Chapter Two
Ji-ho finally found her way to the balcony after wandering around for a while looking for a quiet and calm place to cool her head, the balcony was peaceful and quiet and the whole city could be viewed from it.
“Wow! This place is beautiful, the city looks calm tonight”. she spread her hands on the rail and inhaled the fresh air.” just what I needed” ” She smiled and then got interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.
“Hello pretty, there you are”. he said and ji-ho turned in his direction to see it was the same man from the bar earlier.
” what the hell is he doing here? how did he find me here? is he stalking me? ” she said to herself as the man moved a little closer to her with two glasses of drink in his hands. “who are you?”
“My name is Dal (달)
(Dal means moon), I saw you earlier at the party, I can’t lie, you look extremely beautiful, look I got you a drink”. he smiled
” No thanks, am not in the mood for that, and I will like to be alone “. She sounded unlikely.
” Come on, I want to keep you company, let’s get to know each other”.
“Didn’t you hear what I said, I said I will like to be alone “.
” I –” he got interrupted from behind.
“You heard the lady “. they turned in his direction and ji-ho was stunned to see who it was.
” Hey, Baek-Hyun”. he said smiling sheepishly. “is so good to see you”. he said and Baek-Hyun stared hard at him. ” don’t get me wrong here, I was only trying to be friendly”.
“And she said she would like to be alone, now leave”. he said unfriendly and Dal rushed off quickly. ji-ho frozen and couldn’t believe who was in front of her, he looked extremely handsome with a well-built athlete’s body, his hair was styled side way and his suit outfit was stunning on him, she couldn’t believe the petty Baek-Hyun of five years ago is standing in front of her as a grown matured man, a boy she has been caving and wanting to see and feel again ” Are you okay?”. He asked staring straight into her eyes.
“B-Baek-Hyun” she sputtered as tears filled her eyes, she ran into his arm quickly holding him tight and Baek-Hyun was caught off guard.” Tell me this is really you, tell me I am not dreaming right now”. she whined and Baek-Hyun hold her back patting her hair, he couldn’t resist her touch, he, also had missed her so much. ” I miss you so much”.They were in each other arms for a while before she finally regained herself and pulled away from him, cleaning her tears. “A-am sorry I got carried away, i-i-i “” She bowed her head to the ground.
” How have you been miss… I mean, Mrs. Ji-ho, am sorry about that”. he said and ji-ho raised her head to him.” did I say it wrong? am surprised to have seen you here, I thought I would never see you again”.
“Um, am sorry, I was invited by Su-ho and her husband and I didn’t know I would ever see you again either “. they stare deeply into each other eyes and then she breaks off the gaze.” um, is good to have you back anyway, i-i will just take my leave, I guess Su-ho will be looking for me”. She took a step forward and Baek-Hyun spoke out.
“Are you trying to avoid me now like you did five years ago?”. he asked as they back each other. ” you said earlier that you miss me so much and you couldn’t hide your joy when you saw me” he turned to her. “and now you are running away again, does it mean everything you said earlier was a lie?”. he asked and ji-ho turn to him. “Let’s be realistic here, I am not the nineteenth years old Baek-Hyun you once knew before”.
“Listen Baek-hyun, I already apologize about what I did earlier, I was surprised to see you that’s why I got carried away”.
” So, what you said to me earlier was all out of excitement?” he asked and ji-ho nodes her head and scoffed.”liar” He moved closer to her and their body were an inch apart, he stared deeply into her eyes. “you are not good at lying my little pumpkin, you lie with your mouth but your body reaction is different” he caressed her cheek tenderly. ” I know you miss me in as much as I miss you too”.
“Beak-Hyun I–”
“Shh” he interrupted her.” you can’t fool me anymore” He took her left hand tenderly and lifted her chin and her heart was beating wildly.” I can still feel the connection between us, I can feel your heartbeat”. he smiles and their eyes interlock. slowly moved his lips closer and kissed her. ji-ho willed her mouth to stop, but she kissed him back. As his kiss deepened, his arms went around her waist and drew her into his warmth. All she had kept inside and refused to express in many years that had passed found their way into the kiss. Was this what it felt to be with someone you loved, she never knew she could respond to him in this way. Baek-Hyun caressed her gently and she admitted to herself that she had longed for this. his kisses were mature and full of passion.

“Don’t you think we should look around for her?”Dae-Seong asked.
” No, ji-ho is not a kid, she can take care of herself, I guess she is somewhere having fun, so let’s leave her alone “. Su-ho said.
” Are you sure?”.
“yeah, everything is fine, am sure of it”.
“Okay, if you insist”. they continue enjoying the party.

Back to Baek-Hyun and ji-ho, who were still entangled in their kisses, he carried her up as her legs encircled his waist and he moved slowly to the other side of the balcony leading to the bedroom, he opened the door and shut it back with his leg, he slowly lay her down on the bed and continue with their intensive kissing, he stops to stare into her eyes, they were both burning with desire, he caressed her face.
