“You still haven’t guess who we are after” Lilo said to Mariano.
“It’s your wife. Your wife is the one we want ” Lilo added.
“Don’t you dare mess with her, you can come at me all you want but stay the Füçk away from my wife!” Mariano yelled at him, trying to pull free from the rope.
“Sorry dude but we already sent her a message, telling her to come alone and am sure that she will come, she’s your wife after all ” Lilo said, laughing cruelly.
“You must think you’ve got everything right but then you’ve missed a little detail. Camila won’t risk her life to save me, she h@tës me and am sure that she will be the first person to want me dead. So quit thinking she’s gonna come cause she’s not ” Mariano told them.
“We will just have to wait and see” Lilo replied before turning away.
“Don’t you dare come, Camila. Don’t you dare risk your life for mine ” Mariano said inwardly.

~ SAND CASTLE ~
“He’s been kidnap?” Asked Camila and Stephan nodded in reply.
“We got this note a while ago” Alexis said, giving her the note to read.
“It says here that they want me to come” Camila said after reading the note.
“Which is something we will never allow” Cesare let out gruffly, as he walk in.
“But it’s me they want, Mariano is just a bait. If I can be of help then I should help” Camila said to him.
“Not like this. The men who took Mariano are not just anyone, they have been our enemies for years. If you should go to them, they might hurt you” Cesare said.
“Cesare is right. It’s best you don’t go” Stephan added.
“One thing the boss can handle is a situation like this. He knows how to get himself out of trouble” Alexis chip in.
“But what if its different this time? What if he can’t get himself out of it?” Camila asked.
“We go rescue him” Cesare said.
“The letter says that if anyone of you apart from me should go then they will kill him” Camila reminded the trio who kept refusing her
“Camila you….”
“We are talking about my husband life right now. If there’s a way for me to save him then I will ” She said fiercely, cutting Cesare off.
“Fine then but you won’t be going empty handed. You need to take some weapon with you” Cesare said.
“I know the kind of weapon she can take” Stephan added while Alexis shook his head and said,
“I hope this works out”

~ ABANDON BUILDING ~
“Seems like your knight isn’t coming” Lilo said, starring at his watch.
“I already told you that she’s not going to come” Mariano said, wondering why he felt a little sad about her not coming to his rescue.
“Well, I stated in the letter that I will kill you if she doesn’t come. Seems like she has decided your fate for you” Lilo said as one of his men handed him a gun.
At that moment, his men who had been position outside, ran into building.
“There’s a car heading this way boss, she’s here” He said to Lilo who set the gun down.
“Let’s go welcome her” Lilo said as he walk out of the room with some men.
“What are you thinking Camila!” Mariano muttered while he waited for them to return.
“We all thought you weren’t going to come since you might be scared ” Lilo said as he walk into the room.
As soon as Camila saw Mariano,she got angry, why would they leave him shirtless and tied to a chair like he’s some kind of animal.
But she restrain herself and smile at Lilo.
“Scared of a threat you made on a piece of paper? If my husband is a Mafia lord then that makes me his Mafia lady. Being scared isn’t in our blood” Camila said bravely earning the respect of Lilo and his men but Mariano is the only one who notice her shaking hands which she hid in the folds of her dress.
“Am here now. Let him go” Camila said moving towards Mariano to untie him but Lilo stop her.
“Am afraid that will not be possible. It is true that we brought him here because of you but then we were given orders to kill him as soon as you arrive” Lilo said.
“But you said…”
“I didn’t say anything about keeping him alive, I only said that I won’t kill him until you arrive which I fulfilled, but now that you are here, he’s going to have to die” Lilo said, pulling out his gun once again.
He pointed it at Mariano and fired a shot.

