*FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL*
MEGAN’S POV
“Urrrggghhh!!! Turn it off!!” I groaned loudly as I woke up by my stupid noisy alarm.
I took the alarm clock and smashed it on the floor angrily. I checked the time on my iPhone 13 with pink glittered case. It’s still 7:20.
The alarm is not supposed to sound right now. Who set it to 7:20? It’s supposed to ring at 9:00.
Because I’m homeschooled, I always sleep late. I think it’s Stacy, my personal maid.
Maybe because mom decided to put me in day school. But I don’t want that. I love being homeschooled. I don’t think mom is serious.
I groaned again and went back to sleep. I hope she’s not serious.
Someone tapped me “Umm… Your Highness, it’s time for you to prepare for your first day at Bravely High School.”
“Go away! I’m trying to sleep.” I yawned.
“But her majesty will be mad if…”
“She’s not gonna be mad, okay? So go enjoy yourself.” I said as I covered my face with the blanket.
Stacy sighed as she walked out of the bedroom.
I closed my eyes with a smile as I was about to sleep peacefully. I felt someone sat beside me and caressing my face.
Oh No! Mom!
“Oh Meggie!” she whispered softly with her fancy British accent.
She always talks with her fluent British accent. So that’s how she speaks.
“Not now mom. I don’t wanna go to school.” I whined lightly.
Mom sighed “Buh baby, you need to go. You have made all your homeschool teacher quit and I could not find another one so…”
“They quit because they won’t let me use my phone.” I said.
“Then you leave me no choice, young lady.” she said as she stood up and left.
I smiled and I felt like sleeping off…
“Argh!!!” I screamed and stood up from my wet bed as water splashed all over my body and bed and my skin and hair begin to glow brightly.
Thank God we’re at home. Anytime water touches me and my mom, our body will glow. That’s why I’m home schooled.
“Mom!!!” I cried.
ATHENA’S POV
Urgh! I am so fed up about this lady child of mine. She is a spoilt child. But she is my spoilt and lazy child.
I went to her bathroom and fetched a bucket of water and went back to her bedroom.
I splashed the water on her as she cried and stand up.
“Mom!!!” she yelled.
“Get ready in ten minutes.” I said and walked out of the room with the bucket.
I gave Stacy the bucket and went to my bedroom.

MEGAN’S POV
I stump my feet as I grumbled loudly. I can’t believe mom would do something crazy.
I’m not surprised. She might be proud and act perfect as a Queen but sometimes, she’s a badass and she’s annoying.
But she’s my annoying mother, I love her no matter what.
My glowing body went back to normal.
I went straight to the bathroom, undressed myself and entered the jacuzzi.
My body begin to glow again. My mom and I don’t even know the source of this power because none of my grand parents and great grand parents has the supernatural power. No one knows about this.
Anytime I drink water or any juice or yogurt even ice cream, I’ll glow, if I bathe, I’ll glow, if I swim, I’ll glow if a drop of water touches me. I’ll glow.
In Addy , anytime water touches me or mom, I can control it for only 10 seconds but after the 10 seconds, we’ll become so bright till the water dry off our body.
Going to school is kinda risky for me because we’ll get exposed.
We’re a weird Royal Family.
After bathing I came out of the bathroom with my big white robe, I applied lotions to my skin and wore a Givenchy grey tight long sleeve blouse, a black pleated skirt, white socks that reaches my thigh and a black Barbara flat shoes.
I straightened my hair with hair straightener and wore my nerdy glasses.
I headed straight to the large dining room and met my mom who’s already done for breakfast.
She drank a glass of water and she glows.
I joined her at the dining table and ate my breakfast. Pizza and lemonade.
Both of us left the palace, went to the garage and entered the limousine and the driver drove off.
I took a deep breath and looked at mom “Are you sure about me going to school?”
Mom sighed “Baby, you know you need school. You haven’t even go to school your whole life, I’m just saying that at least you should make friends and literally focus on your studies.”
“But what about our weird powers?” I asked.
“It’s okay sweetie, you’ll be fine, I’m just gonna watch you for today.” she said.
“Why can’t I be homeschooled as always?” I asked again.
“Because hiring a home lesson tutor is totally hard for me because of you. You’re not always focused on your studies and like 30 teachers has quit because of you.” mom said.
I sighed feeling annoyed “Wh@tëver.”
We finally arrived at the school, Bravely High School, the school is totally big, large and beautiful. Like an office building.
They’re a lot of rich and spoilt kids of my age, I’ve never seen a lot of people of my age like this before.
I’m so nervous, so many people I don’t know, all the girls are beautiful, the boys dressed like they own the world.

