THAT NIGHT**
Shannon bit her lip strongly, and paid little attention to the sharp pain fron her tooth.
“Why the h*ll isn’t she picking?? How dare she??” She growled.
“Who taught her this??! We are leaving! I don’t care anymore. To h*ll with everyone! Jayden! Noel!! Urgh! What was I even thinking??” She stomped her foot and went to Liam’s room.
He was drawing when she came in.
“Liam?” She called.
“Hmm” He answered.
“What are you doing?”
“My assignment. We were asked to draw our family and our home” He smiled, now looking at her.
Shannon inhaled deeply and rubbed her forehead.
“You gotta stop now. You won’t be going to school tomorrow”
Liam face turned sad immediately.
“Why?” He Mõ@ned.
“We are leaving” She replied.
“Huh?”
“Park your things, lad” She said, and closed the door, leaving him, dumbfounded.

Jayden and Whitney bodies snuggled and cuddled together on the huge bed.
Their eyes are facing each other too.
“Its tomorrow” He whispered.
Whitney smiled.
“You’ll forget about what happened today and accept me right?”
She just kept on smiling, not making any utterances.
He pecked her on the forehead.
“I love you, Whitney…” He whispered, and she hugged him, stuffing her face on his chest.
*THE NEXT DAY=MORNING*
“Park your things, Whitney!! We are leaving today! I’m coming for you. Saw all the posts online. I’m disappointed, mad and frustrated! Look at what they did to you cause of your fake contractual relationship! Was the guy even treated like that?? Tell me”
“Mum…Please, calm down” Whitney paced around the room. She was alone there.
Jayden had actually went out, saying he was gonna get something important.
“Don’t tell me to calm down, Whitney, Don’t!! I’m stull tryibg to cool off after finding out you both lied to me. I hope you’re ready? The journey is gonna be a long one”
“So, where are we going from here?” She asked, softly.
“Georgia. I paid for an apartment already. Gotta hang up now. I’m almost at the checkpoint” Shannon said and hung up.
“This happened so fast. The f*ck! I knew this would happen but not like this” She sighed and looked around.
She ran back into her room, and met Jade and Maureen asleep.
She sighed sadly, and took her small brown bag and she kept her important things in it
She didn’t bother to take anything much. She just wanted to leave quietly like she always did.
She was about to leave through the door when Prisca’s words replayed in her head.
She turned back, looking deeply at Jade, in a suspicious manner.
“What did you tattle about me, Jade?” She whispered to herself.
“Or was that a joke?” She sighed, and finally went to the door.
She opened it and walked out.
She was already at the lobby when her phone rang.
“Come outside. Whitney” Jayden told her immediately she accepted the call.
She inhaled deeply and wore her earpiece.
After checking for the music she wanted, she played it and placed it on repeat.

Whitney looked around. Everywhere was decorated in a lovely and sweet manner.
A banner was hanging in one of the tallest hostel.
*I LOVE YOU, WHITNEY* was written boldly on it.
Even the floor had petals around.
3 school influencers were around. Prisca included.
They were paid handsomely by Jayden to get that occurence to the world via video recording.
“Jayden? What’s this?” Whitney muttered, taking her earpiece down.
Prisca rolled her eyes as she watched them.
Jayden walked closer to her wearing a sweet smile.
Whitney had a puzzled look though.
“Jayden?, What’s- She paused when she understood what he was getting at.
“No…I gotta stop this” She muttered, holding her bag tight.
“Whitney…I wanna tell you something” He muttered and at once all the influencers started recording it.
He was actually gonna confess and it was left for her to accept…
“No…Wait. I wanna tell you something first” She said, quickly and he looked intently at her.

“Don’t cut me off” She shoved her palm to his face.
“You’d better not love me…cause you’re basically wasting your time” She said, with hardness in her voice and coldness on her face.
“Whitney…”
A red SUV suddenly stopped behind them and Shannon popped her head out from the windscreen.
“Whitney! Let’s get out of here!” She hollered.
“Huhnn?? Where…Where are you going to?” He asked.
However, she couldn’t reply. Her voice was suddenly very thin and her throat dry.
Wait!. Something was off. Her music.
She planted the earpiece back into her ears, with tears already br!m-mln in her eyes.
“Whitney…” He tried holding her arm, but she dodged it quickly.
She couldn’t hear him right now. All she saw was the sad, and distressed emotions showing boldly on his face.
“I’m leaving you..” She whispered, not listening to the words that escaped from her mouth.
“Huh?” A hot year ran down his left eye.
“Goodbye Jayden” She said, slowed walked to the car. She stepped quickly in after opening it the door.
She closed it immediately.
“Let’s go, Mum” She muttered, tears rolling down her cheek.
Liam was sleeping already at the back seat. Probably, he was tired of all the crying already.
He was gonna miss Washington especially his friends in school.
Shannon started the car which started speeding off.
Meanwhile, Jayden was chasing the car.
“Why!! Whitney!! Wait up!! Wait!! We f*cking have 50 days left!!! Please!!! Wait!! I love you!!” He shouted mightily into tears, still running but she couldn’t hear him.
