Boys stared admiringly as Violet walked into the school with Jeffrey while the girls gave her h@tëful glares
” I hope you’re okay?” Jeffrey asked and she nodded
” Let’s go ” He said and they turned to leave but….

Girls gushed as he walked out of his car.
Violet found herself staring longer that expected. She blinked rapidly and quickly looked away
Even a blind person could feel his handsomeness right now
” Let’s go ” she told Jeffrey and they walked to class since they were in the same department
” See ya” Jeffrey said and walked to his seat while she found a seat for herself at the front
Ryan walked into the class too and straight to his seat, ignoring the girls who were staring dreamingly at him
” And I was like, f*ck! This b!tch is crazy!!” Came Reece’s voice. They just got to class
The class suddenly became quiet
” Why? What’s wrong? Why’s everyone quiet? We don’t bite do we?” Remy asked mockingly
His eyes scanned the class till they landed on Violet
” Oh my, see who we have here… Scholarship!! ” he called walking to her
? Remy knows her?
? What’s their relationship?
? Gawd, I’m jealous
” She got the admission? I thought dad cancel the results? Or did he have a change of mind?” Ryan wondered
He wouldn’t have known if Remy didn’t made mention of ‘Scholarship’
Jeffrey panicked from where he sat. He was hoping they wouldn’t do anything to her
” You got the admission? Wow, you must be brilliant ” Remy said, biting on his neat nails while she just stared at him
Jeffrey had told her to avoid them and she was going to do just that. Not because she’s scared of them though, but because she was avoiding trouble
” Well, welcome to my world… Don’t get on my bad side if you wanna keep schooling here” He threatened with an annoying smirk displaying at the corner of his lips
He flashed her a fake smile before walking to his seat with his friends while Jeffrey exhaled
” Do you know him?” A girl sitting next to violet asked
” No, I don’t ” She replied and the girl nodded
” Its better not to know them…. Just stay away from them and you’ll be fine” The girl said and Violet nodded slowly
” Forgive my manners, I’m Yixuan… Yue Yixaun” the girl said
” Violet…. Violet fang” She replied and Yixaun smiled
” You’re beautiful ”
” You too ” Violet replied and she chuckled
A lecturer entered immediately and lectures began. Violet listened with rapt attention and kept jotting down important points
Minutes later, the lecturer left and another entered
They had two more classes before lunch

” I’m d@mn tired ” Yixuan complained, yawning slightly. The last lecturer just left their class and it was lunch time
” Let’s go to the cafeteria together ” She said, holding onto Violet
” I…..
” Violet ” Jeffrey interrupted, walking to her
” hi ” she waved
” I see you’ve made a new friend ” He said referring to Yixaun
” Yeah, she’s Yixuan, my new friend ” Violet replied
” Hi Yixuan, I’m…..
” You’re Jeffrey ” Yixuan replied, cutting him off while Violet chuckled
” Since you’re here, let’s all go to the cafeteria together ” She said
” Yeah, let’s go” Jeffrey agreed and they left the class
Remy and his friends left the class too and Ryan followed. He was going after Remy but lost track of him
He sigh loudly and turned to leave when he heard his name
” Ryan!!” A girl called, walking to him
At first he wanted to ignore her and keep walking like he didn’t hear but he thought against it. He turned to the strange girl with a frown
” Hi ” The girl said shyly
” And you are?” He asked
” Oh, I’m Chang fei, the girl you saved from Mara the other day” The girl replied and Ryan thought for a while before he could finally fathom where he had seen her
” What can I do for you?” He asked calmly
” I want to thank you for saving me that day ” Chang fei replied, stretching a bottle of juice to him
He stared at it, then at her with a sigh
” I didn’t do that for you ” he said and she looked up at him
” I just couldn’t stand Mara bullying anyone ” He said further and walked away
Chang fei stood on the spot as she watch him leave – She was hurt.
She stared at the juice in her hand and sigh
” I was hoping you’d accept it” She muttered under her breath before leaving for the cafeteria too

