*Jezzabelle’s POV*
“I hear someone’s going to be 17 tomorrow”. I say walking into John’s room as he looks at me with a frown.
“So?”. He asks before putting on his earphones.
“What do you mean so? Your going to meet your mate in the next hours and your not excited about it? Like at all?”. I asked pulling his earphones out as he sigh.
“I got a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, I think finding my mate is something I will do later “. He says looking down at the book on his lap as I just remember he was now older and the older you get in highschool the harder the work gets.
“What’s your plan for tomorrow?”. I ask with a smile as he sighs before turning to me.
“School, then my game. Yeah that’s it”. He says with a shrug as I frown.
“No party or anything?”. I ask elbowing him with a smirk as he chuckles.
“Nah, I don’t wanna do anything this year”. He replied with a shrug before I got up.
“Why not? you always wanted to do something for your birthday every year? What’s so different about now?”. I ask confuse as he shake his head.
“You guys have been going all out on my birthday ever since you found your mate and I think that right there is already enough for me”. He replied as I gasped.
“I will not do anything for my little brother 17th birthday?”. I say with a frown before leaving his room as he laughed.
I walked through the hallways to my room with Kaden.
“I can’t believe he doesn’t want anything for his 17th birthday!?”. I gasped while pacing around the room confused and angry at the same time.
“When I turned 17, my mother surprised me with the best she could and this boy doesn’t want anything now that he’s got everything he already wanted”. I say rolling my eyes while walking back and forth trying to think.
“Is it my fault that in our wolf live, 17th birthdays mean everything to us?”. I say rambling on.
“What if he’s hiding something? what if he already find his mate? WHAT IF HE’S GOT SOME GIRL PREGNANT AND DOESN’T WANT HIS MATE TO KNOW CUZ SHE M…”. before I finished with my crazy thoughts, Kaden engulfed me in his arms kissing the top of my head.
“You worry too much”. he says snuggling his head against my neck as I sighed.
“I just want his 17th birthday to be one of the day he’ll remember forever, just like mine”. I say turning around in my husband’s arms to find smiling down at me.
“You remember”. He ask with a smirk as I shrugged.
“Kinda hard for me to forget the first time meeting my mate in the middle of the woods killing wolves right in front of my face outta nowhere”. I replied as he chuckled.
“Those rogues had their eyes set on you and as soon as I saw you, I knew I couldn’t let them anywhere near you”. He replied leaning down to kiss my neck as I giggled before pushing him away.
“Time for me to sleep now, I have to wake up really early bake John John his favorite chocolate cake with Oreo frosting and chocolate syrup on top”. I said with a excited cheer before getting into bed as my mate chuckles.
“Your so cute when you’re excited”. He says as I turn my lamp off on my side of the bed hearing Kaden turn off his after.
“Sweet dreams my little kitten”. He whispers into my ear as I smile at how ticklish it felt.
“Goodnight my big hairy mate”. I say turning my head to kiss his face before falling asleep quickly thinking about ways to celebrate my brother’s big day tomorrow.
