Griffin groaned in disbelief, Fuçk! Why does he of all people have to be Shortie’s husband?
“You certainly piss me off Diego” Griffin mumbled, his gaze turning cold as he began to step towards Diego’s direction.
Diego did the same, approaching him too. “I told you to take my name out of your Fuçking mouth”
Deadly glare locked, aura filled with fury as the marched towards themselves.
Griffin was the first to attack sending a punch towards Diego’s face but it was blocked. Diego smirked at the intensity, that only woke the crazy excitement in him. Griffin didn’t stop his brutal attack, both having a grin on their face.
When Diego sent his own too, his punch narrowly missed Griffin’s face causing him to stumble back. Before he could regain his balance, Diego attacked again.
“Not bad @$$hOle” Diego punch hit the wall when Griffin managed to dodge.. the wall cracked at the intensity.
“Well ain’t in prison for nine years, sitting and doing nothing. I’m glad you became stronger too..” Griffin grin widened. “That will only make it more exciting”
The two attacked each other again, sending deadly punches to themselves. However, the devil’s anger only made him stronger.. the fact that this bastard was hitting on his wife, made his killing instinct arises.
Diego’s hit got the Griffin, bursting one side of his lips. Holding his neck, he roughly hit Griffin’s back on the wall.
“I know there’s nothing good in you. You’ll never change!” He roared.
Griffin laughed even with the pain Diego’s attack had inflicted.
“I’m glad you know” Griffin mumbled bumping his forehead with Diego. He immediately use the opportunity to swing Diego down to the floor but that didn’t happen.. Diego swirl himself, not giving him the chance.
Candy was in Panic mode, these two fight was intense and fast, are they going to kill each other here? The atmosphere would made anyone shrink in fear. They were not giving each other a chance to breath.
She watch Griffin managed to punch Diego on the waist. Holding the same hand, Diego forcefully hit it, Griffin groaned.. a pumch flew to his face. Griffin dodge the next attack.
Candy’s phone rang, flashing Yazmine’s name on the screen. Gawd! She must be waiting for her.
Diego swiftly bought out a small dagger and swing it towards Griffin’s face. The blade narrowly missed him, cut some part of Griffin’s black hair.
Candy eyes widened. Diego is going to kill him. Griffin saw the look on Candy’s face, and thought of something.
In the next moment, Diego shove the dagger to Griffin’s stomach.
“Di!!!” Candy exclaimed not able to take the scene anymore.
Diego remove the knife made to stab Griffin’s face.
“Diego stop!!!” Candy exclaimed stepping forward.
The blade stabbed the wall behind Griffin’s instead. Both stopped as they stared at each other, sweating and breathing hard.
“For nine years, your name has been on my wall Diego. Each time I look at it, my hatred for you grow stronger. Do you wish to act like a jerk before your pretty wife?” Griffin asked, glancing over Candy.
Diego drew out the knife and stabbed the wall again. Griffin’s attention turn back to him.
“I’m not sparing you because I want to. Your death shouldn’t be this easy. I’m gonna show you those barricades is way better that you to be out here..” Diego drew his lips close. “Thinking of how much I’m going to torture you, make me feel excited Grief…”
Griffin clinched his jaw. Diego smirked and let go off him.
Candy breath out in relief. Diego held her hand and lead her to the car, open the door.
“Get in” He demanded, and Candy quickly obeyed.
As they zoom off, silence hung in the car for a while until Diego broke it.
“Since when did you know him?” Diego asked coldly.
“I only meet him twice before the birthday party. We didn’t talk much..”
“Didn’t talk much? And he called you shortie? A nickname?”
“Are you perhaps suspecting us?”
“You trust people a lot Candy. Humans are way complicated than you imagine..”
“So, what do you think I should do? I have no idea he was like this” Candy defended.
Diego sighed, his grip tightening on the steering wheel. “I think you should be careful, Candy. Not everyone has good intentions, especially when they start calling you pet names after just meeting you twice.”
Candy didn’t want to argue, she had no strength for it so she nodded slowly, chewing on her bottom lip.
“I’ll be more cautious from now on.”
Diego glanced at her briefly, a hint of concern in his eyes. “Just promise me you’ll be safe, okay?”
“I promise,” Candy replied softly.