~ SAND CASTLE ~
“Can’t believe that with everything going on, you still have the stomach for alcohol” Matteo said to Paolo as he walk into the wine cellar.
“What’s there for me to do? Cesare and the others are on standby and besides, the boss have got his woman to save him” Paolo replied, gulping down his whiskey.
“Let me guess, you are like this because of a girl. Did someone reject you or is it that you’ve been unable to make Cora yours?” Matteo asked mockingly.
“Well I happen to notice that she’s very close to Alexis. Did your brother steal her from you?” Matteo asked receiving an angry glare from him.
“No one steals from me. Most especially when it’s something that belongs to me, Alexis doesn’t have anything going on with Cora, am sure of it. He knows that I h@të it when he takes something that is mine” Paolo said fiercely.
“But why do I feel that Alexis have already stolen Cora from you” Matteo said, making jest of him.
“It’s funny right? Well, what do I expect from a loser” Paolo taunt in return earning Matteo’s anger.
“Say that again and I will ruin your face” Matteo threaten.
“Save your lousy threat for someone else. Perhaps you can save it for Enzo since he’s very close to Luna, there’s no day that I don’t see them with each other. Could Enzo have stolen her from you!” Paolo taunt him return.
He was at the door way when he turn back to Matteo.
“Have you seen Luna recently? She’s magnificent and if I didn’t have Cora in mind, I would have gone for her” Paolo added and left the wine cellar.
Matteo kept thinking about Luna and Enzo being close. After the breakup, he has hardly seen her which is why she got close to Enzo.
They’ve been friends all their life but they’ve never been that close since he made it clear to Luna that he didn’t like Enzo.
Paolo must have seen something to have made him talk that way and the earlier he knows what is going on, the better for him.
Matteo left the cellar and went in search of Luna.
After knocking thrice and almost giving up, Luna open the door on him.
The first thing he notice was that she had make up on and that it made her look so attractive and beautiful.
“You’ve change” Matteo said, gawking at her like he’s never seen her before.
“Why are you here?” Luna asked.
“I heard some strange rumour about you and Enzo and I….never mind, it can’t possibly be true. You just dump me a few days ago and…”
“I don’t know what you heard exactly but then, Enzo and I are dating ” Luna inform.
“You can’t be serious! We just broke up a few days ago!” He yelled.
“And so? Does it mean that I have to stay loyal to a cheating dog like you?” Luna said.
“A c…cheating dog?” Matteo stutter.
“Look, I need to be with others right now and so, I suggest you leave”
“I can’t leave, we have a lot of things to talk about” Matteo said quickly.
“Things that have nothing to do with me. All I want right now is that you stay away from me, I h@të seeing your face” She said and left him standing there.
“I can’t believe she’s dating Enzo… she’s my woman” Matteo murmured to himself, his fist tightening in anger.
That bastard won’t take her away, he won’t let it happen.

~ BACK AT THE ABANDON BUILDING ~
“Are you crazy! What if I had shoot you!” Lilo yelled at Camila who stood in front of Mariano, shielding him with her body.
“You would have to go through me before getting to him!” Camila yelled in return.
“It wouldn’t be bad if we killed them both at once” One of his men said and that got him being shot by Lilo.
” Take his corpse away and bury it” Lilo ordered and two men took the dead man away.
By now, Camila was getting scared and Mariano notice it.
“If I die, do you promise to keep her safe?” Mariano asked and that got Camila turning to him.
“I promise. Afterall we’ve been ordered not to touch a hair on her head” Lilo replied sweetly.
“Let’s get it done then” Mariano said, starring at Camila.
“Don’t you dare touch him! If you do I won’t forgive you” Camila yelled at Lilo and his men.
“Am afraid you have no say in this Senorina” Lilo said and immediately, two of his men pulled Camila away.
Lilo point his gun at Mariano, set to pull the trigger once again but a loud explosion outside earn everyone’s attention.
“We will go check it out” five of his men ran out of the room.
“I thought I said no one should accompany you” Lilo question.
“I didn’t bring anyone with me. I came alone” Camila said, trying to set herself free from the men holding her.
“If you think am lying then go check it out” Camila added.
“Two of you should stay behind, the others should follow me” Lilo said and left the room with some more men while two men stayed to watch them.
“My shoe lace is untie” Camila said as she knelt to tie the lace.
Unknown to the men, Camila had a pocket knife with her, pulling it out, she stab the first guy on his foot and slash the second guy on the face.
They were both groaning in pain that they had no time for her.
Camila used that period to untie Mariano.
“Did you really come alone?” Mariano asked.
“Yes, I couldn’t risk you being killed” she replied as pulled up her skirt to pull out the gun she had hidden inside her trouser.
“Alexis said you will definitely need this” she said as he took the gun.
At that moment, one of the guys she stab shot at them.
Mariano ran with Camila to hide against the wall while he effortlessly shot the two men down.
“We need to get out of here before they return ” Camila said.
“There’s a back door. I saw Lilo going through there few times” Mariano said as he pulled her through a door.
“They’ve escape! Go after them” they heard one of Lilo’s men say and hasten their pace.
They got out of the building and into the woods where some men began shooting after them.
Mariano held onto Camila who was finding it hard to keep up with him.
“Let’s hide somewhere ” Mariano said.
“No! If we do they will find us and kill you. Lets keep going” Camila said as she stood up.
They kept running till they got to the main road and luckily for them, a lorry was driving by.
Pointing his gun at the lorry, the driver had no choice but to stop.
“My wife and I need a lift” Mariano said, quickly pulling Camila in before joining her.
The lorry was down the street when Lilo’s men got there.
“They got away” one of them said, knowing Lilo will bury them alive.
“Are they gone?” Camila asked, breathing heavily.
“There’s no sign of them, we are save for now” Mariano replied, noticing her pale face.
“Are you okay?” He asked and she nodded.
“She is not okay! She has been shot, there are blood stain on her dress” The driver said hysterically.
Mariano touch Camila stomach only to feel the blood stain in his hand.
“Do wh@tëver you can to get us to the hospital!” He yelled at the poor driver who immediately step on the gas….
