He left her to Theodora’s room, only to see her packing her stuffs. “Hey.” He said from the door.
“Hey.” She said not sparing him a glance.
“You’re leaving?”
“I think you can see what I am actually doing.”
“You don’t have to.”
” Please don’t tell me you’re here to stop me.”
” Holland told me everything. Why would you want to leave because of him? ”
” I change my mind. And besides, my husband is dead, he has nothing to do with me. With someone else ruling, my whole life is d@mn so complicated.”
She looked at her wardrobe for the last time, it won’t be necessary taking this hell killing dresses, all she needed was a simple one.
“Thanks for checking on me but, I can’t stay here anymore.” She packed her bag pack on her shoulder.
She stiffened the moment she saw him. “I uhmm… it’s you?”
“You don’t have to go.” He repeated.
“I have to. And please don’t stop me. ”
He was still standing by the door, she stopped. ” Step back. ” He stood still. ” Are you deaf? I said step back. ”
He shifted, letting her walk away.
She was meters away from her room, she stopped. Raymond was watching her to see if she needed attention.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
“What’s happening to me? ” She rubbed her head. ” What… “He grabbed her before she made it to the ground.
“What happened?” Asked the physician.
“I don’t know, she just passed out.” He replied. ” Will she be alright? “He asked impatiently.
The physician checked her pulse and temperature. ” She is alright.”
“But… I don’t understand… why would she faint if she is alright?”
” I am as confused as you are, sire.”
She jerked up, breathing heavily. The physician shivered a bit but pretended not to be scared.
“What am I doing here? I’m supposed to be somewhere else and not…” she looked around. “in a fu*king hospital. ”
She got to her feet. She kept a mean face at Raymond, “Don’t even think about stopping me ever again.” She picked her bag from the table, leaving the room.
” Does she know who you are?” Asked the physician.
Raymond made no comment.
” You have to tell her. ” Raymond looked at him but still didn’t say a word.

Theodora had almost reached to the gate when Holland ran to her. “Theodora wait!” She called.
“Holland for the love of Zeus, don’t think of stopping me. ”
” I don’t wanna stop you, but at least before you leave Moon Stone, you have to find the answer you seek for. Don’t you wanna find out what you are forgetting?”
” Some times we don’t get what we want when we need them, but we can always have them only if we exercise the patience. Wh@tëver it is can wait till some other time. Right now, I have to find my home. Good bye, Holland.”
She turned to leave, when the voice sounded in her head. ” Theodora.”
She stopped again, turning to her. “Did you just call my name?”
Holland smiled, he was actually reconnecting with her again. “Yes. Yes, it’s working.”
“What are you talking about?”
Holland was busy smiling at her. She rolled her eyes, but the voice called her again. “Theodora. Theodora.”
She tried ignoring his voice, she ran away, far away, hoping she would never hear the voice again.
As she sat beside a tree to rest that night, she had created a little fire to keep herself warm from the night breeze.
She was staring at the moon, her ears attentive to sound of the night creatures. The rogues camp was miles away from Moon Stone.
She dozed off by the small touch of the wind on her skin. She woke up, finding herself in the cave.
Just as her first dream had happened, it all repeated.
She could feel the cold air against her skin, her body shivering, her teeth gnashed.
“What’s this place?” She asked no one in particular.
Her eyes caught with a glimpse of light coming from one corner of the cave. She followed the direction, which led to where the flower was kept.
She was standing before it, her hand halfway to touch it but was stopped by the growling sound of the beast.
She flinched in fear, staring at its face. It was asleep, snoring soundly.
It’s both hands and legs tied with a thick metal chain hung against the rocky wall.
She returned her gaze back to the flower, she was thinking of some thing but couldn’t understand her thoughts.
“How did she get here? What’s this place? Why is such a great animal locked up in here? And why is she the only one seeing this?” All this questions bombarded her mind that she notice the beast was staring at her.
She turned to look at him, her eyes widened in fear as his eyes pierced into hers.
She was staring into his eyes, and like a mirror she was watching every past actions. Every memory she had of him.
How it all started. The night in her room, how she had thought it was her father who had called her. How he’d been in control of her mind.
How he had promised to kill her, and how she pushed him off her mind with the abusive word she had said to him.
She remember. She remembers it all.
“Raymond.” She said the name like it held power.
She fell to the ground, waking up back to reality. “Raymond. Raymond. Raymond.” She repeated.
Holland’s words began to reflect in her mind. “King Raymond has taken over the throne.”
The beast… Her hope… Her dream…
He’s Back…