“Huh? A girl asked you that?” Yazmine frowned at Jameson’s explanation.
“Yeah. She has a firece look on her face when she asked. ‘Did you see me as a woman?’ Of course she is a woman, why would she should ask?” He blinked in confusion.
Yazmine shook her head in disbelief.
“What a terrible IQ you have brother. You must have frustrated the young lady with your ignorance” Yazmine rolled her eyes.
“Ignorance? Am I missing something?” He asked.
“She likes you dummy. She likes you a lot and seeing that you have no idea upsets her”
Jameson froze for a moment. Yazmine let him think for a while before speaking again.
“It was Jackie, wasn’t it?”
“Huh? How.. did you know?” Jameson stuttered.
“It’s obvious Jameson. She never left your side ever since your accident. She h@tëd herself for keeping your secret” She muttered.
Jameson remain silent.
“Don’t tell me you’re still into Candy” She shook her slightly hoping her brother would say no.
“I don’t know what to think” Jameson mumbled.
“Really James! Can you just wake up. Jackie really cherish you. Can’t you just try her out?!”
“What if I don’t feel the same, huh? Look.. I’ll just figure it out okay? Things are just getting complicated.. Griffin is out and Romeo is in town.. a bloody battle might break out soon” Jameson picked up his coffee to drink.
“Diego and Griffin had a fist fight last night…”
Hearing this, Jameson spat back his drink and looked up in shock.
“Candy told me”
“Holy Sh|t! Is she okay?”
Yazmine raised a brow at him.
“I’m just worried for a friend. I’ll do the same thing if it was Jackie” Jameson clear her thought.
“She’s fine. I’m glad I was able to handle last night client anyway” She said. Her phone buzz as a message popped in.
*BABE, I HOPE YOU DIDN’T FORGET OUR DATE*
Yazmine bit down her lips as she read Aiden’s message. She blushed and immediately replied.
*I DIDN’T, I’LL BE THERE SOON*
She looked up from her phone and found Jameson staring at her. Her smile dropped and cleared her throat.
“What was that?” He asked curiously.
“Nothing”
“You just blush”
“I said it’s nothing, focus on your coffee. I’m going somewhere!” She snapped and huffed in anger. Jameson face turned paled.
“What’s with her? I just asked a question” He pouted. Taking his coffee again his thought went back to Jackie.
He picked up his phone immediately and dialed her number.

After giving Hannah her food and medication, Vincent tucked her to bed. His face dropped with sadness staring at his wife condition.
Her wounded skin was beginning to heal, though still hurts when medicine is applied.
“Let me go!!!”
With a frown, Vincient head snapped towards the door. Is there a fight in the hospital.
“It took me days to find this place so let go! Let me go kill that Bîtch who murdered my father!”
The voice came again and Vincent felt unsettled.
Soon, the door slammed open revealing Venessa breathing hard, her hair messy and her eyes burning with fury when they settled on Hannah.
“You!!” She marched forward to her but Vincient was fast enough to hold her.
“What do you think you are doing!” Vincient yelled at her.
“Let go off me. Let me kill her. Why did she do that to my father!!!” Venessa yelled not giving up on trying to reach Hannah.
Hannah remain motionless, her face blank as if nothing was happening.
The doctors and nurses rushed in, and a police. They all tried to hold Venessa.
“Don’t touch me!” Venessa hit one of the nurse, freeing herself. She finally got to Hannah. Holding her collar she pulled her up.
“Why did you kill my father?!! Why would you do that?!!!!!” She yelled insanely, tears streaming down her face.
The police grab her this time. She couldn’t get away this time. Her hands were handcuffed behind and she was taken away screaming.
Vincient eyes widened in shock, his chest heaving. He had almost forgotten about Venessa. The lady thought her wife really killed Henry…

