Olivia looked surprised as she stared at Sydney.
“Why are you suddenly talking like this?” She asked in a tiny voice.
“I’m just trying to help you Olivia, stay away from Joshua!!” Sydney replied and Olivia shook her head.
“Is it because of the fight you had with Joshua? Are you suddenly ashamed? You’re doing this for yourself right?” Olivia asked slowly.
Sydney sighed and rubbed her forehead.
“It doesn’t matter who I’m doing this for but you can never get back together with Joshua, you’ve already lost him, you made it clear to everyone that Joshua damaged you to an extent that you weren’t yourself anymore so why want him back? Do you seriously want to experience those feelings again?” Sydney tried to reason with her.
Olivia shook her head and stood up from the bed then faced Sydney.
“Let me ask you something. If I ask you to stop seeing your boyfriend or not be my friend anymore, which one will you pick?” She asked.
Sydney kept quiet.
“Answer me!!” Olivia yelled.
“Listen Livy, Joshua is no longer your boyfriend so you can’t compare yourself with me” Sydney replied.
Olivia chuckled and nodded.
“So you can’t do it then” she muttered.
“Livy, you’ve already embarrassed Joshua and he has lost everything he had because of you so do you ever think he’d love you again?” Sydney asked.
Olivia wiped the tears that fell off from her eyes.
“Now you’re against me,” she said.
“I’m not against you, it’s just that..
“Enough Sydney, being friends with you meant a lot to me but I’m ending it from here and yes I pick Joshua” Olivia cut Sydney off with a determined look.
Sydney looked stunned and surprised as she stared at Olivia.
“Even if the world is against my decision, even if Joshua will forgive me the day I’d take my own last breath, even if I have no one standing by my side and if I’m asked to leave Joshua or get killed” Olivia wiped the tears of her eyes and continued.
“I’ll pick death, everytime” she added and Sydney didn’t know what to say.
Olivia went to her closet to pack her clothes before starting to leave.
“At least leave tomorrow” Sydney shouted before Olivia’s hand could touch the door knob.
Olivia looked back at her and smiled.
“Don’t worry about it, bye” she opened the door and left completely.
Sydney burst out into tears, she felt really sad to leave her friend but she feels like she’d die if she got to leave Teddy.
Olivia got to the front of the mansion she ran away from but couldn’t hit the door bell.
She slipped on the floor and began crying as she remembered what Sydney said to her earlier before they cut ties as friends.
“Livy, you’ve already embarrassed Joshua and he has lost everything he had because of you so do you ever think he’ll love you again?” Sydney had asked her.
Olivia hugged her knees tight and cried even more.
“I’m so sorry Joshua, if I could turn back time then I wouldn’t have done all that to you, I’d take wh@tëver risk comes rather to lose you Joshua” she cried in nothing but regret.

NEXT MORNING.
Joshua was already dressed up for school and was waiting for Carly outside. Carly finally showed up and immediately walked up to him.
“I came to your room but couldn’t find you there and I thought you left already” she said.
“I was waiting for you outside” he replied and she nodded, then she suddenly remembered something and faced him again.
“Yesterday where did you go?” She asked.
Joshua turned to face her and she immediately clamped her lips together.
“I went to get something for you,” he replied.
Carly’s eyes widened with surprise.
“What did you get me?” She asked happily.
“This” he dipped his hands in his pocket and showed her a new cell phone.
The smile on Carly’s face slowly faded and Joshua frowned.
“What’s wrong? You don’t like it? It’s original though?” He said and began checking the phone out.
“I’ve told you countless times to stop buying me expensive things!” Carly frowned.
“But you’ll need it,” he replied.
“In any way I can manage or I can work to get it, you don’t have to use the little you have to get me things!” She complained as she stared at the phone in his hands.
Joshua sighed and took her hands then placed it there.
“Just accept this and I promise not to get you anymore things” he said.
“But..
“Please Carly, accept it okay, if you don’t then I’ll just throw it away” he cut her off with a confident look as he knew she wouldn’t be able to refuse it anymore.
Carly stared at him and bit her lips hard before nodding.
“Fine, this will be the last gift I’ll be accepting from you. Start saving up for yourself from now” she muttered and he nodded with a smile.
“Thank you Joshua, really,” she said slowly.
Joshua wrapped his arms around her shoulder with a smile.
“It’s nothing, let’s go to school come on” he smiled and pulled her along with him.

