The door to Jake’s Ward open slowly, and a masculine figure walked in closing the door silently
The figure walk to Jake’s bed slowly trying hard not to wake Jake up
The figure stared at the sleeping and sigh
“I know you are not sleeping” Ben said and Jake open his eyes
“Why are you here? Jake asked sitting down
“Why did you think am here? Ben smirked sitting on the chair beside his bed
” I heard about your illness” Ben added
“You must be happy that am dying soon” Jake scoffed
“Of course I want to be happy about it but sadly am not” he replied truthfully
“I guess you still love me”
“Don’t think high of yourself, you mean nothing to me,I h@të you and I’ll always h@të you” Ben replied
” Why? Jake questioned sadly

Benedict got into his car and rested his head on the steering
The tears he had been holding from falling in front of Jake fell like rain
He wasn’t crying because he was dying soon, but it’s a cry of regret

The truck driver woke up from his sleep and saw this,he tried to control his truck but it was late, the truck has already hit the car, and Ben’s car summersaulted to the other end
Without waiting, the truck driver drives away in fear
Ben who had a little breathe in him, brought out his phone and dialed a number,the person pick at the second ring
? This is Jake speaking” Jake said from the other end
?Am sorry Jake,am really sorry” Benedict cried groaning in pain
? Benedict are you okay? Jake asked in concern

He dialed the last number on his call list, his dad’s number and Mr Timberlake pick at once
? Benedict,I was about to call you, happy birthday son, long Life and prosperity” Mr Timberlake wished him happily
