Christabel’s pov
I looked up at him. He was smirking.
Wait did he do this on purpose?
I cleared my throat and gained balance once more. I adjusted my shirt while he stared at me with a blank face.
“Tha….thank you.” I said.
“I should have allowed you to fall but I don’t wanna be a bad prince.” He batted his wet lashes and licked his lips.
I forced myself not to look at those pink plump lips of his. They are so lush.
“Still..thank you.” I replied.
“Yeah. You’re welcome.” He answered, perfunctorily and walked to his wardrobe.
Ah! I need to go back to my room. I don’t wanna see what I don’t wanna see.

Minutes later, I heard his voice saying,
“Come out or you wanna sleep there” He said.
I quickly took my bag and phone. I opened the door and saw that he was through dressing. And also, he has eaten the food on the table.
The table was empty. I guess he returned the plates.
He walked to the door and touched the knob then twisted the knob and the door got opened.
He walked away while I followed him behind.
He wasn’t carrying any book this time. Just his phone.
We got to class and sat down beside each other. The first period came and a teacher entered the class.
He taught us chemistry and left when the time for second period rang.
Another teacher came in.

Hours later, the prince suddenly got up from his seat and faced me.
“Follow me. We are going already.” He said to me and walked out of the classroom even when a teacher is in the class.
I swallowed my saliva, took my baby and went with him.
I thought a boarding house student mustn’t go out.
‘He’s the prince’ My subconscious told me.
We passed the which we used for training the other day and got a place where a car was packed.
He used its remote in opening the car door and we entered. He ignited the car engine and drove out of the school.
The security didn’t even border to ask questions about me.
His phone beeped.
He used one hand in controlling the steering and used the other to take his phone out of his pocket.
“Yes?” He said.
“Huh? We will be sleeping there today? I thought we’re gonna come back……okay, fine! I’m coming with someone.” And ended the call.
“We are sleeping in the palace this night.” He broke the news to me.
I wasn’t expecting that. And I don’t think he’s expecting that too.
Sleep in the Palace? I don’t know but I’m having a feeling about something.
