Isabella was causing a commotion outside Alex office, the secretary did not want her to enter the office because Alex had warned her about letting Isabella in.
Isabella did not want to agree with what the secretary said and then she barged her way into the office, she didn’t want to face Alex so she bent her head as she spoke, the secretary was looking at Miguel with a pleading look she knew that her job had finished, her boss had given her an instruction and yet she couldn’t do it properly and his brother is going to fire her, a lot of emotions flowing through her head.
“Look Alex I am sorry I didn’t want to barge in like this, but I had no choice, I am sorry for acting rashly and I accept that it was all my fault, I behaved stupid, yes, I agree that I am indeed stupid”she said and pause but still no response.
“Look Alex I called you a couple of times, either you did not pick or it’s unavailable, but I still tried till I could reach you no more look am sorry I would accept any punishment, but not this one, pls stop ignoring me “She begged and paused for a while waiting for him to speak, when she did not get any reply she got angry and closed her eyes as she vent out her anger.
“What is it that you want from me Alex? I have tried my best for you, I even begged you and yet you are not saying anything, is it because of that crazy girl “She said as she raised her head angrily and opened her eyes just to see Miguel, realizing her mistake her eyes widened.
“Ma – ma master Miguel “She said as she knelt down on her knees begging.
At that moment she knew her life was ruined, no one messes with Miguel like they did with Alex and she just did that, she wished she listened to the secretary and she left peacefully.
“Am sorry sir, please forgive me “She begged continuously, but what was in Miguel’s mind was the opposite.
Which girl was Isabella talking about?
Was it Sandra?
No she dare not refer to Sandra like that.
“Stand up “He said and she looked shocked still in that same position not moving.
“Do not make me change my mind woman”he said as he gritted his teeth.
She scrambled up .
“Thank you sir “She said repeating it like a thousand times.
“If you want me to let you go you have to tell me something first “He said and paused
“I would tell you anything you want me to tell you “She dribbled
“Who was the girl in question, the one you just talked about “He asked
“She’s working under miss Cassandra Owen”She answered
“Working under Sandra and not Sandra ?”
“Yes I think her name is har –something” she said feeling happy that she had somehow pleased Miguel.
“Wait a minute, “He said in an authoritative voice. He had signaled Dee to come in.
“Help me check for anybody name that start with H in Cassie office “I asked
“Let start with her, Hazel ” Dee said as he brought out Hazel pics to show Isabella.
“Yes she is the one, I have seen them together a couple of times “Isabella said
“Alright, you’ve gotten a saving grace today, you can leave, but keep this at the back of your mind that there would be nothing like this next time “Miguel said and she hurriedly left the office.
“I know that sir, will keep that in mind “She said
She was just so happy at the end result, never in her life would she come here, well except Alex calls her.
Meanwhile……..
Miguel was wondering what Hazel was doing with Alex, why do they meet?
“Find more about that girl for me and why she is meeting Alex”Miguel said and Dee nodded then left the office.
“Sir do you want coffee”Charlotte asked as soon as she entered the office, she has been in a room for over thirty minutes doing nothing which she likes and does not, she tried to read some books but she couldn’t.
He heard her voice and then smile “ok but brewed one”he said and she left, at least she could make coffee for him, that’s better.
She handed the coffee over to him.
“How does It taste”she asked with a glint of hope in her.
“Is this your first time making coffee”He asked
“Ye- no “She replied
To be frank that was not the first time she made coffee but the third time.
The first one was a horrible experience accepted.
Second one was crazy and now the third one is like what ?
Messy, ha no it can’t be, my brother said if I made things with love then it would be very sweet and I made this with love so it would be very very sweet.
“This is um – “He tried to hide his face, it was too sweet and milky.
“This is what? “She asked looking very scared.
“This is very sweet and milky ” he said with a fake smile, he doesn’t like it when his coffee is milky or sweet but he just had to drink it cause of her.
“Do you like it “She asked.
“I do but I want you to reduce the sugar and no milk, I would like no milk in mine and a spoon of sugar would do “he said with a faint smile watching her reaction, first she frowned and then smiled looking cute.
“Alright will do “She noted as she sat on the chair.
“Are you not going back to that room.”He asked her
“That place is to boring for me, I need to do something “She said and he paused for a while and then said.
“You could massage me while I work “He said
“Really, I can, no, no, I don’t think I can “She said
“Of course, you can just help me “He said and she looked at him.
“Alright Mr Miguel”she said
“Call me Miguel do not add Mr to my name what’s with the honorifics “He said and she gasped
“But what would people think”she said
” And why do you care about what other people think, mind you, you are the one my mom accepted so you are my wife in front of her, and so you would address me by my name”he said
“But you know that was a misunderstanding “She said
“And so, don’t you want to be my wife”he said
“I can’t be your wife it is so outrageous, like why would I be your wife when they are other girls out there”She said and was folding her arms.
“I just don’t want to be the centre of hatred “She said. He felt hurt when he heard her belittle herself, she is pretty, unique and she has this kind of pure aura that attract him to her, doesn’t she knows that she pulls him towards her like a magnet.
She’s an epitome of beauty.
“Who said you are not worthy of being my wife, you are the best person I would choose because you fit in every quality apart from the coffee, yeah, but that’s not a problem I can teach you that myself and you can also help me out right now from shooing those crazy women away from me with your beauty, that’s way I could breathe a little, if you do not want to become my wife fine but a contract one is okay “He said, wheph , that was the longest word he head ever said in his life and it is because of her.
She was just looking, was he making a confession already, she thought, no way he just said marriage contract, shoo away crazy women he was not serious with his words, he never said he loves me .
“I could pay you, name anything you want, just sign a contract only you and I would know it is a contract, and this could help kill two bird with a stone, first I would make mama wish come true and the next drive crazy women away “He said
“Pay me? Do I look like I need money, are you trying to buy me “She asked looking angry, that was the first time he saw her getting angry.
“Look…I…you-…just…I”He didn’t know what to say, words were not coming, he was just so confused and scared
“You can’t talk uh, fine I quit, before you sack me I resign from this job “She said and left.
“Charlotte “He called, but she did not turn back.
“Sh|t”he cursed as he hit the table with his fist.
