Chapter Two
~~Bedroom~~
Mrs.Ava was relaxing on the bed working on their laptop.
“Honey”.She called.
“mm”.
“Haven’t you wondered why Desmond and Jasmin are not fond of each other despite being twins”.She said.
“I also thought of that too, they have always been on each other neck since kids, I just wish they could love each other as one”.
“I wish so too” She sighed.

The next day in school, the girls were in the hall cheering the boys that was playing friendly basketball, they were divided into two groups. Group A was in white, Desmond was among group A with his friends, while the other group B was in blue, the referee blew the whistle and they started playing.
“I really don’t know why you force me to come here”. Jasmine said
“Come on, you know I love watching your brother play”.Olivia said
“Yeah right!”. She plugged her earphones in her ear and loud the music, Olivia sighed tiredly at her. Just then Desmond scored and everyone screamed in excitement.
An hour later, the match was over and Team A won with three points, everyone was celebrating, and Desmond was chatting with his friend when three female students rushed to them with water, they were flirting with them.
“Thank you “.Jake said as he took the water from one of the girls also with Desmond and Nathan.
The girls left happily, Olivia and Jasmine were staring at them and Jasmine scoffed.
“So annoying “. Jasmine said as she brought out her water to drink.
“You are unbelievable”.Olivia said and then Nathan walked up to them smiling.
“Hi ladies”.She said and Olivia smiled faintly at him.
“Hey, Nathan”.Olivia said blushing.”You were amazing out there”.
“Thank you”. He said and shifted his gaze to Jasmine. “Hey, can I get some water?”.he asked and Jasmine stared confusedly at him.
“What happened to the one in your hand?”.Jasmine asked unfriendly and Olivia brushed her shoulder with hers.
“Don’t ask and just give him”.She said quietly to her.
“I want your water, I would love to drink from yours”. He said.
“Fine!”.She said with a sigh seeing the look Olivia was giving her.”Here” She gave him the water.
“Thank you “.
“I am only giving you because….”.She got interrupted as Olivia pinched her leg.
“Don’t mind her, she is just too dramatic”. Olivia said laughing sheepishly.
“Thank you”.He smiled as he drank from the water and left to join his friends.
“What did you do that for?”.She quarrels.
“Why are you so difficult, can’t you see he is trying to make advances at you”.Olivia said.
“I don’t want him to, you should know how flirtatious he is”.
“And so, do you know how many ladies are dying for him to drink from their water? He came directly to you and you are just going to ditch him away?”.
“I don’t like him, he is not my type”. She said as she stood up and walked away.
“This girl will never learn”.She said tiredly as she stood up and followed her.
“You are doing it, bro!”Jake said to Nathan as he continued to sip from jasmine water bottle.
“Well, this is just the first start”. He said.
“Well, I wish you luck with that”.Desmond said as he left with his bag and his friends followed him behind.

The next day, after everyone had received the history class, Olivia and Jasmine were arranging their books when Nathan approached them, but Jasmine ignored him as she walked away and Olivia followed her behind. Jake came over laughing at him.
“I told you she is not going to give in”.He said.
“Is not over, I will keep trying”.Nathan said and two female students walked up to them smiling.
“Hey, guys”.They said.
“Hey, beautiful ladies”.Jake said
“Are you Desmond’s friends?”1st girl asked.
“Yeah, who’s asking?”.Nathan asked.
“We, we actually need you guys’ help,”.2nd girl said
“What could that be?”.They asked with their hands in their pocket.
“Can you help us talk to Desmond to come for our pool party this weekend, you two can come as well, but we actually need Desmond’s presence”1st girl asked.
“Really? Pool party?”.Nathan questioned and the girls nodded.
“That’s nice, but it will cost you girls something”. Jake said flirtatiously and the girls pulled closer to them as they made a seductive move on them.
“We will do anything you ask for, “.1st girl said as she caressed Nathan’s chest and he shivered.
“OK, you girls should meet us at the town clubhouse tonight “.Nathan said.
“Deal!”2nd girl said. they walked away and they smiled after them.
“What a good day to start the weekend”.Jake said.
“I can’t wait to get my hands on that sëxy body”. Nathan said and he got a hit on his head.”Ouch! What did you do that for?”.
“You are supposed to be courting Jasmine not flirting with another girl”.
“Are you seriously kidding me, the fact that I want Jasmine doesn’t mean that I can be with another”.
“So, this means, your affair with Jasmine is just going to be like other girls you have had s!x with before”.
“What were you expecting? Serious relationship?”.He scoffed and walked away, Jake chuckled after him as he left to join him.

Later at home, Jasmine was in her room, painted purple color, and was very cozy with girlish designed
“Should I come in?”.Mrs.Aza asked as she entered to see her working on her assignment.
“Yes, Mom”.She said and she stopped what she was doing
“How are you doing?”.
“Am fine Mom”.She said smiling. “What brings you to my room?”.
“Just checking up on you, you know have been busy this day trying to attend to clients”.
“Yeah, so, when is the show coming up?”.
“In a few months”.
“Aw! I can’t wait”.
“Sure dear, I can’t wait either”.They smiled.
“Is Desmond participating in the model show?”.
“Hmm, I don’t know, for now, I hope so”.
“He sure does, he is perfect and has the height and the body for it, and besides people tend to the show because of him, most especially ladies, I don’t know what they see in him that got them attracted”.She said and her mother laughed.
“Are you jealous of your twin brother?”.
“Jealous of him? He is not worth it”. She said.
“You don’t have to be unfriendly with him, you two are one”.
“Exactly Mom, but I don’t share that bond with him, maybe he got switched during our childbirth, and his attitude toward me is unlikely, I don’t think he is my brother”.
“Don’t say that, I know he loves you, but he is just so stubborn to show it, but not to worry, you two will grow to love each other “. She said as she stood up to leave.”I will take my leave now, have a good night’s rest”. She kisses her forehead and walks away while Jasmine continues with her assignment.
