“Clement??” The girl called, after Sunny had ran off.
Clement swallowed hard, and looked at her.
“Yes, Cassy?” He replied.
“Who’s that girl??” She asked, with a frown.
“Huh…Just someone I know. Let’s talk later, okay? I just remembered,, I forgot to take down the trash” He rushly said, and ran off.
Cassy arched her brows.
“What’s this now??” She thought.

“Sunny? Sunny!! Please,,, wait. Let’s talk, huh??” Clement called, running after her.

“Sh!t” He cussed, seeing how late he was in holding onto her.
He quickly took out his phone from his pocket and called her.
“This line is switched off. Please, call later or leave a message after the beep” The service spoke.
“Darn it!!” He snarled.

Sunny knocked the door and it flung open, immediately.
Her only best friend and roommate, Maya was surprised seeing her early from work, with a crying face.
“Hey,,, What’s wrong?” Maya cooed, and took her in.
Sunny didn’t say anything. She was just crying.
Maya sighed deeply and hugged her close.
“Talk to me, hunny”
“Which should I tell you first? The good or bad news?”
Maya looked at her, perplexed.
“Huh? The bad news,,, I guess?”
“I got fired!”
“Wait…WHAT!!” Maya stood up.
“Why??” She asked.
“Cause I don’t have the old face of a secretary? So pathetic! He said I look like his last daughter at home and he wants a matured and older person” Sunny sniffed.
“Oh…well,, f*ck him!! He can f*ck off!! What an assh*le. I’m getting pissed off right now. Just tell me the good news so that I can cool off his rage” Maya muttered, fanning her face, with her hand.
“I…found out my fiancé doesn’t really love me” She muttered, with new brand tears running down her eyes.
Maya widened her eyes.
“Pardon??”
Sunny nodded.
“He has been using me. Gosh, and I nearly married him”
Maya slowly sat down.
“I mean,,, why would he?? Your marriage is in a month time”
“We have to call it off then” Sunny wiped her tears.
“Are you sure he doesn’t love you? Who told you that??”
“Maya…I saw it myself. He was all over a lady. I went unexpectedly to his place to tell him what happened at the office. There, in his room, on his bed, he was kissing and touching a lady”
Maya screamed, and tried to walk away.
“I’m gonna show him a lesson!! That motherf*cker, who does he think he is!!”
“No,,, Maya. Please, don’t. Its over. d@mn it. I even wasted my cash to get him red apples. I’m such a knucklehead”
Maya sighed deeply and hugged her.
“Its fine. I’m here. Let’s just forget about that job and Clement”
“But…I really loved them both” She whispered, with more hot tears flowing down her eyes.
*Ringggggg*
“Hold on. I’m getting a call” Maya sniffed, and broke the hug.
She looked at her phone screen, scoffed and kept her phone away.
“Who’s that?” Sunny asked.
“That jerk,,, Clement”
Sunny sighed and looked away.
The ringtone ended.
“Better. He had better not call again or he’ll end up having nightmares after I rain curses on him” Maya said.
*Riinggggggg*
“Aiisshh!! He never listens!!” She screamed, and took her phone.
Without looking, She swiped green and placed against her ear.
“Jerk!! Mother f*cker!! Loser!!! Son of a Bîtch!!! I’m gonna kill you. Just you wait. How dare you-
“No,,, How dare you” A harsh voice sounded.
“Excuse me???” Maya questioned, and looked at her phone.
She widened her eyes, and gasped.
“F*ck” She muttered.
“What’s it??” Sunny whispered.
“Its the landlord” Maya whispered back.
“Oh my goodness” Sunny used her palm to cover her opened mouth.

“What did he say?” Sunny asked.
“He said he had been calling you” Maya scratched her head.
“Oh…I switched off my phone cause of Clement. Why? What’s wrong??” Sunny asked.
Maya sighed deeply.
“Our rent. Its expiring tomorrow”
“Oh no” Sunny whispered.
A BAR**
“Hey,,, man. Why getting drunk this hot afternoon??” Prince pocketed his hand and sat beside his friend.
Clement sighed deeply.
“I must have been insane”
“You called me here to watch your insanity? Then, I had better take my leave” Prince said.
“No, please. Stay” Clement held him.
Prince sighed and sat close to him
“What’s it?” He asked.
“Please, a beer for my friend” Clement told the barman.
“Dude,,, what’s it??” Prince asked, anxiously.
“d@mn it, man. I’m in trouble”
“How??” Prince asked.
Clement rubbed his head.
“Well,,, Thanks to Cassy, your sister” He rolled his eyes.
Just then, the bottle of beer arrived in front of Prince.
