Queen Amelia gave an order and the woman’s brother in law was brought to the court room, he confessed that he took everything his brother owned. She questioned him to know why he did it. His response provoked the Queen, she ordered the guards to lock him up, until when she decided to set him free. The woman and her son pleaded for his life to spared, because he was the only family they have.
“You see! Even the ones you hurt is pleading that I should spare your life.” She said.
“Please forgive me, your majesty. I was greedy and jealous of my brother, I promise you that from today onwards I will be changed person. My brother’s wife and son. I will take care of. I will return everything that I took from her. She will be my family and I will be her family.
Please spare my life.” He pleaded. Amelia was silent and same was the council.
“I will spare your life. And you must fulfill the promises that you’ve made in the presence of the council and I the Queen.”
“Yes. Your majesty.” He said and bowed his head to her feet, her bodyguard tried to stop him from touching her feet. But she stopped him.
“Go back to home. And do the needful. I have my eyes on you.” She said and the royal guards left him, they thanked her and left.
The council was happy on the way she settled the matter. During the rulership of Grayson, he never cared about the people on the street. All he cared was himself and nothing else bothered him.
If it was Grayson no one would dare to touch his feet. He will have that person killed, it doesn’t matter if it’s a little boy or girl. He was a heartless ruler.
Amelia retired back to her chamber, she doesn’t have much work to do. All she needs is rest.

Towards the evening, the councils came back to the palace. Amelia was surprised to see them. “What do I owe this time?” She asked.
“Your majesty, please. You can’t be standing while we talk.” Jacob said. The others nod their in agreement.
“What happened? I’m surprised to see to y’all here again. I mean it’s late.” She said walking towards to the court room.
“We are really sorry your majesty. It’s urgent, like we have thought it and that’s why we are here.”
“What have y’all thought about, that i don’t know?” She asked, looking at each and everyone of them.
“It’s about the prime minister.” Jacob said. “Prime minister?”
“Yes, your majesty. When king Grayson was ruling Naples, he has no prime minister.”
“There was a man, with the staff and he was the prime minister. My father made him one.”
“Your majesty. The man you’re talking is… Dead.” Jacob said. Amelia began silent for a while and the court room was silent.
“Let’s talk about this in the morning. Jacob.” She said and stood up, they stood up and bow their head in respect. They left the palace.
In the morning, the councils were in the court room discussing and waiting for the Queen to come to the court room. She has already dressed up. She exhale nervously and picked up her phone.
“Hey babe..” Henderson muttered, smiling. “Hi…” She said and sighed. “Hey, what’s up with you? Are you okay?”
“Am not fine.” She replied. “What’s the matter?” He asked and closed the laptop, he was working on. She explained everything to him, about what the councils said. She told him, whom she wants.
“Alright, but listen. If anything goes wrong. Please call me. I will be there.” He said. “Alright.” She mumbled and wished he is already here.
“And stick on your words. Don’t change it.” Henderson advice. “Alright, thank you.” She mumbled.
“You’re welcome. Com’on leave a smile for me, before hanging up.” He said, she smiled and thanked him again, before hanging up.
IN THE COURT ROOM
“I have made my decision. It’s my choice.” Amelia said.
“Your majesty, we all know that Edwards hasn’t been in the councils nor the palace for a long time.”
“And we all know that, Edwards was stripped off his position. And it was done by Grayson” She said.
“Edward was working in this palace. He was like y’all. How could you forget that so easily?” She said.
They looked at each surprise that she knows about this thing that happened ten years ago.
“Edward is a good man. And he was coming to the palace when my father the late king was alive.”
“Your majesty. You have made your decision, we will go with it.” Jacob said and looked at the others.
“Yes, your majesty.” They chorused and bow to her. “Guards!” She called and they arrived. “Better.” She said.
“Go to Edward house and tell him that the Queen wants to see him, in the palace. Right now.” She commanded.
“Yes, your majesty.” They chorused and left the court room. They drove to Edward’s house, he was having breakfast with his family when they arrived. They delivered the message to the maid and they went to him.
“What’s the matter?” He asked. “The royal guards are here.” She said and left, they exchange looked. “What’s the matter?” Michelle asked, afraid of what will happen. She remembered what happened ten years ago.
“I promise everything will be fine. Okay.” Edward said and kissed his son on his forehead and went to see the guards. They greeted him and they delivered the message to him and left.

Amelia wasn’t in the court room, when he arrived. Jerry informed her that Edward is the palace, she came down from the bed and they left for the court room.
“Greetings to you. Your majesty.” He said and bow. “Well I know you don’t know the reason why you are here.” She paused and he shook his head.
“Mr Edward, I call you here. Before you were one of the ministers of my late father, it all happened that Grayson never wanted you. But we are not going to go through that. The councils came to the palace last night, telling me about getting a prime minister and I asked about the former prime minister. I was told that he is dead. Grayson killed him.”
“So I made my choice on getting a prime minister. And we all agreed that you Edward will be my prime minister.” She dropped the bombshell, he was shocked. “Your majesty…” He stammered and didn’t know what to say.
“Please have a sit.” She said and he sat down. He was made a prime minister and everyone was happy about it.
A WEEK LATER
IN THE HOTEL
“Am lossen it. I’m getting fat. I don’t look beautiful.” She said.
“Hey com’on. Don’t say that. You’re perfect like this.”
“Oh please, everyone knows how a pregnant woman looks like. Fat, tired and hungry.” She said.
“You’re beautiful. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” He said, smiling.
“Are you hungry now?” He asked, she nods. “Alright, I will make an order. What do you want?”
“Fried chicken and rice.” She said, he nods and pick up his phone and make an order in the hotel.
He stand up and wore his shirt. “Are you going out?” She asked. “I thought we were going to stay here together.” She said, looking at him.
“Yeah. I will be right back.” He said and made his way to the door. “Babe..” She called him. He looked at her. “No kiss?” She asked.
“I’m sorry.” He apologized and kissed her lips. “Please get me, Hot cheese.” She said and smiled.
“Alright babe.” He replied and left the room.
