“You can’t just leave me like that. We will grow old together, we’ve alot of things to do in future. You can’t leave me like that” She mumbled and bow her head on the bed.
“Com’on! Am sorry babe” Henderson mumbled. “It’s fine.” She replied and smiled.
Ethan and Maya arrived at the palace and told her majesty the good news she was very happy. And couldn’t stop thanking God, yhe two weeks in the hospital was like 2 years.
The royal guards and the maids were happy. After telling everyone about the good news. He and Maya went back to their house, during that period that Henderson was in the hospital. He didn’t go to his house neither did Maya go.
Saanvi came back to the palace and her personal maid told her that the king is alive, she was very happy and promised to go see him again in the hospital.
Ethan gave a sigh of relief, it’s has been from one problem to another. Just he told Henderson problems will always come, we just have to brave to face them. Maya headed to her bedroom, she took her time and freshen up, before Ethan came to her.
“You’re just coming out of the bathroom” He muttered, staring her as she walks to the wardrobe to grab her wears. “Yes..” She replied with a glance.
“You’re looking hot” He muttered and moved to her, she was still searching for what to wear, when she felt his warm hands on her. He planted a kiss on her neck. “I’ve missed you..” He muttered.
“Go freshen up” She replied and realized his hands from her arms. She moved to the bed, she dropped the dress on the bed and then turn staring at her man, who couldn’t leave but stood watching her surprisingly.
“What..?” She asked. “Babe com’on don’t tell me that you didn’t miss me” Ethan mumbled, with a frown.
“We were in the palace. So….” She paused and glance at him.
“Babe com’on. So? You don’t miss me” He muttered, staring at her. “Go take your bath..” She replied.
“No! Until you tell me that you miss me. I know you do” He muttered and folded his arms. “Alright, babe I missed you. Happy?”
“You sound like someone who’s angry” Ethan said. She sighed softly and glance at the dress on the bed and then to him.
“Am hungry…” She replied, tiredly. “Is that why you had such look on your pretty face.”
“I want to see you smiling not frowning up.” He muttered and walk closer to her, he brought his face closer to hers.
“I will order for something you will eat, because I cook” He whispered softly. “What about you?” She asked.
“Me?” He questioned.
Yeah!” She replied. “I wanna eat you up” He teased her, she pushed him slightly and chuckled.
“You’re spoilt” She muttered and turned to the bed. He hugged her from behind. “How? It’s something every man tells his woman.” He said, sweetly and plant kisses on her neck.
“Don’t you want to be eaten by me?” He asked, more like whisper. She adjusted herself, until he freed her.
“Alright, i was just kidding. You’re looking so hot” He muttered with wink and smile on his face. She didn’t utter a word, she doesn’t want fall for him again, unlike what happened in the kitchen. She almost lost it.
“I wanna change” She said, when finally found her voice. “Am already on my way out. Take care” He muttered and walked out of the room. He went his room, “She’s freaky hot.
Oh com’on bro, she’s still a virgin. Don’t do anything stupid.” His inner told him as he removed his shirt.
“Yeah! I know. And she’s the one i want. But i can’t my eyes neither my mind on what i saw right now” He said, to no one in particular.
Ethan placed an order before heading to the bathroom. Some minutes later the delivery guy came and Maya who is already with her dress and sitting in the living room rushed to the door. She opened the door and met a young handsome guy standing with a smile on his face, immediately he saw her.
“Good day ma’am” He greeted and handed the stuff to her. She smiled, she was about to leave when he called her back.
“Am sorry for making you come back. I just wanted to know if you’re single” He muttered with a smile.
She chuckles, “Well i have a boyfriend. This is his house”
“Oh! He’s so lucky to have such a pretty woman in his house” The guy replied. “Yeah..thanks” She replied.
“My regards to him. He is lucky” He muttered and left waving at her, she waved back without thinking of anything. She smiled while entering back to living room and stopped immediately she saw him standing.
She cleared her throat up and continue smiling. “He likes you” Ethan muttered. “He’s just an admirer”
“I would say a crush” He replied. “He’s a nice guy. He apologized for calling me back and he asked a question so sweetly” Maya said, he rolled his eyes.
“He’s lucky that i wasn’t outside, i would have punched his face” He murmured.
“Did you say something?” She asked, looking at him.
“Did you get the stuff?” He asked, though he could see her holding it. “Yes babe, let’s eat” Maya replied, with a smile.
“No. You eat, you were the one complaining about being hungry” He replied. “So you’re not eating because i was the one complaining about hunger” Maya said.
“Don’t worry I prepare something, we will eat together. For now eat this one, I ordered it for you alone”
“I’m not eating, if you are not joining me”
“Com’on stop being a kid. Eat your food” He replied, she pouted and blink her lashes. “Am heading to the kitchen” He muttered.
“I’m coming with you” She replied. “You’re being stubborn” He said, more a scold, staring at her.
“No. You’re the one who’s stubborn” She replied. “How? Com’on babe” He muttered, confused.
“Let’s eat together.” She still insist. “You’re not hungry right?” He questioned, she looked away. He sighed softly and squat down staring at his fianceé who suddenly grown stubborn.
He chuckled and bend his face staring at the floor, Maya sat back wondering what’s going on his mind.
“Alright, Miss Maya. Let’s eat together” He replied, she smiled and he took the package to the dinner, she brought a plate and he dished out the food, he ate a little and left the rest for her. In no time he went to the kitchen and prepared soup, it’s what he wants and Maya wants the same. He finished cooking and gave Maya hers, he dished his too.
After they finished eating, Ethan headed back to the hospital. He arrived at the hospital and went to his ward, when he got there they were both asleep. He smiled and moved towards them.
Henderson opened his eyes as he heard the sound of footsteps. “What’s up man?” Ethan muttered. “Am cool bro”
“I thought you were asleep” Ethan said. “Nah. She is the one who is asleep” Henderson replied and sighed.
“Feeling pains?” He asked. Henderson shook his head, alot of thoughts were going to his head.
“Thanks for being around” He said. “That’s what am supposed to do bro. You’ve been a great friend to me” Ethan said.
“I know Amelia cried alot” Henderson mumble and took a quick look at Amelia.
“Yes. Thank goodness Maya was there, she took care of her” Ethan replied. “Thank you. If it has been just her i wonder what she would have done” Henderson mumbled.
“It’s fine. You should have some rest. I will come tomorrow morning to check on you”
“Alright, bro take care. My regards to Maya and your mom” Henderson replied and walked out of his ward.