“I miss you so much my little pumpkin and I don’t want to be far away from you again”. He said smiling and locking lips with her passionately, he was roaming and caressing her body, ji-ho Mõ@ned quietly at his touch and the kisses he placed on her neck and then returned to her lips and her hands were working on his shirt as she began to unbuttoned them one after the other, he sat upright on her body and take the shirt off, ji-ho blushed at his bare chest and six-pack, her desire in wanting him, increase, Baek-Hyun leans over to her and he saw how nervous she looks. “Do you want me to stop?” he asked as a whisper in her ear.
“No, I want you”. She kissed him and he caressed her face and kissed her back more intensely and passionately and entwined his fingers in hers. slowly he undressed her and Baek-Hyun stared amazingly at her angelic body, he caressed it and placed kisses on every part of her body and it sends shivering to all her body which made her let out a Mõ@n and holding tight to the pillow, biting her lips, she had never felt a touch like this before and it was driving her crazy, he pulls back to her and captured her lips, she caressed his hair gently as the atmosphere between them were hot and full of passion.
Back to the party, everywhere was still booming with cool music, there was a lot of excitement in the air as the guests made merry, chatting and laughing, Chan-yeol and Byung-ho were seen chatting with some pretty ladies, they had grown to become more matured and handsome, although they left to the state to join Baek-Hyun after a year that he left.
” Do you have any idea of where Baek-Hyun could be?”. Byung-ho asked as he whispered in chan-yeol ear.
“Nope, I guess he is somewhere around talking to some friends”. he whispered back to him and the ladies noticed their whispering.
” Is everything alright?” 1st lady asked and they turned to them smiling.
“yeah, everything is fine”. Chan-yeol replied.
” Then what were you two whispering about?” 2nd lady asked.
“Nothing really, we are just worried about the celebrant, but he will be here soon,” Byung-ho said, the ladies smiled at them and they continued chatting.
“Are you sure she is fine? Maybe we should go and check up on her”.Dae-Seong said looking worried.
” I know you are worried, I know ji-ho so well, she loves being private, so, I am sure she is fine”. Su-ho said as she sipped from her juice.
“Okay, I hope so”. he said, Su-ho stared at him and smiled.
~~~Back in the bedroom~~~
Both were cuddled in each other arms under the blanket with their clothes scattered on the floor.
“I never thought this day would come, caressed in each other arms like this”. Baek-Hyun said as he kissed her shoulder ” I want to remain and enclosed in your arms like this every day”.he said and ji-ho turned to face him, and he caressed her face. ” I love you, I love you so much, you have given me the best gift ever”. he sighs and they stare into each other eyes.” but how come you are still very pure? Didn’t you get married after these years?”. he asked and she turned her back against him.”what’s wrong? Did I say something wrong?”.
“No, I don’t want to talk about it”. she said calmly but sadness could be noticed in her voice, he turned her body back to him, both facing each other.
” I don’t mind if you don’t want to talk about it, I won’t bother you about it again until you are ready to tell me “. he kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly to himself.” I will never take you for granted and I promise to always cherish this day.”. they sighed.
An hour later, there was a knock on the door which jolted them out of their sleep.
“Baek-Hyun, are you in there?” Chan-yeol asked outside the doorstep as he kept knocking.” Baek-hyun?”.
“Are you sure he is in there?”. Byung-ho asked and then Baek-Hyun’s voice came through.
” What are you two doing at my doorstep?”. he asked.
“Did you forget you have a party going on downstairs and your parents are searching for you, It has been hours since you disappeared and you got everyone worried, not knowing you have been in your room, what are you doing? why aren’t you opening the door?”. Chan-yeol said from the outside and Baek-Hyun sighed.
“can’t I have a little privacy for myself, you guys should give me thirty minutes, I will join you soon”. He said.
“Sure, you better be, because you have a lot of questions to give answers to”.Byung-ho said and they left.
“Were those Byung-ho and Chan-yeol?” ji-ho asked.
“yeah, those two will never give me a breathing space”.
” wait, hold on, is this your party?”.
“Yeah, is my birthday party and also my housewarming party”. he said and ji-ho was surprised.” I know you are surprised, my family surprised me with the party anyway”.
“T-This is your house?” she asked surprisedly.
“Yeah, my dad built it for me while I was back in the state as a birthday present”.
” Wow! Congratulations, a-am sorry I didn’t get you any gift if I had known it was your party I would–”
” you don’t have to, you are enough for me already, you are the biggest and best gift I have received today”. he kissed her.”Thank you for that”. they smile at each other.
“We should go back to the party before they come back knocking at the door”.
” No, I want to remain in your arms like this”. he cuddles her tightly to himself.
“We can’t, you have been out for long and everyone is worried”. she said and he murmured.” come on”. she chuckled seeing him acting like a child.
