“Why acting surprised? You should know Arturo by now, he never takes few men with him. I just guessed the number cos Arturo takes men above twenty. So, were there thirty men?” Andres asked.
“Yea” Fernando stood up and starts pacing around the room.
“Arturo must have known I was on my way, that means someone must have tip him off. I wonder who dare tries to betray me, there’s truly a spy like Don said. Andres, you should work on that, find out the spy in the clan” Fernando said.
“Sure, this is really getting out of hand. Will you tell Don about what happened today?” Andres asked.
“No, this is between he and I. Don wasn’t part of this Sh|t in the first place” Fernando said.
Andres nodded in understanding.
“And her? What are you going to do about her?” He asked, referring to Valerie.
“What do you mean?” Fernando asked.
“This is not the right place for her and you know that. Send her away before it’s too late, she’ll end up being in more danger if she’s being close to you. Don and Arturo must not know about this or else she’d be used as a bait to eliminate you” Andres said.
Fernando glanced at Valerie.
“Fernando, I know you, this shouldn’t be a big deal for you, right?” Andres asked.
“Fine, you’re right. I should distance myself from her but I’m not sending her away” Fernando said.
“Fern….”
“My head is in a mess right now, let’s talk later” Fernando cuts him off.
Andres sighs before leaving the room
Fernando stare at Valerie with many thoughts in his head.
“Andres is right, this is for the best” he muttered.

ARTURO’S HIDEOUT***
“What!! You mean he eliminated all the men??!” Arturo yelled immediately he received the information that Fernando defeated all his men.
“Yes, Boss. When I got there, I met all their dead bodies, not even a single soul is alive”
Arturo banged his fist on the table hardly, his eyes held a deadly gaze in it.
“Fernando, you little boy” he gritted his teeth
“Wanna show me you aren’t that kid anymore?” He smirked. He faced the guy
“Call him and let me know his latest moves. Tell him to tell me every single thing he does” he commanded.
“Yes, Boss” the guy bowed his head before taking his leave.
Arturo bent and picked a picture from the table, he smirked.
“Don’t worry, he’s going to join you both soon” he let out a evil laugh.

CAMILA’S ROOM***
Camila was busy pressing her phone when Jade entered the room.
“Hi, is Val back yet?” Jade asked.
“Yea, but she got injured. I really need to know what happened, how did she and the Boss got hurt?” Camila mumbled.
“Valerie was wounded? Where?” Jade asked.
“She was shot on her leg, thankfully it wasn’t a big deal” Camila muttered.
“Where’s she right now? I really need to see her” Jade said.
“She’s in the Boss’s room, you sho…” Jade was already out of the room before she could finish her sentence.
“I wanted to tell her to be careful with the Boss cos he seems to be in a bad mood” Camila mumbled to herself.
“But, wait a second….” She suddenly stood up, she put her finger in her mouth as if she’s in a deep thought.
“Arturo killed Luis and sent a letter to the Boss, he went there only to be ambushed?”
She clicks her finger.
“Yes, that’s it! It was a trap and the Boss fell into it, and Valerie happened to be the victim. Thankfully, they’re both fine” she muttered.
“I really wish to see this Füçking bulldog and blow his head off, MotherFüçking bastard!” She growled.

Fernando was by the window smoking as usual when Jade barged into his room without knocking, she was so worried to even think of knocking before she entered.
She rushed to where Valerie laid and gasped, seeing the bandage on her leg.
“Val, how did you get hurt?” She whispered.
“Didn’t you learn how to knock?” Fernando asked.
Jade raised her head and was shocked to see him, when did he get here?
“You didn’t even acknowledge my presence, is that how mannerless you are?”
Jade scoffed inwardly.
“I’m sorry, I was just so worried” she muttered.
“Do what you’re here for and get out of my room” Fernando said, staring outside the window.
“Rude a*shole” Jade mumbled.
She faced Valerie and touched her cheeks gently.
“Why’d you get yourself hurt?” She scolded.
Valerie opened her eyes, she smiled immediately she saw Jade.
“Jade, why are you here?” She asked.
“Why won’t I be here when you’re here wounded?” Jade asked back.
Valerie smiled lightly.
“I’m sorry” she said.
“How’s you leg? Does it hurts?” Jade asked.
“No, not that much. Where’s Ferdie?” Valerie asked.
“Ferdie? You mean Fernando?” Jade asked and she nodded.
Jade gestured her to look at the window, Valerie did to see Fernando staring at them.
“How’s your arm?” She asked.
“I’m fine, you should leave since you’re awake” Fernando said.
Valerie was taken aback by his aloof nature. What has suddenly gotten into him again?
“Let’s leave here, Val. You can rest in my room”Jade said.
“You should go first, I’ll join you” Valerie said.
“Huh?” Jade glanced at Fernando before looking at her, she nodded awkwardly.
“Okay” she left the room.
“Did you found out the person who sent the men? Was it Artuo?” Valerie asked.
“Stop being nosy and take your leave” Fernando said, still not giving her a glance.
“Did something happened while I was asleep?” She asked, she stood up and limped towards him since she’s still feeling pains in her legs.
Fernando threw the cigarettes away before facing her.
“Stop trying to know everything, you ended up getting hurt because of that. Get out Valerie, I need to clear my head” he muttered, walking to the bed.
“You jerk! Is this how you’re going to act after I got wounded because of you?” Valerie suddenly yelled.
Fernando chuckled which didn’t last long before facing her.
“Because of me?? I remember warning you but you paid deaf ears to me so why this? You really need to know your place, you’re only my Füçkmate, nothing else. You’re only here to satisfy me whenever I’m hørny” he said coldly.
Valerie couldn’t believe her ears when he said that. Did he just said those words to her?
“I’m not one kind of sêx tool, you devil! And, I h@të you!” Valerie shot bitterly.
She turned in anger and tried walking to the door when she tripped and fell on her face. She had totally forgotten she was injured.
“Arghhhh!!!!” She yelped.
Fernando looked at her, he tried to go to her but suddenly controlled himself. This was the best, that was his thought.
Valerie turned to see him acting nochanlant, she bit her lips hardly before getting to her feet.
She limped to him in anger.
“You heartless beast!” She shouted when she got to his front.
She raised her hand and punched him very hard on his face.
“Don’t ever talk to me!” She glared at him before limping out of the room.
Fernando cleaned the blood on his lips with his hand.
“Arturo, don’t ever let me set my eyes on you or else….” He folds his fist tight.
