After he left, the gang members began leaving, until it was just Niko, Charming and Zoey.

“I am going to talk to her once I leave this place. Don has a god-son?”

“Wh@tëver quarrels you have with Dove, fix it before embarking on a mission with us. You already know the pressure I put in before Don agreed to accept you, I don’t want to die because of your carelessness”
“It won’t happen again, Charming. Dove is the reason why I joined this robbery organization, and I won’t want her to find out, if by chance I get arrested”
“Wait! Dove doesn’t know about your new job?” Zoey asked.
“Dove is not like you Zoey. You became a robber alongside Charming, but Dove is different. I can’t tell her I am a member of a robbery gang” Niko said.
“But you became part of us cuz you wanted to give her the good things of life” Charming said.
“Yes. I’d quit once I saved up enough money” Niko said, and he remembered Candy’s words.
He became angry. He couldn’t confront Vincent earlier, cuz he had a mission to accomplish.
“I need to be somewhere”
“Where are you going?” Zoey asked.
“To teach a barking dog how to stay in its lane,” Niko said and left.
“Do you have any idea where he is going?”
“I don’t, Zoey. Since we got paid, should we go to a clubhouse?”

“C’mon Auntie, I am not a promise breaker, I will be in your house, tomorrow evening” Vincent said standing near his car, he is about to leave

Vincent’s anger left him.
He was angry that Niko punched him, but knowing his reason, he became calm.

“I’m sorry” Vincent apologized.

He released his hand from Vincent’s collar and left.
Vincent touched his wounded face and sighed.

Candy saw everything that happened, and she gave out a satisfactory smile, before approaching Vincent.
“Boss! What happened? Why did that guy hit you?” She asked, like she didn’t know she was the cause of it.
“Just go home” Vincent entered his car and drove off.
Candy smiled.
“Soon enough I will have you to myself Vincent. If I can’t have you, then no one can”

•DOVE’S HOUSE•
Jacob keeps sighing as he watches the robbery video on tv. A company was robbed earlier this night, and it was carried by the gang Niko belonged to.
“You should stop watching it, Dad. You might have a heart attack” Dove said, giving him a glass of milk.
“I want these robbers to be put behind bars. They are making people live in fear. I’m a cop, and it’s hurts that I can’t arrest this robbers”
Dove sits beside him and pats his shoulder.
“I am sure you will, dad. You just have to be patient. These robbers are skilled in what they do and it’s not easy to catch them. I am praying so hard for them to be arrested, so that one won’t be scared of being robbed”
“Thanks, Dove”
Dove smiled.
“How is Niko?”
“He is a fine dad,” Dove replied and Dora entered the house.
“It’s late Dora, where have you been?” Jacob asked.
“I was with Angel. I will be in my room” Dora was about to leave, but Dove held her hand.
“What now?! I told you I was with Angel!”
“I know, I have something to give to you, wait here” Dove smiled at her, but Dora rolled her eyes.
Dove went to her room and brought out an envelope containing money, she went back to the living room and gave it to Dora.
“What is this for?” Dora asked.
“It’s for you. It contains the money for your textbooks, you can use the rest to buy anything you want”
“Where did you get the money?” Jacob asked.
“I was paid handsomely by the company I work for, so if you need anything just tell me” Dove smiled.
“I will be in my room” Dora leaves, without saying thank you.
“She couldn’t even say thank you! Where’s Dora’s manners”
“It’s fine, dad. It’s my obligation to take care of you two”

“I know what you’re going to say, but don’t” Dove smiled and she got a text from Niko, asking her to meet up with him.
Dove took in her lips and looked at her dad.

“Why?” Dove asked, getting confused.

Dove flinched and moved backwards.

The ray of sunlight shone on Izzy’s face and she opened her eyes.
She took in her lips, recalling what happened between her and Charon last night.
She tried standing up from the bed when she didn’t see Charon, but he entered the room.
He was dressed up already.
“You’re finally awake?” He asked, and Izzy said nothing.
Charon threw an envelope on the bed. She looked at the envelope and went back to Charon.
“What’s this for?”
“I don’t want to say you took advantage of my drunken state last night, cuz I know you’re decent. Let’s just take it as a one night stand”
“One night stand?” Izzy asked, heartbreakingly.
“Yes. It’s my first time cheating on Piper, and I won’t have done that in my right frame of mind, so let’s just consider this as a one night stand and pretend it never happened”
“Boss”
“You are not a virgin, so I don’t see any reason why I should apologize to you. You’d have stopped me cuz you were sober, but since you didn’t, I don’t owe you an apology. You can leave when you finish dressing up. Piper and I already reconciled” Charon said and left the room.
Izzy didn’t know if she should cry or not, cuz it’s all her fault anyways.
She tried not to cry, but her heart was in pain, and the fact that Charon already reconciled with Piper, brought the tears, she was holding back.

Dove let out a sigh before knocking on Vincent’s door. Candy was with him, so she was the one who opened the door for her.
“What are you doing here?” Candy asked.
“I want to speak to Vinny”
“Dove?” Vincent recognized her voice.
He stood up from the chair and he smiled when he saw it was Dove.
“Dove” He smiled and looked at Candy.
“What are you doing? Let her through”
Candy frowned and paved the way for Dove to enter the office.
“What brings you here, Dove?”
Dove saw the bruise on his face, and she knew Niko must have punched him last night, but nevertheless, she pretended she didn’t see it.
“I want to terminate my contract with your company” She said, and Candy smiled, secretly.
“Why?”
“I don’t think I can continue working with you, Vinny. I don’t want any trouble”
“Is it because of Niko?”
“You can think wh@tëver you want to think, but I have made my decision. Find another supplier”
She tried leaving, but Vincent stopped her from leaving.
“You don’t have to terminate your contract with my company, Dove. I know I made a mistake, but I have changed”
“I know that, Vinny. Don’t underestimate Niko’s gentleness, he is capable of hurting you all because of me. He loves me too much and I won’t want you to feel his wrath because of me”
“I am not afraid of him, Dovey”
“It doesn’t matter, I also want to respect my boyfriend’s decision. Have a nice day” Dove leaves.
Vincent became sad immediately, and he ran his hands through his fringe hair.
“I think it’s for the best,” Candy said.
“Don’t let me vent my anger on you” He went back to his chair, placing his head on the table.

“Of course not, Dove. I’m totally fine, were you able to cover up the lies you told Niko? I’m sorry I didn’t call to ask” Izzy said, she doesn’t want to tell Dove about what transpired between she and Charon
“It’s fine. Jovita covered up for me”
“Jovita?”
“Yes. She lied to Niko that she also bears the name, Izzy. You won’t be busy tonight, right?”
“No, why?”
“Let’s have a sleepover at Jovita’s house, tonight”

Dora smiled when she arrived at Wilford college. She was dressed as if she was a college student.
