I was still contemplating on the next step to take, when Stevo’s call came in.
Stevo: Hello Debby baby
Deborah: Stevo, why are you calling me?
I told you the last time that I didn’t want to see your call.
Afterall you have done your worst, what else do you want?
Stevo: I haven’t started yet.
That’s just a bit of my plan.
Let me tell you that the guy that came to the hotel to show Olamide the picture is one of my guy.
He is the one I asked to take our picture in the hotel that day.
Deborah: I know already that you are behind it, you just wished to ruin my life.
And I won’t sit down and fold my hands while you do that.

What should I do now?
I am deep in thought.
Firstly if I reject his offer, he might do something worse than this.
How would I face the shame from everyone on campus who already knew me as a rich man’s daughter.

We are done with our second semester examination and we went on a two weeks holiday, then we resumed back to school.
On this fateful day I was coming back from the lecture room and I was heading to the hostel when a guy approached me.
He introduced himself as Tunji.
He asked me to be his girlfriend, which I agreed to.
The guy has a lot of money and he is using the latest car.
He promised to get me a new apartment and a car.
Soldiers go, soldiers come.
It was that same day I heard that Stevo was killed when he went on an operation to rob with his men in one of the bank in town
I was so happy, I felt at ease.
I mumbled to myself, Debby, you can now rest and enjoy yourself.
I still have #5,000 with me.
I took my friends out and we went to the school restaurant.
We enjoyed ourselves.
They kept wondering why I was so happy but I didn’t tell them anything.

My birthday??????
I was so happy that I would be celebrating my 20th birthday.
The day started with the beautiful wishes of my parents and friends.
I have started getting birthday wishes from my friends and relatives as the clock strikes 12 in the night.
My boyfriend was the first person to call me.
He ordered a big cake for me and bought wrapping paper along with birthday present.
He also ordered food from a restaurant which my friends served everyone.
But he was unable to attend the party.
We had a lot of enjoyment, danced to different songs.
My day was going great so far until I received a call at around four in the afternoon.
I saw the number and it was my boyfriend.
He told me to wait for him beside the road, so that he could come and pick me up.
He said we are going to different places to celebrate my birthday.
I was so happy, I dressed in my new beautiful gown and waited for him on the road.
Few minutes later a car parked beside me, it was a blue Toyota Camry.
The guy said my boyfriend told him to come and pick me up.
So I entered the car happily.
I look around and saw two masked men in the back seat.
The car speeds down the deserted streets. Then everything goes dark as he whine up the window.
I cried for help.
When they see that my noise was becoming too much, they tied up my hands, gagged my mouth and blindfolded me.
I struggled to get my hands untied.
I used all my strength to breaks free but it was hopeless.
I was driven off to an unknown destination.
I realize that I have a bag over my head. “Oh my god, I’m being kidnapped!”