NATE’S POV
I stood in front of the school gate, feeling nervous. Like as if it’s the first day at school.
I’m seriously nervous and heartbroken because of what happened last weekend.
*FLASHBACK*
I’ve always had a huge crush on Gina, the most popular and beautiful girl in school.
Her blonde hair like gold, her flawless skin like a smooth mango, her beautiful face and she’s very stylish. She looks so cute in her cheer outfit.
I really want to express my feelings since 9th grade but her boyfriend, Tony always bully me like a trash.
Fine, I’m Nate Bennett, I’m an 18 years old quiet nerd, and I’ve never date or even kiss any girl in my whole entire life and it’s super weird.
Anytime I see Tony and Gina making out. I wish it was me she’s kissing.
I decided today, at least I should kiss a girl and she has to be my crush.
Good thing she just break up with Tony a week ago so…
I stole her number and I decided to FaceTime with her. I called her and she answered with a groan.
Gina: What?
Nate: I just wanna ask maybe you wanna hang out tonight?
Gina: And why should I hang with you?
Nate: I just…
Gina: Wh@tëver, come to my house at 7:00
Nate: (excited) okay. (Gina hung up)
“Yes!” I jumped feeling excited.
At night, I decided to wear a black suit and combed my curly hair straight to the back. I left the house and bought a rose bouquet.
I entered a taxi and arrived at Gina’s mansion. I stood in front of her door and took a deep breath as I sprayed my mouth with mouth spray.
I frowned as I heard some noise and Mõ@ns. I shrugged as I pressed the doorbell.
“W… Who is it, um?” I heard Gina’s Mõ@ning voice.
That’s weird.
“Uhh Nate Bennett.” I replied.
“Harder!” Gina Mõ@ned again.
What’s going on?
“Go away, you f*cking punk, I’m having fun with my girl.” I heard Tony’s voice.
Oh no, I hope it’s not what I’m thinking.
Gina opened the door, with tiny towel wrapped around her body showing her thighs, looking dirty, her hair is totally messy.
Tony stood beside her smirking at me “What did you want?”
“You look like an ugly dork going for a funeral.” Gina laughed.
I was heartbroken and felt like crying.
“I thought you two broke up.” I said.
“Yeah we broke up but he’s so sweet and I miss him so we decided to make up with each other this 2 hours ago.” Gina said and kissed Tony on the lips, not caring I’m still here.
My eyes was soaked with tears “But… We’re supposed to hang out tonight.”
Gina scoffed “Do you really think I wanna hang out with an ugly nerd like you. Ew! Gross! You even disgust me. No girl can never date you.” they laughed.
“Come on baby, let’s continue.” Tony said as they kissed passionately and closed the door.
I clenched my fist and threw the flower away. Feeling like a total fool.
Gina’s right. No girl can never date me so I’ll have to stop trying. I h@të myself and my life. I’m so tired.