SANCHEZ MANSION.
Angelina, Olivia’s mom, opened the door, looking dressed and was about to go to get the office frozen when she met Olivia sitting on the floor and leaning her back against the door with her eyes closed.
Seems like she slept out here last night because she was shaking with a cold.
“Livy” Angelina called with a frown and Olivia slowly opened her eyes.
A smirk appeared on Angelina’s face.
“Why are you back here, I thought you left?” She asked with crossed arms.
Olivia slowly stood up and faced her mom in tears.
“I’m sorry mom, please let me in, I’m tired” she replied in a low voice.
“I should take you back in? What a joke” Angelina scoffed and began leaving.
“Mom please!!” Olivia shouted and Angelina turned to face her.
“If you really want me to take you in then go down on your knees and apologize to me” she said.
Olivia clenched her fist tight and when Angelina turned around she went on her knees.
“I’m sorry mom, I shouldn’t have argued with you. You’re my mom and you’re always right, I’m sorry” she apologized.
Angelina sighed and turned to her.
“Get up” she said and Olivia stood up.
“Don’t leave me mom, I don’t have any other friend, you’re the only family I have left” Olivia cried and Angelina moved closer to her and pulled her for a hug.
“That’s enough, I’m glad you’re back to your senses” she said with a smile.
Olivia hugged her mom tighter and continued crying.
“That’s enough already, don’t wet my clothes with your tears and you should go Inside and shower” Angeline sighed and Olivia pulled away from the hug.
Angelina cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears.
“You’re my daughter and I know I might be mean sometimes but it’s for your own good, look at us Olivia, did you ever pictured us in this position when we were little? You know if we were richer then your father wouldn’t really be in this condition but now nothing can ever happen to us Livy and you don’t have to be worried about your ex. He’s alive and kicking isn’t he plus he’ll get over it” Angelina scoffed and moved forward.
“If men could always be the playboy and play with women’s feelings to have their way with them, why can’t we do the same?” She scoffed again.
Olivia didn’t say anything.
“You’re still young Livy, there are plenty of guys in this world and there would be more who will get to love you more than Joshua so just forget him already, okay?” Angelina said softly.
Olivia nodded and Angelina smiled.
“Good girl, shower, eat and rest, I’ll look for a home teacher for you” Angelina smiled and left.
Olivia watched her mom till she was out of sight before shaking her head.
“I can’t do all that mom, I really can’t” she muttered.

UNIQUE HIGH★ LUNCH BREAK.
“Hey” Carly came at the back of David who was standing behind his locker and he turned to look at her.
“Hey” he greeted her too.
“So did you do it? Did you find out who Joshua’s friends are apart from Shane?” She asked.
David shot his locker and thought for a while before facing her with a smile.
“I think you, me, mom, Shane, and Selene. They aren’t much” he shrugged.
“You should find out in case there’s more, we need to give Joshua the best surprise of his life” she said with a smile.
“How come you’re happier about his birthday than me?” He asked and Carly stuck her tongue out.
David sighed and shook his head.
“Just make sure you dress well on that day, if you really lack fashion sense then we can go shopping together” he said.
Carly glared at him and walked away in anger while David ran after her.
“Hey are you mad at me? I’m sorry wait for me” he shouted and they disappeared from the scene.
Pinky and Susan came out of their hiding place and looked at themselves.
“I wonder why I h@tëd that guy with passion, turns out he’s friends with Joshua” Pinky said with an angry look.
“What are they even planning to do for Joshua?” Susan asked and Pinky looked at her with a glare.
“I obviously don’t know but we need to find out wh@tëver it is and make sure it doesn’t work out. Joshua doesn’t deserve to be happy” Pinky replied with a scoff.
