Ocean stayed in a corner of her room crying her eyes out, she has been locked up in her room since her dad’s burial ceremony.
“Ara, Ocean, please open the door” Quincy yelled from outside holding a tray of food in her hands.
“I made your favourite, please open the door, Ocean don’t do something stup*d” Quincy pleaded with tears in her eyes.
Ocean stared at the bottle of pills in front, she held it in her hand and smiled. .
She hid the bottle under her pillow and wiped her tears away, she sniffed and exhaled before climbing down the bed and heading to the door.
She opened the door and Quincy smiled.
“Finally, you opened up, you got me feeling scared” Quincy said, Ocean let her in.
“Come in” Ocean faked a smile, Quincy entered, she walked to the bed and dropped the tray on it.
“I prepared your favourite, you would love it” Quincy smiled and Ocean suddenly hugged her.
“I love you so much Quincy I love you more than you can ever imagine, thanks for always being there for me” Ocean cried hugging her so tight, Quincy couldn’t hardly breath.
“I love you too my friend, you mean everything to me, you are my world, you always defended me, we go a long way, Ara, You came as a scared bunny and I became the only best friend you could share all your problems with, we even picked your new name Ocean’ together, I love you too, I love you a lot “Quincy sobbed embracing her back.
“Calm and turbulent “Quincy smiled.
” You were that only person that stayed by my side that understood my weird and unbearable aggressive attitude and behaviour, only you walked up to me and talked to me like a sister”Ocean said and broke the tight hug.
She held Quincy’s face.
” I will never forget you, the times you were there for me, the times we cried, laughed, watched football together, fought over wrestling matches and most handsome wrestlers and basketball players, I will never forget it, thank you” Ocean cried and hugged her and squeezed her into her arms.
Quincy became confused, they were hugging like this was their last hug.
“I love you babe, I will never forget you either, but why are you saying all these to me?” Quincy asked confusedly.
“Nothing, I want to vent out a lot of things, I haven’t said for a long time because I couldn’t tell dad how much I loved him,” Ocean sobbed in her palms.
“Hush, don’t cry please” Quincy begged, it hurt her so much to see her friend this way.
“When you hurt, I hurt too, when you cry, my heart cries out a million times, you don’t deserve these things, you deserve to be happy” Quincy cried and pulled her into her arms.
“You deserve all the happiness in the world because you are a good person, you are a good friend” Quincy said with tears flooding her face, she kissed Ocean’s ears that were so red, because of the force she used in crying.
Quincy broke the hug and brought Ocean’s palms down.
“Babe that’s enough, no more crying” Quincy smiled and wiped Ocean’s tears with her thumb.
“Yes, no more crying or pain” Ocean smiled strangely.
“Eat your food it’s delicious” Quincy sniffed.
“Or should I feed you?” Quincy asked and both of them laughed.
“No, I am fine, you should continue with your work I promise to eat” Ocean smiled.
Quincy nodded.
“You promise”
“Pinky promise,” Ocean smiled.

“We are so happy that you are awake mom ” Roxana smiled, staying closer to Vikita.
“I can imagine darling, sorry for making you worried” Vikita apologised.
“Are you crazy mom?, don’t talk like that,” Rosa pouted.
“I am sure you didn’t miss me,” Vikita replied.
“Mom, stop, I might be a bad girl at times”.
“You are a bad girl,” Roxana interrupted.
“Shut up,”Rosa yelled.
” I am a bad girl, I know but I love you mom and no matter how you are usually harsh with me and nicer to Roxana, I still love you “Rosa muttered genuinely.
” Come here “Vikita smiled, Rosa moved to her and she hugged her.
” I love you too my girl”Vikita smiled and broke the hug.
Marcello came in with Nikita in his arms.
“My Niki!!!” Vikita yelled, Marcello took Nikita to her and they hugged.
“I miss you my Nikita” She laughed and kissed her cheek.
“Your cheeks are more chubby than ever” Vikita laughed and pulled her cheeks.
“Grandma, My prayer was answered, you are awake now, though I have been a bad girl recently but he forgave me and made you fine,” Nikita muttered cutely.
“My Niki, that’s so,so,thoughtful of you my love” Vikita smiled broadly.
She was happy with this much love around her.
Marcello gave Vikita to Roxana.
“You are heavy” Roxana complained and Nikita laughed.
“I was so worried, I am delighted that you are awake” Marcello smiled and they embraced each other.
He loves her a lot, he loves like a mother, she has always been there for him, until he had to share her with Rhett, that made him extremely angry and jealous.
Rhett walked in and Vikita didn’t notice him because her eyes were closed, holding him so warmly.
Rhett was a bit sad when saw them, sometimes he felt it had always been Marcello.
“Mom,”Rhett called.
Vikita flickered her eyes open, a broad, surprised smile on her face.
” Rhett “Vikita yelled in happiness.
Marcello broke the hug and moved away.
” My baby “Vikita laughed, Rhett walked to her and she hugged him tightly like he was going to disappear.
” I missed you so much, My baby, you stayed away for so long , I couldn’t contact you, your dad refused to let me have your number, I always had you in my mind and in my heart… , i swear, it wasn’t my fault, I wished many times to call you and ask you how you were?,… How you felt?… , If you ate?, If you have a fever or you are hurt?,…. I am so sorry “Vikita said crying on his shoulder.
” I missed you more, mom “Rhett smiled.
Marcello stood there watching in jealousy, he wanted happiness. He is an adult now but can’t change his feelings towards their closeness.
” I love you “She smiled.
Rhett was about to say something but felt a sudden pain in his heart.
He tried to wave it off but the pain increased.
” Ah”He groaned loudly as it seemed like a knife was pierced into his heart.
“Rhett” Vikita muttered worriedly and pulled away from the hug.
Rhett held his chest in pain.
“My chest” He yelped loudly.
“Rhett stop being an attention seeker” Marcello sneered.
“Bro. What’s up” Rosa asked.
“Ahhh” Rhett screamed louder , with tears forcing their way out of his eyes.
“Rhett what’s wrong with you?” Vikita asked anxiously.
Before a blink of an eye Rhett was on the floor groaning in pain.
“Uncle Rhett” Nikita cried and buried her face in Roxana’s chest.
“Rhett, calm down” Marcello said seeing it wasn’t a joke.
“Ahhh” He cried loudly.
“Rhett” Vikita sobbed.
“Mom, don’t move,” Roxana said.
Their voices echoed in Rhett’s ears and he passed out.
“Bro… , Rhett” Rosa called but his eyes were closed.
“Go call the doctor” Marcello said and Rosa ran out of the room.

“I swear I have been knocking on her door for minutes and she hasn’t opened or responded” Quincy cried to Eugene.
Eugene walked hastily to the door and used his feet to hit the door.
He did this thrice and the door forced opened.
They walked in.
Ocean was lying on the floor with scattered pills on the floor and white foam coming out of the side of her mouth.
“Arabella !!!!” Quincy screamed, Eugene was shocked.
He ran to her and knelt on the floor. ..
He checked her pulse.
“I can’t feel her pulse,” Eugene said, scared.
Quincy’s eyes filled with hot tears.
“Ocean” Quincy cried…
