don’t have a good relationship, if not, he would have talked about you.”
“You’re right, we don’t have a good relationship. I h@të him with all my heart. He had everything while I was left in the dumps,”
Gabriella felt sorry for him as she heard his words.
“I’m sorry about that,” She apologized.
“Why are you sorry? It has nothing to do with you,” Jack muttered with a smile on his lips.
“I just feel that no one should be left off by their own family. My parents died in an accident and since then I have been on my own but I had the best moments with them. They were amazing but it hurts when you don’t have any good memory of your family”
Jack sighed.
“Well, I couldn’t turn into a wolf, so my parents h@tëd me. Mother h@tëd Jax and I because we were the products of a loveless marriage. She passed down her h@të to us”
“So…the day Jax shifted, he killed her. He ripped her apart,” Jack scoffed. “I didn’t see my wolf then, so father kicked me out and since he never loved that bîtch, he kept Jax with him,”
“I was the outcast and you’re right, it hurts,” Jack lowered his gaze as the terrible memories came back to his mind.
Gabriella felt really sad for both of them, their family was messed up.
“Do you need a hug?” Gabriella asked, softly.
Jack looked at her and found her to be so sweet. Why wouldn’t he keep her all to himself?
“You want to hug me,” Jack laughed.
“Why are you laughing, I’m just trying to be nice” Gabriella shot a glare at him.
“Okay, I want a hug. No one had really hugged me before,” Jack stood up.
“Are you telling the truth?” Gabriella asked in shock.
“I am,” Jack smiled at her.
Gabriella found his constant smile, really beautiful on his pink lips. She found herself comparing him to Jax and Jax could never smile.
He didn’t even care to look for her.
Gabriella stood and walked slowly to him.
Jack spread his arms waiting for her.
She smiled a bit and wrapped her hands around his stomach, resting her head on his chest.
“Thank you for being so nice to me and saving my life,” Gabriella whispered, feeling so sad about what Hunter did to her. “It feels a little good when someone treats me nicely,”
Jack stared down at her blonde hair and pecked her gently, before wrapping his big arms around her.
Gabriella didn’t feel uncomfortable, simply stayed in his arms.
“How did you find me?” She asked and looked up at him.
Jack beamed at her.
“I followed your scent, baby,”
A little blush showed on her cheeks when he called her baby. She didn’t understand the connection she felt with him but she was certain that it had to do with being mated.
“Wow, being a dog isn’t that bad,”
Jack simply laughed unlike Jax that would scold her.
“It isn’t bad at all,”
“I feel puking again,” She gagged and rushed to the toilet.
Jack stared at the food which he had put the abortion drops in and he got rid of them.
“Where is the food?” Gabriella pouted at him as she came out.
“It wasn’t good enough for a pretty baby like you, so I will make a nicer one,”
Gabriella blushed at his words.
“Okay,”

The doctors were checking the bodies of Isla and Hunter, along with the other doctors.
“There are animal marks on their bodies,” one of the doctors said. “But the victim isn’t here,”
“What animal would enter a six storey building. It makes no sense,” another doctor spoke.
“But the wounds were definitely inflicted by claws”
“The female’s body was torn apart…”
“Was it a lion? A tiger???”
“Or a wolf?” another one spoke.
“I have the footage,” One of the evil doctors came in with an iPad.
They all gathered around to watch the footage and they were shocked.
“A man with claws??” one of them gasped.
“It’s werewolf, so werewolves are real,” one of them gasped.
They looked at themselves in shock.
They stared at Jack and they found a Guinea pig for an experiment.
“We have to find him or the girl…it seems like the girl is important to the werewolf,” one of them said and the rest nodded.

Jack left Gabriella sleeping in his cabin; he walked into the woods, looking around.
He entered another cabin and walked to the kitchen.
He recalled how he lied to Gabriella and a smirk appeared on his lips. He wasn’t the one that was supposed to find her, it was actually Jax.
Jax was following her and Jack only tagged along.
With a smirk on Jack’s lips, he opened a big freezer, lo and behold, Jax was frozen inside.
Jack chuckled; “Hello, brother…”
