To say the Kira was just surprised would be an understatement. She watched Lady in Black kill the old man and seized his sword.
Another scene unfolded and Kira saw her body adapting to the new environment. She saw as Lady in Black dropped the child in front of a big building and left a name hidden in the shroud.
She rang the doorbell, turned around, and disappeared.
Kira found her strength when she realized she was running out of time.
She rose to her feet and took a heavy inhale before advancing toward the baby. She crouch before the baby and checked the name.
She gasped when she saw the name ‘Fred’.
“Why am I seeing a grim reaper’s secret in my premonition? Does that mean everyone I see in here is going to die? d@mn this! How do I save my friends” Kira cried
She started screaming so loud and trying to touch the bodies on the ground hoping to alter it in one way or the other.
She did one last scream that got the ground shaking and it split up to swallow her.
She crashed on the debris of the temblor and she groan in pain. She dust off some dirt on her and managed to stand up.
On getting a clear vision, she saw some old fairies with long white hair whispering some things and having her surrounded.
She could deduce that they are dead Banshees that lived in the past.
She tried to talk but her words were caught in her throat, they are restricting her.
“You don’t talk, you listen” a voice whispered.
“Keep the secret of a demon and your friends will be safe” another voice came followed by more chanting the same thing to her hearings.
The whispers soon start to hurt her ears which forced her to cover her ears and screamed again but this time, she screamed back to life.
Jeff covered his bleeding ear and Kira woke up finally.
“Are you back? Talk to me” Jeff pleaded.
“You’re shaking me too much I’m up!” she yelled.
“Did you just yell at me? Everything you’ve done to me tonight is enough to make up for wh@tëver I’ve done to you in the past so we are even!” Jeff said and rose to his feet.
“We need to go to the party now!” Kira said.
“Oh right, who is dying?” Jeff asked.
“Everyone if we don’t hurry,” Kira said.
“But I can’t drive and the cell phones are not working” Jeff explained.
“Oh no,” she said.
They started thinking of what to do when the lights came back on and at the same time, an idea popped up for Kira.
“I can ride you!” she blurted out.
Jeff almost choke on his saliva and he stepped back from Kira.
“The Fuçk do you think you’re saying? We don’t have time for that right now, or even forever between us!” Jeff spelled out to her loud enough.
“Ewww. What do you keep in that your dirty black mind?! I mean since you can shapeshift into anything, why don’t you try machines then you just have to take us to the party. I won’t have to drive and you won’t have to also” Kira explained.
“Wait… Oh, oh Sh|t I get it now,” he said.
“I should stay away from you, you’re scary,” she said.
“But I’ve never tried nonliving things before, I can only take on the shape and face of living things ’cause I am one,” he said.
“Just what did you see in there?” He asked her.
She hesitates for a few seconds before shaking her head “Don’t worry about that, leave it all to me” she said and snatched the phones away from his hands.
“We should keep trying it, let’s go,” she said dragging him away from the house.
They went out to flag down a taxi and she called her destination to the driver.
“Wait, why didn’t you think of taking a taxi?” she asked.
“Because I didn’t want to leave you all alone, it was your first…” he said with his eyes fixed on hers.
When the air started to get hot and uncomfortable, Jeff cleared his throat and looked away.
HANSON MANSION
Lady in Black is still talking to Freddy and they seem to be having the best time, some other students can now be seen with them.
Erik found Susan but not Haliah.
“What do you think Lady in Black is up to?” Susan asked.
“I have no idea for real… there’s nothing weird about Freddie, he’s still the same but the fact that he’s finding solace from that lady is something else” Erik explained.
“I haven’t seen Haliah anywhere near, did she tell you where she was going?” Susan asked.
“Uh? No. I haven’t seen her too… what if she went to check her room” Erik said.
“I feel bad for her, I hope she won’t run into her mother,” Susan said.
“I’ll go look for her, keep your eyes on them,” Erik said to Susan.
SOMEWHERE IN THE MANSION
The moment Haliah stepped into the summoning room, the furniture and decorative arts disappeared changing it into a dark theme of hades abode.
Haliah had never been into this room before and it surprises her that her mother can even communicate directly with Hades.
