Henderson returned back to the hotel and walked to their room. Amelia has already finished up the meal given to her and was waiting for other stuff, she requested.
Henderson handed the hot cheese to her, she smiled and collected it. “What’s in there?” She asked.
“Ice cream.” He replied. “Hmm.” She muttered and smiled. “Yeah, I went to the park. And I saw Chris. He was the one who sold the ice cream. He is a good guy and he asked of you.”

He stood up and went for his phone, he checked the time.
He moved closer to her he stared at her pretty face, he noticed that she was sleeping, he kissed her lips slightly.
He moved to wardrobe, he grabbed his suit and brought out his tie and shoes, which were very expensive, yes he’s a billionaire he knows what suits him.
He dressed up and he picked up his phone, which was on the table and left the room. He ate to his satisfaction before leaving the hotel. He got to his car and drove off.
HOURS PASSED
Henderson was already back from work, he freshen up and was seated on the sofa, busy with his laptop.
Amelia woke up and saw him busy. She sighed and came down from the bed and walked her lazy self to the bathroom, Henderson glare at her as she didn’t say a word to him. She turned on the shower and take her bath.
Ten minutes later, she is in the room. She grabbed her dress and wore it. She sat on the bed with her phone.
“Are you okay?” Henderson asked. “I’m fine. Do I look sick?” She replied and took a glance at him.
“No. I just wanted to know if you’re okay. You just woke up and went to the bathroom without saying a word to me.”
“Why didn’t say a word to me?” She asked, looking at him. “I wanted to..but I thought that you might not be in the mood of talking.”
“You should also know that I am not in the mood of talking right now.” She said and sigh. “You told me that you missed me and I’m here for you. For us. You don’t wanna talk to me.”
“I’m sorry babe. .” She apologized. “It’s okay. I understand pregnant women and their way. You’re looking beautiful and I will always love you.”
“And I love you too. Thank you for everything.” She said. He smiled and kissed her forehead. She yawned, looking around the room.
“I know that feeling. I will be right back.” He said and left.
TWO MONTHS LATER
After the baby shower, everyone return to their houses. Amelia retired back to her bedroom and was seated on the bed, when a maid came to her. She told the maid to get her juice.
“Alright, your majesty.” She said and bow. Amelia smiled at her unborn child and whispered sweet words to him.
“The maid is taking much time. Am getting tired.” She mumbled. “Maybe I should call Henderson to know if he has arrived at his palace.” She said to no one in particular.
She called Henderson and they talked and laughed on some funny stuff. He told her that they are in the palace. Yeah, Saanvi went to Naples with the king, everyone was invited.
After she finished talking on the phone, the maid came in with the juice and Amelia collected it. She was about to sip it, when Jerry stopped her and forced the maid to go on her knees. Amelia was surprised and stood up, she questioned him.
“What are you doing Jerry?” She asked. “Your majesty. The juice you demanded for was poisoned..” Jerry said and Amelia hands were shaking in fear and scared, the cup fell off and landed on the floor.
“Let me go. You idiot.” The maid said struggling to free herself from his grips. “How sure are you?” She asked.
“I will never lie to the Queen.” Jerry said, boldly and Amelia still couldn’t believe her eyes. She kept looking at the maid for some time, she paused and took a close look at her. Like she has seen this face before. “Give me your orders. Your majesty.”
“Lock her up.” Queen Amelia ordered and immediately Jerry took her to a room and locked her up. The news flied so fast that Henderson heard of what happened and he called and wanted to come back to Naples but Amelia stopped him because it’s late. She doesn’t know if there is someone out there wanting to kill him.
“Your majesty. Are you okay? Did she hurt you?” Mirabel asked, looking at her body. “I’m okay. She didn’t touch me.”
“Did I offend anyone? Who would want to kill me?” She asked, confused and look at Mirabel with tears dropping from her innocent eyes. “You haven’t offended anyone. You have to take things easy. Get enough rest tonight. Okay. You will stay in the late Queen’s room.” Mirabel said.
“I’m scared.” Amelia said. “It’s okay. I will stay with you, in the room.” Mirabel said. “Thank you Ms Mirabel.” She said in between her sobs. “It’s okay. Stop crying, let’s go. The maids will be here to clean up your room.”
Amelia went to her mother’s room and sat on the couch. “Here’s your phone.” Mirabel said. “Thank you..” She said and couldn’t stop thinking about what happened some minutes ago. “Getting me a personal guard wasn’t a wrong idea.” She thought.
“Can I get water, please?” She said. Mirabel left and came back with a glass of water, Amelia drank a little to calm herself down. Her phone started ringing it is Henderson calling.
“Are you okay?” Henderson asked,concerned about her. “I’m fine. Still shocked about all these things.”
“I thought I would be having a good time in Naples. I didn’t get any threat and I haven’t wronged anyone. Why would she want to kill me?”
“Babe. I just want you to calm down okay. Don’t stress yourself. I promise I will be there tomorrow.”
“Did the guards lock her up?” Henderson asked. “Yes.” She mumbled. “Everything will be fine. Okay. Am sorry that you’re going through all these pains.” He muttered and sigh heavily. “It’s not your fault. I wanna rest.” She said and hang up. Henderson sighed sadly, he didn’t get to tell her that he loves her. “Sh|t. Fúçk!” Henderson yelled angrily.
“First it was me. Now Amelia. She hasn’t done anything.” He said and fell on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
20 MINUTES LATER
Amelia managed to sleep with the help of Mirabel. Henderson called again to know how she is doing. Mirabel was the one who picked up and told him that she’s sleeping. He thanked her and hang up. She sat on the couch watching her.
NEXT MORNING
Amelia woke up and take her bathe. She dressed up and Jerry was already at her door. She opened the door and saw him bowing his head. “Did you interrogate her last night?”
“No. Your majesty.” Jerry said and bow. “Okay. Let’s go..” She said and he took her to the room where she was locked up.
“This is too much for someone who tried to kill the Queen.” Henderson said, about the room where she was kept. “When did you arrive?” She asked.
“Just now.” He said. “You already know the in and out of this palace.” She said. “I was once ruled here.” He said. She sighed and looked at him finally. “What’s your guards doing here?” She asked.
“Jerry, please leave us.” She said and he bow and left. “To take a betrayal.” He said and commanded his guards to take her back to Rome. They did as he said and they carried her to Rome.
“This is wrong.” She uttered. “It’s not.” He replied. “It all happened here.” She said. “I know. I will handle it. And I want you to have some rest.. Please.” He said and kissed her forehead.
“Alright, won’t you stay for breakfast?” She muttered. “I will come back later.” He said and left. Jerry came in and saw her standing alone, she looked at him and he bow. “Let’s go.” She said.
ROME
Henderson arrived at the palace and went to the prison room where she was kept. “Who sent you?” He asked, she kept mute.
“Who are you working for?” He asked. Without wasting time, she called the person’s name. And Henderson was shocked.
“What are you talking about?” He yelled at her in anger. “I’m saying the truth your highness. Your majesty, please believe me.” She pleaded. He left the place.
“Your majesty.” The female voice said.
“Keep it to yourself.” Henderson said and grabbed her hand right hand, roughly and dragged her to the prison. He dragged her into the prison room and she was surprised on who she was seeing.
“Y..you..?” She questioned, shocked. “I’m glad you know her. Saanvi.” Henderson said in tears.