“Wow, Miss Damsel lives here?” Ben lips parted in awe.
Einstein chuckled at his son’s excitement.
“Finally here” Diego appeared with a smile.
“Mr Devil!” Ben exclaimed running to hug Diego. Diego froze for a moment, obviously not expecting it.. or maybe he wasn’t use to it.
Ben looked up to him when he didn’t return the hug.
“You don’t want me here?” Ben asked.
“I want you here little fella” Diego ruffled the boy’s hair.
“Ben!” Candy exclaimed from a distance. They both tan to hug each other.
“I’ve missed you Miss, Damsel” Ben stated and Candy laughed lightly.
Einstein and Diego only watch the two in silence.
“Are you sure about this? You have a lot to handle” Einstein asked in concern.
“I have it under control. I just want see her smile” Diego said, staring at Candy’s bright face. He recalled when he woke up one night, after their intense moment. He found her secretly checking out children photos…
“Is there a solution for it?” Diego asked and Einstein smiled so hard.
Gosh! If someone happens to tell him a year ago that Diego is going to wish for a child, he would laughed.
“Did I say something funny?” The man’s cold question made snapped him back.
“No.. my apologies” Einstein looked back at Candy. “I don’t know Diego. We can only pray”
When Einstein left, Diego returned his gaze to Candy.. she was busy listening to Ben’s long talk.
“So you have a girlfriend?” Candy chuckled in disbelief.
“Hm, hm.. I’m so handsome”
“Don’t you think you’re too young? You should face your studies and make your parent proud first before doing that. Things like girlfriends do cause distraction and you’ll regret later on” Candy said with a serious but calm face.
“Is that so?” Ben blinked cutely. “Fine I’ll ask those girls not to call me their boyfriend anymore. I want to be a lawyer and fight bad guys like Mr. Devil”
“Mr.. what?” Candy looked up to Diego and burst into laughter. Diego found her laughter so beautiful, it was rare.
“Let’s go to the garden, I have something to show you”
Ben nodded at Candy’s word and she stood but got a sharp pain in her abdomen. Her face squeeze slightly in pain. Diego eyes widened and he quickly marched towards.
“What happened?” He asked.
“There’s a sharp pain in my tummy.. argh!” She yelped. Ben held a worried look.
Diego immediately took her in his arm, asking the maid to watch after Ben. Taking her into the car he drove to the nearest hospital.
“Di, it’s not that bad. We don’t need to be here” Candy spoke weakly, but Diego didn’t listen. Carrying her in a bridal style he led her in.

In a while, Diego can be seen tapping his feet restlessly. His mind wondering if Candy was okay.
Could it be what he is thinking?
The nurse walked up to him.
“How is she?”
“You can check on her now” The nurse said, an awkward smile on her face. Diego ignored it and entered the ward.
He found Candy sitting on the bed, her expression a bit weak.
“Are you okay?” Diego asked, checking her temperature with his hand.
Candy swallowed at his action…
“What happened to her?” Diego asked the doctor behind her.
“There’s nothing to worry about…”
“Is she pregnant?” Diego asked before he knew it.
Candy eyes widened, same as the doctor. Seeing their expression, Diego immediately knew that wasn’t the situation.
“No sir, it was her monthly flow” The doctor replied. “The medication will reduce the pain”
With this, the doctor left.
Diego returned his gaze back to Candy and to his surprise, he found tears in her eyes.
“Wife. Why are you crying? Does it hurt again?” He asked worriedly.
“I’m sorry” Candy said in between her sobs. “I’m sorry it’s all my fault”
“Stop crying, you’re scaring me” Diego said wiping her tears but more of stream down her cheek.
“You want a child, Di.. but I h@të myself right now” She croaked, shutting her eyes. Her heart clinched in pain.
Diego finally gets her. He immediately draw her face close, gently cupping her cheeks with both hands.
“Love, look at me and listen” His calm soothing voice prompt her eyes to open. She saw affection swirling in his gaze.
“Drop that thought of yours right now. You have no Fuçking idea how lucky I am to meet you. The day you became my wife was the best moments of my life. I can’t imagine how dark my life would have been without you by my side..”
Diego’s voice caught in his throat, tears glistening in his eyes as he spoke from the depths of his heart.
“Whether we have a child or not, it doesn’t change how much I love you. You’re not at fault for anything, and you have nothing to apologize for. We’ll face wh@tëver comes our way together, okay?”
Candy looked into Diego’s eyes, seeing the sincerity, her heart lit with warmth. She nodded slowly. Sniffing.
“So will you smile for me?” He asked.
Thinking back at when she first met Diego.. he has changed a lot.. mostly for her.
Candy lips curved up, revealing a beautiful smile on her face.
“Now that’s it.. come here” He pulled her into a warm embrace running his finger on her hair.
“I love so much Di, I can’t stop loving” She said after she was calm.
“I love you more, wife” Dego wiped her tears using his thumb. Leaning down, he kissed her gently.. making her forget her worries.

Eyes closed, breath heavy as Aiden pinned Yazmine against the wall. Their lips met hungrily, moving against each other crazily.
Yazmine Mõ@ned wrapping her arms around Aiden’s neck. She responded fast, rolling her warn tongue against his, until it went numb.
Breaking the kiss, Aiden buried his face at the crook of her neck, sucking and kissing her there.
His hand held her waist firmly, as she release those sweet Mõ@ns.
“I love you, Yaz” He confessed in a hoarse voice.
“I love you crazily, Aiden” Yazmine confessed too reconnecting their lips again.. He raised her up wrapping her legs around his waist..
It was at that moment.. the door opened…
“Why is Jackie not answering, her call? Could she be…”
Jameson abruptly stopped, his face turned paled as his eyes widened at the scene…
“What the…”
