I brought out my phone and snapped it.The man in the picture looks like Alex a lot.Who is he to me?Mom said dad is dead but somehow i don’t believe.
I was lost in thought when I heard mom’s voice
“Am home tracy”she called and my eyes darted in surprise
I looked around the room which was scattered already,what am I going to do now?
“Tracy”she called again and her voice was louder than before.
In a swift,I put the picture where it was,I rearranged the bedspread.It seems better than before.
“Welcome home”I said as soon as I got to the living room
“How was the cleaning”she asked
“It didn’t go well”I muttered
“I don’t understand”
I narrated all that happened to her
“What the hell is wrong with her mom?”
“I don’t blame her,she was trying to protect her daughter from a commoner like me”
“What’s wrong with being a commoner?we are created equally”
I broke down in tears.If only I have a dad?If only I was born in a rich family?
“It’s okay,she just chased a gold from her daughter’s life”mom said trying to pacify me
“What kind of person was my dad?”
She gripped in shock before covering it up it a smile
“He is a kind person,caring,jovial.He is the best husband ever”
“Is?is dad still alive?”I asked
“I mean he was a nice person”she answered quickly
“I’m sad I didn’t get to meet him”
She hugged me tightly making me smile

Crystal pov♥
I stared at the gigantic building in front of me
Gavin was right,the school building is two times bigger than the school I attended before.
I looked around not looking at where I was going to then i bumped into someone.I shut my eyes tightly expecting myself to land on the floor but i felt nothing making me open my eyes.
My gaze locked with a pair of bright blue eyes,I flapped my lashes not looking away
“Are you okay?”the boy asked
“Yeah,I am”I answered letting out a smile nervously
“You should watch where you are going to,a pretty damsel like you should be careful so as not to get hurt”
I blushed looking away
“Thanks a lot”
“Am Alex”he said offering his hand for a handshake
“Am Crystal”I replied receiving his hand
“A new student,welcome to BHS”he uttered with a wink making my heart melt.
I felt butterflies in my belly,is this love at first sight?
“What grade are you in”he added
“Grade twelve”I drawled
“Same with me,let’s go hun”
He linked hands with mine making me feel spark.Crystal you can’t fall in love with someone you don’t know that much.

“This is our class and our first subject is….
“History”I interrupted making him smile
“I have to go now”he said ruffling my hair
I scanned the whole class and all eyes fell on me but I cared less.My eyes caught an empty seat and I walked towards it.
As i got closer,I saw the tracy girl.The one who like popcorn,the One I met when I was taking a walk around the estate.
“Hii”she greeted first making my eyes beam
She remembers me
“Hey”I answered taking a seat behind her
“You still recognize me,I’m honored”I added
“Your picture and other informationabout you was posted on the school group chat and I recognized you immediately,you are Crystal Barry right?”
“Yeah,and you are Tracy”
“Welcome to BHS”she said
“I was even thinking the school would be like heaven with golden walls,floors as my brother described but here I am”I said with an eye roll making her laugh
“d@mn,you are sassy”
“That’s my middle name”I retorted and we both laughed
“Tracy”the girl beside her called but she did not reply
“So how do you see BHS,are you aware of the mathematics test and party coming up tomorrow”she asked me ignoring the girl
“Who the hell does that?test and party?the same day?”
“BHS can do it”she replied and I laughed
A teacher came in putting and hold to the chitchat.The students comported themselves and she started teaching history.I guess dad already told the principal that I don’t need any introduction.I really h@të attention.
I turned to look at the girl beside Tracy,what could she had done for Tracy to ignore her?I looked around and my gaze locked with Alex who winked at me.The wink alone set my heart racing fast.
Sophie pov?
I tried my best in holding back my tears.Tracy don’t wanna reply me and it f***ing hurts.It feels like my heart was shattered into pieces as she played with the new girl,Crystal or wh@tëver her name is called.
I buried my head on my desk throughout the the class not listening to the teacher.

I raised my head immediately the teacher left the class,I’ll try to talk to her again
“Tracy”I called and she turned to stare at me with an expressionless face.
It broke my heart
“Any problem?”she asked in a cold tone breaking my heart even more.
