Daniel prepare a nice meal for his princess. She thanked him and began eating. “Dad.” She called.
“When are we going to meet grandma? I miss her.” She said. “Don’t worry about it, grandma will come over and spend time with us.”
“Okay. Nice.” She replied and smiled. “Hey, no more talking. Eat your food.” Daniel muttered.
“And you too dad.” She replied and continued eating. After eating, they talked about school stuff and then she slept off. Daniel carried her to the bedroom. He lay her on the bed and kissed her forehead, he covered her properly and immediately, the thought of Nora and what happened outside the mall came to head.
“Nora, I still love you. I’m sorry about everything.” He mumbled and sniffed, he turned off the light and left the room. He went to his room, he brought out a picture of Nora and stared at it. “I hope you are okay. And I hope to see you again.” He said and lay on the bed, with the picture on his chest staring at the ceiling.

The other guards and Mirabel rushed in. She couldn’t believe what her eyes were seeing, she went on her knees, crying.
“Your majesty….” Mirabel called and went on her knees. Jerry quickly turned on the lights and they saw the bodies clearly.
“Your majesty…. Don’t worry about me. I’m fine. Please take Saanvi to the hospital..”
“No, I don’t need it. Am sorry for hating on you, I was jealous and scared of losing him. And thank you for been nice to me and trusting me. You know at first I was scared, when you asked Jerry to come get me…”
Saanvi, please stop talking. Please I don’t want to lose you.”
“I thought you were going to have my head, cut off.. You are…” Saanvi cough out blood, holding her gown tightly. Amelia became frightened.
“Good.. I saw him. He apologized. I won’t forgive him, so easily. I still love him…” She coughed again, the queen became more scared.
“What are you looking at? Take her to the hospital right now.” She yelled at the royal guards, they rushed and take her out of the room. She was taken to the hospital.
“Are you okay?” Mirabel asked, Amelia who was breathing heavily. She only nodded in response to her question.
“She saved my life.” Amelia said, sobbing. “Don’t worry. She will be fine.”
Jerry went closer to the body of a man, laying on the floor in a pool of blood. “He’s dead.” Jerry said.
“I shut him.” She said in between her sobs, immediately Henderson rushed into the room and hugged her, she didn’t stop sobbing on his shoulder. “He tried to kill me.”
“It’s okay. Let’s get out of here.” He said. “I can’t leave here. It’s my responsibility.”
“I know. Let’s go to another room. Your mom’s room. Or the guest room.” Henderson said and carried her in a bridal style to her mother’s bedroom. He kept her on the bed and poured water for her. She drank a little.
“Are you okay?'” He asked, concerned. “Yes. Saanvi saved my life.” Amelia said. “Where is she?”
“She was taking the hospital. He stabbed her. He wanted to kill me, but …” She couldn’t finished her statement but cried.
“It’s okay. Everything will be fine. I’m here.” Henderson said. “We will go to the hospital, right now.” He said and notice some bruises on her hand. “I’m fine. Saanvi is the only one I care about now. She saved me.”
“Amelia, you have a soul growing inside of you. You should think about him too. And Saanvi won’t be happy when comes back and found out that you didn’t go to the hospital for treatment.
Jackie is back. She is in the hospital.” Henderson said, looking at her. She looked at him and bite her lips and mumbled, “Okay.”
He brought his phone and called the cops. He took Amelia to the hospital, they arrived and Jackie was there. She attended to the royal families. After some time, Amelia fell asleep.
“How’s she doing?” Henderson asked, looking at Amelia, who was laying on the hospital bed, he wasn’t close to her to notice that she is sleeping.
“She is sleeping. Don’t disturb her. Let’s go to my office.” Jackie muttered, Henderson moved closer to her and kissed her forehead. They left for the office, Jackie ushered him a seat. “Thank you.”
“What about Saanvi? Is there any improvement.” He asked. “I believe the doctors are doing there job perfectly and thank God she was brought on time. We pray that she will survive.”
“Amelia… She just have two months and two weeks to deliver. You about to see your son. Heard everything that happened, Saanvi becoming her maid. When Amelia was staying with you at the palace, I felt for her. When you turned her to a slave and you got her pregnant.
I liked her the first time I saw her, when she tried to protest. I knew that you were in love with her, I know you love her. But all you wanted and was thinking was revenge.
But am glad that Saanvi, the queen are now good.” Jackie said. “Have you talked to Ethan about this?”
“Nah. I don’t want to stress that young man, he has done a lot. I know if I call him, he will be here. I will do that tomorrow and I’ve told the cops.” Henderson said. His phone began to ring, he brought out his phone and he saw that it is the inspector. “Hello…”
“Your majesty, we are at the royal house and the body is already out.” He said over the phone.
“Alright, thanks.” Henderson said. “He was shot.” The inspector said. “Yeah, it’s was a self defence.”
“Can we see tomorrow? I want to tell you something.” The inspector said. “Alright.. What time?” The king replied. “12pm.”
“Alright, I will be there.” Henderson said and hang up. He sighed heavily, Jackie looked at him. “It’s the cops. He wants to see me tomorrow. I don’t know, what he has to say.” He muttered and shrugged.
“All is well. I believe that. You better believe it too.” Jackie said. “I believe, but it’s taking so long to be well. I will be staying with her tonight. And I will pray for Saanvi too.” Henderson said and stood up, he slide his hand in his pocket and smile. “Thank you doctor Jackie.” He muttered.
“I’m always at your service, king Henderson.” She replied. He left her office with a smile on his face. Henderson went back to the ward and sat on the chair. His eyes didn’t leave her, he was looking at the sleeping beauty. He was lost in thoughts, but was distracted by a call. He brought his phone and picked up immediately, he walked out of the ward avoid waking her up.
“Your majesty, the cops were in the palace some minutes ago.” Jerry said. “Yeah, I called them. But I want you to do something for me. Get some security with you. I want them to be in the hospital.”
“Alright, your majesty.” Jerry said. “And…thank you.” Henderson muttered, Jerry nods, though he couldn’t see him. The king hanged up and went back to the ward and returned to his position.
