Christabel’s pov
I got to my seat and sat down on it. Everyone was busy talking, laughing and all that.
While I sat alone watching.
Soon, a teacher came in and began teaching. The prince is yet to be here. What’s he still doing in his room?
How’s that my concern anyway? He can skip class anytime he likes. He’s a prince. Rich amd famous. Not a low born like me.
The first teacher left then the second and third came. The prince isn’t here. I need to check on him.
Just as I was about to stand up, he came in. Gosh! Since morning. I sat properly and looked up at him.
He held a frown on his face. Why? He seems to be angered.
Our eyes met and it soften almost Immediately. Don’t tell me, seeing me made his face soften.
He walked to his seat and faced me. “A girl is coming.” He whispered.
And then, someone rushed in. “Prince Lucien!” An average girl with red hair yelled. “Seriously!” She snapped.
“Told you. She’s a pest.” The prince whispered again before facing the red haired girl. “What do you want, Linda?”
“We need to talk!” The girl said.
“As you can see, I’m having class right now. Before I do something bad to you, get out!” The prince ordered.
“Fine! I’m going to. But I will wait for you in your room.”
Huh? In his room? My room? Gosh!
“Ma’am, can you please leave? I will like to start my teaching.” The teacher said and showed her the way out.
“Fool! I know the way out myself. Stop being so foolish.” She snarled at the teacher, rolled her eyes and walked out of the class.
“Why would she talk to a teacher like that? So rude and arrogant!” I said, turning to the prince. “Where did you know the stupid girl from? Gosh! It’s a good thing she wasn’t talking to me. The teacher is so calm to have let her go.” I scoffed.
“You mean Elizabeth? That girl is one of my dad’s counselors. She’s Bîtchy.” The prince replied. “Just like Diana.”
“Wait! She said, she’d be waiting for you in your room. What’s she doing here anyway?” I asked.
“She’s my betrothed.” The prince answered.