It was only the room that changed and so hades projection appeared with a satisfied groan. Haliah watched as everything changed and the guards changed to black angels. Their head is like bats and bony structures body with black wings on their back.
Her heartbeat increased like crazy and she almost regretted doing things on her own.
“Hmm this is something I never saw coming any time soon but what a surprise Haliah,” he said.
“Greetings to you Mr.Morningstar,” Haliah said.
“The last time I checked, you were unwilling to give in to your fate, you denied us when you never got to know us or what you are capable of,” he said with a scowl.
“I’m sorry… I thought my friends were strong and capable of accepting me but I was wrong. I want to be strong so I can put an end to everything” she said.
“Yes my lord, she’s ready. I told you I will be able to convince her, she’s my blood after all” Violet said with a smile.
She turn to face Haliah and hold her hands with a loving smile “My dear, he’s right here, tell him exactly what you want and you shall receive it” Violet said.
Haliah was quiet for a while, she shut her eyes preparing herself for the worse that could happen. She prayed deep down that her friends should understand her move and stay safe when she’s gone.
“I want to have access to all my powers… I want to unleash my powers so I can do everything I want” she said.
Hades gave a hearty laugh making the projection glitch and he stopped a few seconds later.
“You can’t trick anyone here Haliah, once you give in to your demonic side, you won’t recognize your new friends. You will only know every evil thing around you as friends because that’s where you originated from” Hades said to her.
She sighed and replied “I agree”
Her mother smiled viciously.
“One last thing my dear, once I give you access to your powers, I want you to follow my orders no matter what!” He said.
Haliah gave a head nod and Violet ordered for Ciara’s magic book to prepare the ritual. She’s going to have the powers of 10 demons and so all 10 will possess her.
Violet’s job is to summon the demons into her.
“To summon a demon, they will have to open a portal from hades… that way, we can all return,” Haliah said within herself.
Some black angels shifted back into their human form and started drawing strange signs on the floor.
Meanwhile, Haliah’s mark that Ferya left on her starts glowing on sensing the evil aura around. It didn’t cause her pain this time.
THE HALLWAY
Anthony was running shirtless in the corridor when he bumped into Erik, they almost collided but Erik controlled his speed.
“Hey dude, why are you shirtless?” He asked.
“I… I had to rush down here after dropping Ciara to a safe place” he stuttered panting heavily.
“Ciara? Safe place? What business does Ciara have with the word safe? What’s going on?” Erik inquired.
“I will explain later but right now, we need to get rid of ferya else all her victims will disappear tonight,” Anthony said.
“Wait, I thought we were on the same page here!” He asked getting more confused.
“Just like you accepted Haliah for who she is, I’ve decided to help Ciara. You don’t know her Erik, it’s not her fault.” He said then paused to dry his face…”What’s the plan?” He asked.
“Freddie is the key to getting rid of Lady of will but that grim reaper of a lady won’t let go of him,” Erik said.
“What do you mean? She’s here?” Anthony asked.
“Yes, and they’ve been talking like forever. We need to get Freddie away from her and we don’t have much time left to even explain anything to Fred” Erik said.
“I will try to distract her,” he said.
“I have to go find Haliah too, I haven’t seen her around since,” he said.
“Go get her, I will check on Ciara’s wound then we can meet at the main hall,” Anthony said.
OUTSIDE
The taxi pulled over in front of the Hanson mansion and Jeff paid with the money he found in his wallet. He gave everything out without inquiring about their fee before he left hurriedly.
Kira and Jeff got to the gate but it was locked.
“Oh no, how do we get in? We don’t even have the invitation ticket “ Kira said.
They start to bang on the door hoping someone would hear and at the same time pressing the doorbell.
ANTHONY’s ROOM
When Tony got to his room, his heart sank to the far bottom because Ciara was gone. Her dress was on the couch with Anthony’s blood-stained shirt and jacket meaning that she probably disappeared already.
He fell to his knees clenching the clothes in his fisted hands.
“No!” He yelled.
Then, he stood up to go meet Erik and the rest to get rid of Ferya as soon as possible so all her victims can come back to life.