I walked into the school hallway as I sighted Gina in her cheer uniform, making out with Tony as usual.
They sighted me and laughed at me then went back to their make out session.
I shook my head sadly as I went to my locker and I took my books I needed.
The school bell rang and everyone went to their various classes except me.
I can’t face the class due to the embarrassment. Good thing I have a personal hallpass lanyard.
I sat on the floor and started solving maths equations, since that’s what cheers me up.
MEGAN’S POV
After filling of forms and interview stuffs, mom and I left the principal’s office.
I can’t believe mom made me choose Science instead of Art class, I h@të science and I always feel insecure in a lab.
Thank God mom will leave the school and I’ll go to class. Good thing I have the school map and I know how to use a map.
I’m walking down the empty hallway.
“So here are the rules you must follow in this school.” mom said as she’s following me.
“Aren’t you supposed to go home and continue your royal stuff?”I asked.
“No, I want to be with you for the rest of the day at school, to protect you in case of the power.” mom said with her British accent.
I rolled my eyes “But mom, I can protect myself.”
“Don’t worry, I will always be with you.” she said proudly.
Is she even listening to me?
“So, do not drink any juice or soda in the cafeteria. Drink what you want to drink at home.”
“Okay…”
“If you want to use the bathroom, make sure no one is there and be careful…”
“Mom, I think I know what to do.” I said.
“Wh@tëver sweetie, wait for me, I have to talk to your teacher for something. I’ll be right back.” mom said and followed a teacher passing by.
I sighed and waited, checking the school map.
Okay, I’m lying, I don’t know how to use a map. I don’t know where my class is.
I sighted a super cute nerd sitting on the floor, writing something and using calculator.
I approached him “Hi.”
He looked up at me and his jaw dropped.
He’s so cute and handsome, his brown curly hair are so amazing, his pink lips like strawberries. I’ve never seen such a cute guy before.
NATE’S POV
I dropped my calculator by mistake as I see an angel. She’s so cute and adorable in glasses.
Her black straight hair are irresistible, her reddish lips like cherries. She’s like a goddess. Is she real?
“Hello!” she snapped me out of my thoughts.
I scoffed nervously as I stood up and Wow! She’s so short.
“Whoa! You’re so tall!” she gasped.
“Whoa! You’re so short!” I mimicked her playfully.
Sometimes I’m kinda funny those I like. Wait what?
“Haha, very funny. I’ve do you know where 11th grade class is?” she asked.
Wow, she’s in my class?
I couldn’t stop drooling over her, she’s so beautiful. She even made me get over what happened last weekend. I don’t know…
MEGAN’S POV
I frowned as I poked his cute forehead.
“Ow! Not cool girl!” he winced.
“Sorry, but sometimes you’re being insensitive.” I said rudely.
“Excuse me?” he asked.
“Just show me around the school or something.” I said.
“Oh you want me to show you around the school?” he asked.
I rolled my eyes “Yeah, that’s what I just said.”
He shrugged “Okay, I’m Nate Bennett, that’s front, back, left, right, bye.” he said rudely and walked away.
I frowned and pouted “Punk!”
“Um Meggie, who’s that?” mom asked as she approached me.
“Just some random kid being an idiot, I asked him to show me…” I stopped talking as I noticed mom smirking at me. “Why are you starring at me like that?”
She shrugged “No reason, I’m just happy that my daughter is gonna have her very first boyfriend.”
“What? No way I’m dating that punk. Besides I have a little crush on someone on Instagram.” I blushed.
“Are you talking about Tony Talker, aka T²?” mom asked.
I bent my head blushing. I don’t know him but he’s super cute but not as cute of Nath or wh@tëver his name is.
“I don’t have any good feeling about that boy. ”
I groaned “Mom, enough with the insult, you’ve not even met him.”
“Let’s just go to class.” mom said and we entered the class.
We went to the classroom, I entered the class feeling nervous.
“Hey class, I’ll like introduce you to our new student, Megan and her mother, Athena.” the teacher said.
“Awww, mama’s kid.” a guy yelled and everyone laughed.
Wait, it’s not just a guy, Tony Talker, he’s so cute real life but Nate is still cuter than him. I should stop thinking about that cute nerd. But Tony Talker…
“At least the mama love her daughter.” mom said and everyone laughed again.
I bent my head feeling embarrassed.
“Um Megan, how about you sit with Nate?” teacher said.
“Yeah, ugly nerd sitting with ugly nerd and still brings her mom.” a blonde beautiful girl sitting beside Tony mocked me and people laughed.
Who’s that girl? His girlfriend?
“Behave yourself, Gina.” teacher scolded and Gina rolled her eyes.
“Sorry about that, Megan, just go to your sit.”
I nodded and sat next to Nate who’s totally minding his business.
“Okay Meggie, I’ll wait for you outside.” mom said as she left the class and everyone laughed.

“Laugh at my daughter again and I’ll turn all of you into the laughing stock.” mom yelled from outside.
Everyone became scared and quiet.
“Weirdo.” Nate whispered.
“Weirder.” I retorted.
GINA’S POV
That girl is so ugly and I can see, she’s starring at my boyfriend.
I’ll make sure I teach her a lesson for trying to steal Tony away from me.
If her stupid mom leaves, I’ll deal with her.

MEGAN’S POV
Mom and I went straight to the cafeteria.
Wow, the cafeteria is big and beautiful, it looks like a French expensive restaurant.
“Next time I am not in school with you, make sure you show those bullies who’s the Queen. I seriously wish we can show off our royalty.” mom said as we’re walking down the hallway.
Yeah, we’re hiding our identity but still dressing like rich people. Because of the glowing situation.
I noticed some people admiring me because of my mom.
? She kinda looks just like her mom.

Wow, I thought I’ll be humiliated by bringing my mom on my first day.
“No matter what, don’t tell anyone about the glowing powers.” mom said and I nodded in agreement.
We noticed two girls fighting over a orange juice.

“Argh!” my mom and I both screamed as they mistakenly spilled the orange juice on the both of us.
Oh No! In 10 seconds we’ll be exposed. This is bad.
