Amelia woke up and picked up her phone, She placed my finger print scanner my phone unlocked .. “Oh my God” She exclaimed and stretched out her hands.
She came down from the bed, with the phone on her hand. “How could I be so stupid, I didn’t notice when he called.” She murmured.
“He must be worried about me, maybe he wants to tell that he has arrived at his destination.”
“Maybe he called the home line, and no one responded to the call. Ashh… But the maids and guards are at home.” She dailed his number, it was ringing but he wasn’t picking up.
“Maybe he’s still angry with me.” She dailed his number again, hoping that he will pick up It ended. I threw my phone on the bed. “He’s angry with me, am about to loose my fianceé to another woman” She thought.
“I’m sorry Henderson I was asleep when you called and texted me.” She sent him a text saying that “I’m sorry I couldn’t pick up your calls”. She was waited. “Maybe he would call me back when he sees my text” I thought.
She for about five minutes, but no response from the text nor call from him. She called his number again. She was so excited when he picked up.
“Hello babe” She said, excited. “Hi honey how are you doing?” He said.
“I’m fine. What about you.” She rushed her words, excitedly.
“I’m good as long as I got to hear your voice, this morning.” he replied. I’m truly sorry I didn’t pick your calls, I was asleep when you called and texted me. Am so sorry.” She apologised.
” I was worried about you. I thought maybe something bad had happened to you, because I you that i will call before leaving for the trip.” he said.
“I’m okay and I’m strong enough” She replied and sat on the bed.
“Alright sweetheart I love you” he said. “I love you Honey” She replied.
“What about Richard and granny?” She asked. “They fine.” He mumbled. “Are you sure that you are okay?”
“Am just feeling tired, you know. Pregnancy and you know I just arrived at Naples, so i don’t have any one to talk to.”
“Did you tell Maya that you we will be going back to Naples?” Henderson asked. She battled with her lashes and, “Actually No.” She stuttered.
“Why?” He asked. “Nothing.” She mumbled. “Amelia, we are talking about friendship here.” He said, softly.
“Are you done with the meeting?” She asked. “I will call you back in the evening. I have to go now. We will talk about that.” He said and hang up.

“I didn’t notice that my phone has been ringing, I’m glad I heard her voice, that means she’s okay and I don’t need to worry much.”
“But why’s she feeling tired. Oh God i pray nothing happens to her.” He thought.
The meeting was over and everyone returned to their lodge. After eating, Henderson went to washroom to freshen up, some minutes later he return to the room and sat on the bed, I brought out my laptop, after sending the email to the team. After sending it, he took a look at the factory papers and suddenly slept off.
HOURS PASSED.
It rang but she didn’t answer, He called her again she didn’t answer
“What hell is going?” He said. He lay on the bed with his eyes closed. He was about to call her again when she called me back.
“Hello babe good evening” She greeted, sweetly.
“Babe where have you been i have been calling you but you are not answering” He said, worriedly.
“Uhm! BabeI was in the shower when you called. Am sorry.” she said.
“Alright how you feeling now, you said that you are feeling tired. He said.
” I’m fine now. You don’t have to worry about me, I will take care of myself she said.
“I have to worry about you, because we are no longer close.” He muttered.
Babe are you sure that you are okay, if there’s anything wrong with you, please tell me I don’t mind leaving the meeting to come see you” He said.
“Babe listen to me, I’m fine there’s nothing wrong with me” she said. He didn’t buy that. “Did you do anything hard, yesterday?”
“Nothing much. I just went for a walk in the morning. I guess that’s the reason why.”
“You didn’t ask the maid to give a massage.” He said. “Uhmm. It wasn’t necessary.”
“Like seriously?” He yelled. “O..kay. I will do that in the morning.” She mumbled and rolled her eyes.
“Okay babe have you eaten anything yet.” He asked. “Uhmm no. But I will eat when am done. Am just coming out from the bathroom.” She said.
“Did you call Maya?” He asked. “Like to tell her that you are leaving. Or maybe when you arrived at Naples.”
“I didn’t call her and didn’t tell her that i will be going back to Naples.” She replied. “Why?”
“I don’t want her to leave her job again for me. She has done a lot of things for me and I don’t want her…” She paused and bowed her head.
“Babe.. Babe… I understand. Okay. But no matter what you have to tell her, she won’t be happy if she hears it from someone else.”
“Okay. I will call her.” She mumbled. “Alright. Take care and make sure you eat enough. Okay.” He said.
“Okay..” She mumbled and hang up. She sighed heavily. “I’m sorry Maya.” She mumbled and get dressed. She came down for dinner, it’s just her. She ate and returned back to her room.
“Oh God it’s so lonely here. Had it been that I told Maya she would have been here. But she has done a lot for me.” She thought and laid on the bed, she adjusted the pillow and laid on it.
