RED’S CLAN***
Valerie opened her eyes, she looked beside her to find the other side empty.
She sat up, rubbing her face gently. She looked around the room which was very bright as a result of the sun emanating from the window into the room.
She got down from the bed and walked to the door. She held the doorknob and twisted it, luckily it opened.
A ‘wow’ escaped her lips as she walked around the clan. She smiled when she saw some guys training at a side she guessed at the training ground.
Different weapons could be found there, she watched them for a while before finally leaving there.
She was still taking a tour around when three girls suddenly appeared before her.
“Who are you? How did you get here?” Chloe asked.
“I’m Valerie, and…”
“You a spy? Get her!” Chloe ordered.
The two girls grabbed Valerie immediately, they forced her to go on her knees.
“Hey, let me go. You can just treat me anyhow you like” Valerie said.
Chloe brought out a gun from her pocket and aimed it at her.
“We’ll send your body to your Boss. You came to the wrong place” she placed her hand on the trigger about to shoot.
“Wait Chloe, don’t you think we need to show her to the Boss? Or Andres?” Ivy asked.
Chloe rolled her eyes.
“What if that’s too late? Besides, Fernando won’t complain if I get rid of her” she said.
“Hey, I’m not a spy, okay? I’m….” Valerie stopped when she did not what to say.
“See, she’s not talking. She’s a spy!” Chloe exclaimed.
“I already told you I’m not a spy, what else do you want me to say?” Valerie asked.
” You’re so senseless to think I’m a spy. Would a spy be walking in a day broad light?” She asked.
“That’s true though” Anna, the third girl said.
Chloe stare at Valerie in anger. The fact that she was right was enough to make her mad.
“What’s going on here?” Fernando asked, his eyes on Valerie who’s on her knees.
Valerie quickly turned to look at him, she breathes out in relief. At least, he’s here.
“Fernando, she’s a spy. You should kill her” Chloe spoke out.
“Is that why you want to kill her yourself?” He asked.
“I just said she’s a spy” Chloe said.
“And who gave you the right to eliminate anyone you see in this clan? You’re not the boss here, so mind your actions”
Chloe swallowed hard.
“She’s my woman, she’s mine and no one else dare hurt her in this clan” Fernando said authoritatively.
Valerie could swear she saw Chloe’s face changed immediately.
Fernando grabs Valerie’s hands and drags her out of the place.
“The Boss woman?” Ivy asked surprisingly.
Chloe folds her fist tight, staring daggers at Valerie’s retreating figure.

Fernando released Valerie’s hand roughly from his to the extent that she almost fell.
“Who asked you to leave the room?” He yelled.
Valerie bit her lips.
“I,, I…. I just needed some fresh air” she mumbled.
“I’m sorry” she said.
Her stomach made a funny sound, she quickly looked at him, embarrassed.
“What’s that sound?” Fernando asked.
“Er… A rat? A rat maybe” she muttered, smiling nervously.
Fernando chuckled. Valerie stared at him in shock, did he just laugh? She wouldn’t deny that he looked cute while he laughs.
“Are you hungry?” He asked but got no reply. She’s lost staring at his face.
“Why are you looking at me that way?” He asked.
“You should laugh more often, you look more cute that way” she muttered.
Fernando cleared his throat.
“Stop spitting out nonsense. Go and have your bath, your breakfast will be brought to you” he said.
“I don’t have anything to wear” she mumbled
“I’ll ask someone to bring some clothes to you” he said before leaving the room.
Valerie exhaled loudly before going to the bathroom to have a bath.

Alex approached Fernando immediately he saw him coming out of his room.
“Boss” he bowed when he got to him.
“Is there anything?” Fernando asked.
“I found where Mrs. Zimmerman’s daughter works” Alex said.
“Where?”
“She works at Barricade bar” Alex said.
“Get her for me immediately” Fernando said.
“Yes, Boss” Alex bowed and left immediately.
“Your daughter will be the one to pay for your crimes” Fernando said to himself.

BARRICADE BAR***
Jade held Valerie’s phone in her hand, staring at it occasionally. She couldn’t still believe it that Valerie never returned yesterday.
“Should I report a missing case to the cops?” She mumbled.
“I think that’s the best thing” she said.
She made up her mind to go to the cops by noon when she’s free.

A While Later**
Alex entered the bar, his eyes searching around till the landed on Jade. He smiled before walking to her.
“Good day” he greeted.
“Good morning, sir. How can I help you?” Jade asked.
“You’re Mrs. Zimmerman’s daughter, right?” He asked.
Jade gasped.
“How did you know? Do you know where she is? She just told me and my brother to leave our house without telling us the reason. I haven’t reached her for a while now, do you know where she is?” She gasped, looking at him expectantly.
“Well, yeah. She’s at our place and she’s asking to see you” Alex said.
“Really? Too bad, I’m busy right now” she mumbled.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that. Where’s your boss?” He asked.
She directed him to his office and he went to meet the manager. He returned with the manager beside him
“You’re free to go, Jade”
“Thank you, sir” Jade smiled before leaving the bar with Alex.
“How did you find my mom? Are you sure she’s at your place?” She asked.
“You talk too much, miss” Alex said when they got to the car.
Jade felt something amiss when she entered the car, her eyes widened when she saw a gun on the chair.
“A gun? Help! I’ve been kidn….”
Alex quickly placed a handkerchief on her nose, she lost her consciousness immediately.
He placed her on the back seat before driving out of the bar.

RED’S CLAN***
Valerie came out of the bathroom in Fernando’s towel. Like he said, she met a cloth on the bed, her food was also on the table.
She dressed up before taking her breakfast. After she was done, she sat on the bed, looking bored.
She suddenly wished to go outside but then, she remembered his words.
She sighed.
“I just want to take a little walk, he wouldn’t see me cos I’ll make sure to avoid him”
She stood up from the bed and left the room. She walked around, looking everywhere trying to make sure Fernando did not see her.
She bumped into Andres, she smiled when she saw him.
“Handsome” she said
“Hi, what are you doing outside? Why are you looking around?” Andres asked.
“I just came to get some fresh air, but he asked me not to leave the room” she pouts.
Andres chuckled.
“So, you were watching out for him?” He asked and she nodded.
“You’re actually stubborn”
Valerie smiled.
“I know, right?” She said.
“Did he agree for you to go home?” He asked.
“No, he almost killed me again last night. I wouldn’t lie, I’m scared of him” she muttered
“Did you do something again?”
“Yea…” She bit her lips.
“I kicked his balls” she said.
Andres gasped.
“What?”
“He tried to force himself on me, I just did that to defend myself”
Andres laughed.
“You’re really brave, no girl has ever done that to Fernando and go scot free”
“I almost didn’t though” she mumbled.
“I’m sorry, you had to end up this way” he said.
“Stop making me feel bad” she said.
Andres nodded in understanding. He moved closer to her and placed his hand on her hair.
“Don’t worry, I promise to help you in any way I can. Don’t hesitate to tell me anything, okay?”
Valerie nodded with a smile.
“Should we take a stroll together?” He asked.
“Sure” they turned to continue their stroll but met a pair of blues eyes staring at them angrily.
