Pinky collected it and turned around, she took two steps forward before coming back to him.
“Bon appetit” she smiled and threw everything on the floor.
Davis looked at the broken plates and stained pasta on the floor then looked back at Pinky’s face with a smile.
“Bon appetit?” He repeated and nodded then took a spoon full of cream salad.
“Bon appetit” he said and threw it on her face.
Pinky gasped but wasn’t given any chance to wipe her face when another salad landed on her face.
“Bon appetit right? Well Bon appetit!” David took the whole tray of pasta and emptied it on her face.
He took the pot of pepper sauce and poured it on her face too.
“Bon appetit” he smiled in satisfaction.
Pinky began screaming and jumping around the cafeteria David watched with a smile.
“Who’s going to clean this mess?”
David immediately woke up from his thoughts when he heard someone’s voice.
He looked at the floor to see the pasta and broken plates then looked around only to see that Pinky had ordered food from another waitress.
He didn’t do those things to her but only imagined himself doing those things to her.
“Damnit!” He hit his fist on the table.
“I asked who would clean this?” The senior waitress who was beside him asked.
David sighed and went to look for a broom. She might have had her way this time but he’s coming for her tomorrow since she’ll be doing the community service.

AFTER SCHOOL.
“Care to explain why I saw you serving the junior cafeteria today?” Joshua asked as he stepped out of the school with David and Carly.
“It’s Carly’s fault,” David said immediately.
“Me?” Carly’s eyes widened.
“Shhh” he winked at her.
“Well I’m not the one who asked you to start a fight with that Pinky” Carly scoffed.
Joshua stopped walking and turned to look at David.
“You fought with Pinky?” He asked.
“She was bullying baby sis,” David pointed at Carly.
“Well baby sis can protect herself” Carly rolled her eyes.
“Enough you two!” Joshua sighed and rubbed his forehead.
“David, Carly, no more bad reports from the both of you, do you hear me?” He said with a serious look.
Carly nodded while David was busy scoffing. Carly looked at him and pinched him.
“Fine I won’t fight but I’m not a gentle man, if that pink head dares to find my trouble, I won’t hesitate to smash her head” David muttered.
“Joshua said not to cause trouble” Carly said to him and he rolled her eyes.
“The both of you can go home together, I’ll come later” Joshua sighed.
“But why? School has closed already” Carly asked with creased brows.
“Carly” David grabbed her arms and pulled her to his side.
“Big brother said we should go together so let’s not disobey him, come on” before Carly could protest, David already dragged her out.
Joshua watched the both of them leave, stopping a cab and going elsewhere.

MALIBU PARK.
Sydney kept pacing back and forth, checking here and there if she’ll see Teddy.
Earlier she called him to meet her here so they could have a talk about what happened earlier.
A black spot car finally stopped, it opened and Teddy came down with his hands in his pants pocket.
Sydney watched him with a nervous look as he walked closer to her, her guilt tripled when she saw a bandage on his nose.
“Teddy” she moved closer to him and tried touching his nose but he held her hand and put it back down.
“Listen to me Teddy I’m sorry” she said softly.
Teddy didn’t say anything other than watch her speak.
“I know you’re mad at me but I..
“But what?” Teddy finally spoke.
“Picking fights with a guy in public for no reason, seriously?” He gave her a reasonable look.
“But I already apologized to him, what more do you want me to do?” Sydney said frustratedly.
“Don’t you get it Sydney, it’s not just about apology. You really disappointed me” he replied and she pressed her lips together.
David just entered along with Carly, still pulling her hands.
“Hey slow down David, you didn’t even take me home. How annoying are you!” Carly forcefully pulled her hands away from his.
David wanted to talk but the argument from the couples behind them made them turn back to look.
“I expected anyone else to act stupidly but not you Sydney not you!” Teddy gave her a disappointed look.
“David come on” Carly grabbed Davis’ hands and took him to hide at the park of a tree.
“Carly what the hell-”
“Shhh!!!” Carly didn’t let David finish what she was saying when she blocked his lips with her palms.
David’s eyes widened and he stilled for a while
“I don’t think it’s right for us to listen when couples are having a talk like this so let them finish first,” she whispered.
David just stared at her face in silence before calming down and nodding. Seeing that he wasn’t going to talk again Carly released him.
“I just wanted to help Olivia,” Sydney muttered.
“Well there are other ways to help her without making it so lousy,” Teddy replied.
“Listen Ted, I’m sorry okay, my anger got the best of me and it won’t happen anymore” Sydney pleaded.
“I’m leaving now” Teddy replied and turned around then began.
“Teddy” Sydney followed him and Carly saw their faces but didn’t recognize them because she doesn’t know them.
Sydney grabbed Teddy’s forearm before he could open his car.
“Please I already gave you my words” she pleaded with teary eyes.
“If you want to believe you then show me, prove to me that you won’t ever do that again and talk to Olivia also. Remember that I do hold grudges for long, you don’t want to be on that list Sydney, you don’t want to” he said to her before entering his car and driving off.
Sydney watched him leave and nodded, if it’s to apologize to Joshua a thousand times and talk to Olivia then she’d do it. She can’t bear to lose Teddy for anything.
She entered her car and drove off.
Seeing that they had left, Carly came out with David.
“So why did you bring me here?” She asked with an angry look.
“Relax” Davis smiled and faced her.
“It’s about Joshua,” he said.
“What about Joshua?” Carly asked with a serious look.
“His birthday is coming up”.
Carly’s eyes widened.
“His birthday is coming up, when?” She asked.
“This month’s dummy so I was thinking if we would throw a surprise birthday for him” Davis replied.
“Of course we should” Carly smiled and David smiled too.

EVENING★ JOSHUA’S ROOM.
“Knock”
“Knock”
Joshua took off his glasses and went to get the door, he was surprised to see Carly standing there.
“Carly? Come in” he made space for her to enter.
Carly entered and Joshua closed the door.
“I’m sorry I’m just returning home now I..
“I thought I told you and David to come back, where did the both of you go?” He cut her off.
“David took me to the park but we were discussing something important” Carly replied and sat on the bed.
“What could be the important thing for you to be out with David and returning this late. David is a reckless boy and you’re fragile, he shouldn’t be taking you out and returning home late, he’s new to Malibu. What if the both of you get lost?” Joshua scolded her.
“I’m not new here so I’ll find our way back home” Carly replied.
Joshua sighed and shook his head.
“Anyways I made dinner, come eat so you sleep and be up early for school tomorrow” he muttered and went to the kitchen.
“You cooked?” Carly stood up from the bed and happily rushed after him.
“Hmm, I’m not sure if it’s that good though,” he replied and served some of the dish on a plate then handed it over to her.
Carly immediately tasted it and smiled.
“It’s good, how did you make it?” She asked and went to sit down so she could continue eating.
“Just eat and go to your room” Joshua rolled his eyes and went to the bathroom.
Carly just looked at the bathroom door before facing her food to continue eating.

SYDNEY’S PLACE.
Sydney stared at Olivia who was sitting on the bed with an angry look.
Olivia sighed and looked up.
“Go ahead and scold me,” she muttered.
“I’m not scolding you but I’ll make it straight. You will never mention Joshua’s name or look at Joshua or see Joshua ever again or the both of us are done being friends!”
