On his way, he called Ethan and explained the whole thing to him. He sent him her number, so that he can track her down. He arrived at his house and walked in, Ethan took him to the room, while his laptop and stuff were.
When Henderson arrived at Ethan’s house, the cops were already at the road while the incident happened, they carried the dead bodies and began to mark and take some necessary notes down.
“Did you track her down?” Henderson asked. “I couldn’t her phone were switched off” He said, Henderson hit the desk in disappointed.
“Chill man. I promise we will get her out, wherever she is.” Ethan said, Henderson sat down rubbing his forehead furiously.
“She’s all i have. The only family i have” Henderson said. “I know, i totally understand, please let’s take things easy okay” Ethan said and pat his right shoulder, his head were buried on the floor.
Ethan squat beside him, “Henderson, everything will be fine” He said, he raised his chin and gave a painful smile.
“I have been hearing this words always, but nothing is okay. It always from one problem to other” Henderson snapped.
“Henderson this is life, there will be problems. What’s life without problems?” Ethan said.
“There will be problems. We have to be brave to face it. To fight ’em” Ethan added..
“Can i get a whiskey?” He asked. “Nah, not today” He replied.
“Am not trying to get myself drunk, i want to calm myself down. It’s okay if you don’t want to” He said and fixed his eyes on the laptop screen.
Ethan stood up and went to get the whiskey, he brought two glass cup. He opened the bottle and poured the content on the glass, they cheer up and sip from it.
“How’s Amelia doing?” He asked. “I can’t tell bro, she might be crying” He replied.
“I don’t like seeing her that way. She is not supposed to go through this Sh|t with me” He added..
“Am sorry bout it okay. Everything will be okay” Ethan said. He nods and sip from the glass in his hand.
2HOURS LATER
Henderson left Ethan’s house when he had a call from the police station, although Ethan wanted to come with him, but he asked to stay at home track her down. He agreed with him. Henderson arrived at the police station, he was given a seat and he sat down.
“Good evening your highness He greeted. “Good evening officer” He replied.
“I and my team went to the road, where the incident happened. We found out that the cars belongs to you. And according to our search these guys have been monitoring her moves, that’s why they were able to kill the bodyguards and the driver. We saw a handkerchief on the floor, which contains a substance”
“What you do mean?”
“That substance was able to make her pass out” He replied.
“Okay. Are you making any search for her” He asked. “We are looking forward to that” The officer replied.
“Alright, thanks” He said and shook hands with the inspector. He left the police station and got to his car and drove off.
While Henderson was away, Richard came around and they get to talk more about his school and because of this incident, he told the driver not to take him to school until everything is resolved.
Thirty minutes later, he arrived at the palace. He walked to the bedroom, Amelia who has been sobbing didn’t realize that he was in the room. He moved to her, she was sitting on the sofa. He hugged her, she turned and perceived his perfume, she placed her arms on his. He kissed her neck.
“Have you eaten?” He asked, she shook her head negatively. He left her back and squat in her front.
“Why?” He asked. “I don’t feel like eating anything” She replied.
“You don’t like what the maids cooked?” He asked. “Not that, i don’t have the appetite” She replied.
“Am sorry i left without telling you where i was heading to” He apologized.
“I know you were doing what’s right” She replied. “Did you get to hear from grandma?”
“No! Ethan is trying to track her. And i got a call from cops, it will fine” He said. “I saw it while watching TV, i saw the news. The blood on the road…Shh” He cut her off and pulls her into a hug.
“Don’t think about that okay.” He said, she nods.
“Was that the reason you didn’t want to eat? Huh?” He asked, softly. She nods her head again.
“It’s okay honey. Grandma is fine okay. And am here with you” He whispered.
“Lemme tell the maids to bring the food here” He said. “For us?” She questioned, staring him.
He smiled, “Yeah. For us” He replied. “Okay..” She said. He brought out his phone and called the maid. He told her to bring the food in his bedroom amd hang up.
“Before the maid would come with the food, i need to freshen up. If am not out yet, please eat i will join you when am out” He said and kissed her cheek. He went to the bathroom. The maids came with the food, they greeted her with bow, she responded and they left it on the table and then left.
When Henderson returns to the bedroom, he noticed that she hasn’t uncovered the food.
“What’s wrong?” He asked. “Am waiting for you” She replied.
“I told you to eat, i will join you” He said and changed into his night wear. He sat down on the sofa. She then uncovered the food took the spoon, she gave him his.
“Eat.” He muttered. She nodded like a kid and began to eat, she has taken three spoons of the food and then looked at Henderson who was just staring at her with a smile on his face.
“Please eat..” She said to him. He took a spoon of the rice and ate. “It’s delicious..” She said.
“Yeah..” He replied. He a little and left the rest for her, she finished up the meal, he called the maid and she carried out the dishes.
He took her to the bathroom. “I will do it myself” She muttered.
“Alright, am waiting” He replied and left the bathroom. She gave soft sigh and then untied the towel, she dropped it and turn on the shower.
He was disappointed, but he’s glad that the love of his life is here with him, even though she haven’t come out of the bathroom yet.
Five minutes later, she came out of the bathroom and walk to the wardrobe to get her night wears.
“It’s here” He uttered, she stopped and walked to him. “Thank you.” She mumbled and collected the night wears from him.
“Your pant” He said, still holding it. She didn’t know that he had both on his hand, she turned to him and quickly grabbed and walked to the wardrobe, he returned his gaze on his phone. She wore her night wear and laid on the bed. Soon he joined her.
“I prayed that grandma is okay” She mumbled. “Me too, I can’t imagine losing her” He replied and pulled her into his arms.
“Grandma will be okay. The cops are on it”
“Who is responsible for this?” She asked. He sighed softly and kissed her neck. “You should have some sleep, it’s late already” He replied.
“What about Richard’s school?” Amelia asked.
“He won’t be going to school until everything is settled.” He replied, she looked at him.
“What..?” He asked. “Nothing, i love the idea” She mumbled.
“Yeah. I want everyone to be safe. And i promise you that grandma will be fine” He said. “Com’on get some sleep” He added and cuddled her up. Soon they slept off.
