CHAPTER SIXTY ONE
Jesse sat beside Williams who didn’t spare him a glance.
They were currently sitting on the sand at the beach, that was the closest place for Williams to stay and think even though he was already having interruption.
He would pick up the sand then play with it like he’s counting them then he would pour it out, taking another.
Jesse sat staring into space but making sure to put all his concentration on Williams.
Why are you here? Williams said in a voice that would pass as a whisper.
Jesse glanced at him for a second then looked away without responding.
You betrayed me, Williams added, why?
Jesse picked up a little stone and threw it at nothing then he watched the stone roll till it landed on the sand.
No response? Williams asked turning to face him.
You betrayed me first, Jesse replied glaring at him.
What do you mean?
You killed my brother, why? Jesse asked clenching his fist.
Willliams shook his head then looked away.
Da.. He paused and swallowed hard.
Harry’s order, he replied plainly.
I know that, I know it was his order but what about me?
Did you bother about how loosing my only surviving family will feel for me?
You would have done something Williams but no,you followed the orders, I would give my life for you but you.. you cold heartedly took mine away from me!
Williams was speechless.
He followed Harry’s order and killed the only family his right hand man has, he would have done something but he didn’t, he killed him
Why are you still with me then? Williams asked
The boss asked me to, Jesse replied without a care.
J.J, Williams muttered packing another sand.
Its getting dark, we should leave,Jesse said after several minutes passed.
Leave, Williams replied.
I’m not leaving without you, Jesse insisted and Williams turned to him again.
You don’t owe me your loyalty anymore, you should go back to your boss,Williams said standing up as Jesse got up too.
Jesse ignored him but didn’t stop following him.
Williams who didn’t have the strength to speak allowed him, he won’t try killing him at least, that’s not J.Js style except Jesse might want to take revenge then he will be fine to die anyways.
His life was already meaningless.

Alondria stood over Jared who was sitting on the hospital bed, thankfully the bullet has already been removed and the wound was already bandaged.
He didnt have any need to stay in the hospital so he asked for his bill to be arranged while he waits for Asher who went to pay up.
He was hugging Alondria’s waist as she wrapped her hands around his head.
You almost died of heart attack, Jared teased.
How did you know that when you were barely conscious? Alondria asked
Because you kept calling me in my dream, you were crying,I never knew I was that important to you.
Smiling Alondria pulled his hand out of her waist and sat beside him then took his hands.
I would have died if you didnt make it, she said sincerely.
Don’t say that, your mom will…
She won’t get me another Jared, you know, but don’t let her hear this, Alondria whispered with a grin.
On one condition, Jared replied with a smirk.

Londria! Scarlet half yelled running into the room.
She got to Alondria and began inspecting her body, look what that bastard did to you, she complained as she saw the treated bruises on Alondria’s body.
Alondria only smiled as she allowed her turn her around like a child who’s mother is checking if she played in school.
Why didnt you let me go with her,I would have protected my best friend,she cried facing Asher.
But the three occupants of the room weren’t peacemakers, they bust into laughter.
Well you ran for your dear life leaving your friend behind when those men come for me, Alondria teased.
I wasn’t running… I just wanted to… I wanted to get help, yes help, Scarlet replied fiddling with her hair.
You were getting help hiding behind Alondria’s car like a puppy, Asked mocked.
You jerk! She yelled pouncing on him, you are never on my side,i h@të you!
She’s crazy, Jared muttered with a smile as Alondria helped him up.
They are both crazy, She replied as she led him to the car.
Soon Asher was running out with Scarlet chasing him.
They got to the house and Alondria went to prepare food for her husband with Scarlet who kept talking.
Alondria was totally lost that she barely listened to her friends tale
She was thinking about Williams.

After we left Harry’s hide out, Justin drive out alone while Asher took Jared to the hospital.
I couldn’t go with them.
I couldn’t even think straight, as Sarah drove me home.
In case you are wondering, Sarah never betrayed us.
Few weeks back, Sarah was at my house, I called her to show her my progress and letting her in on my plans but we didnt have the chance to talk about how to talk much because she had to leave.
I had gathered all the evidences i needed which i was showing to Justin before the commotion with Jared and Sarah happened.
We had to pause as we all got distracted with the happenings.
But when Harry finally saw me, we knew it was time, he would definitely be planning something and we had to be way ahead of him.
If we followed his lead, we might end up shooting the wrong people, and we all will surely go to jail.
We had to make him take the lead but on our terms.
Our plan and strategy.
That was when Sarah called and volunteered to do it, she was going to meet him and pretend like she wants to fix things.
Using her divorce, it was easy to get Harry into believing Justin cheated on her with me then left her afterwards which is why she wants revenge.
Harry was more gullible than I expected, he took the bait and Sarah led him to my new home.
It wouldn’t have seemed convincing to him if I didnt fight back, especially if I didnt fight Sarah
We both fought and when I noticed she was getting tired I allowed her beat me to pulp then they bundled me.
She still had to keep up with the act because Harry was smart, he would definitely be watching her somehow.
He fell into our trap and we caught him without shedding innocent blood, all the evidence Jared gathered and mine will be submitted to the police tomorrow.
We finally got rid of our one big enemy, I thought I was going to be happy but I’m not.
This was supposed to give me joy, we all got our revenge in the most easiest way but I’m not excited.
How the hell did I not see the signs back then?
How could Fred lie to me, I trusted him.
All because of my carelessness my son had to live a life of torture, hatred…
Even without knowing me he already h@tës me, how do I go about it?
Even Justin won’t want to talk to me.
He couldn’t even look at me.
My phone rang and I quickly picked it up when I saw my daughters name.
I didnt bother to pretend or wipe my tears,I only sniffed before clicking the answer button.
? Mom? her low voice came from the other end.
Mom are you crying?
? My child, I called breaking down in tears.
? Its okay mom, I know this is hard for you.
? Its my fault Dria, I wasn’t smart enough.
? Its not your fault mom, I’m sure Williams knows that too, he knows you would have been a better mother to him of you had the chance.
Mother? Williams? I heard from the background and I knew it was Scarlet.
? I don’t know Dria, do you think he would talk to me? He must h@të me.
? I can talk to him for you, I’m sure he will understand, she assured me and I nodded like a child forgetting she won’t see me.
Father…. hum Justin… is he with you? She asked and I shook my head.
? Mom?
? No Dria, I’m sure he’s pissed, he probably h@tës me now, I kept the pregnancy away from him, I feel like a bad person.
*You aren’t a bad person and I don’t h@të you, I heard from the door turning swiftly, I saw Justin standing right before me with a beautiful flower on his hands.
Justin?
Why didn’t you tell me, he asked, you know I would have married you instead, He whispered wiping my tears.
I wanted to… but then Sarah.. I came back and found out Sarah was pregnant too and she already told you, I didnt want to be a kill joy.
You can’t be a kill joy Barbie, you know that,I wouldn’t have allowed you marry that Fred guy if I knew!
But Sarah…
Can you take a stop and think about yourself sometimes?

You are not angry that I kept him from you? I asked looking into his ears to detect his true feelings.
I don’t know how I should feel about this but I understand that you probably were left with no other alternative, if there is anyone who should be feeling sad or angry then its you, you didn’t not ask for any of this yet you still had to bear it alone, I’m super proud of you, I’m sure Williams too feels the same way.
What if…
No what ifs… Williams will come around, we can organize a welcome party for him, to welcome him into the family,what do you think?

I didn’t want him to continue, I might not be able to keep my emotions in check if he keeps being this sweet to me.
He smiled then handed me the flowers staring into my eyes as I blushed.
I dropped the flower on the table and faced him
I should go then.. I will see you… before he could finish I grabbed him by the collar
What are you doing? he asked sounding a bit nervous.
Caring about my own feeling too, I replied in a husky tone as I pulled him closer to me not breaking eye contact with him before slamming my lips on his as I kissed him with no care in the world.
His lips tasted sweet, just like always.
Oh, How I missed him.
Mom? We heard from the door as we quickly pulled away from each other.
Eli? i called nervously.
How did I forget he was in his room just now?
You kissed? He yelled surprising me.
Yaah! i heard from my phone lying on the table.
Eli is that true?
Mom is that why you both were silent? Alondria’s voice rang from the phone.
Dria? Elliot called running over to pick up the abandoned phone call.
I totally forgot about her.

Jesus! Turn off the phone now Eli!
No mom, Eli replied sticking his tongue out.
Give the phone to mom, I heard Alondria say.
I took the phone from him with a glare.
?Jared and I will go talk to Williams tomorrow, we will get back to you afterwards, she said in a calm tone.
? Thanks Dria, I replied then hung up quickly when I noticed I was alone.
Why did Eli take Justin to??? I thought rushing out.
There they sat in the garden, discussing and laughing.
Not wanting to disturb their bond, I stood and watched them from a far.