⁂ CAFETERIA
” So did you enjoy Mr Bing’s class” Yixuan asked as they settled on an empty table with their food
” Well… I did, it wasn’t that boring ” Violet replied as she ate from her plate
” Wasn’t boring? He’s the borest lecturer ever, if there’s any word like that…” Yixuan rolled her eyes and Violet giggled
” It’s true though, I always feel sleepy whenever he’s in class” Jeffrey agreed
” I know right ” Yixuan said and they hit knuckles. Violet shook her head as she stared at them
” Lazy bones ” She muttered
” Can I sit here?” They heard a voice
The three of them raised their head to look at the person
” Oh, Chang fei…. Of course you can, if violet and Jeffrey doesn’t have a problem with it though ” Yixuan said, staring between Violet and Jeffrey
” I don’t have a problem with it”
” It’s fine by me” They both replied at once
” Thank you ” Chang fei smiled at them before sitting
That moment, Remy walked into the cafeteria along with his friends. Yixuan brushed a strand of her hair back as she stared at them. Violet noticed this and smiled
” Who’s it among them?” She whispered
” What do you mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about ” She replied quickly while fanning her self with her hands. She was suddenly feeling hot.
” Gosh, it’s so hot in here” She puff out air from her mouth and Violet giggled.
” I’ll be back, I need to use the restroom” Violet stood up
” Should I go with you?” Jeffrey asked but she shook her head
” It’s fine ” She replied. ” I’ll find my way my self” She said and he nodded reluctantly
” I won’t stay long… ” She added and left
She kept taking turns and corner’s till she got to the restroom
” At last” She breath out and entered
She left the restroom minute’s later and was about heading back to the cafeteria when a voice caught her attention.
Someone was singing, though the voice was faint but she could still hear it. She turned to the direction of the voice and started walking to it. She traced the voice till she got to the stairs. She climbed it and found herself at the roof top ー that was where the voice was coming from
She saw a guy singing with his eyes closed as she stood a distance, staring at him. She couldn’t see his face properly since he wasn’t looking her direction
After a while, he stopped singing and tilted his head to her direction but she quickly hid
He wiped his tears and removed his headphone from his ears. He stood up and left the rooftop
Violet came out of her hiding spot and stared at his direction. She still couldn’t see his face since he was backing her
” Can one’s voice be so melodious?” She wondered as she descended the stairs too
She was about taking a turn when she bumped into Jeffrey. He quickly held her so that she wouldn’t fall
” What are you doing here?” She asked, standing her ground
” I came looking for you, you were taking longer than expected so I was worried ” He said worriedly
” I’m okay, I just missed the way briefly” she said. ” Let’s go ” She added they went back to the cafeteria
” I took too long, didn’t I” She asked as she sat on her seat
” It’s fine ” Chang fei replied
” I wanna ask something really rediculous, i hope you don’t mind” Yixuan asked
Jeffrey and Violet exchange glances before nodding
” How did you two know each other ” Yixuan asked
” Us?” Violet asked pointing at Jeffrey then at herself
” yeah, you two ” Chang Fei chipped in
” We are childhood friends, we grew up together ” Violet replied and Yixuan exchanged glances with Fei
” Or childhood lovers ” Yixuan wagged her brow teasingly
” Its nothing like that ” Violet defended
” You’re kidding”
” She’s saying the truth. We are just friends ” Jeffrey intervened
” Péngyǒu? ( Friends), Seriously? ” Chang fei grimaced

” You need to see the newbie… Gosh, She’s hot and beautiful ” Claire said, sitting on Mara’s bed
Mara has been on her bed for a while now. She couldn’t get the fact Ryan embarrassed her outta her head
She wouldn’t eat or do anything… She has been sulking
” Seriously, I thought she was an angel at first glance ” Claire said again, knowingly
” She’s beautiful? ” Mara asked, removing the quilt from her body
” Yes she is, I almost mistook her for an angel” Claire replied
” Beautiful? More…. More than me?” Mara asked again, staring at Claire’s expression intensely
Claire stood up from the bed and paraded the room for a while
” Well…. She trailed off
” Well?… Mara asked, her hopes high
” If i was a guy and i was asked to choose between you both, I’ll choose…. Claire trailed off and placed her hand under her chin as if she was thinking
” You’ll choose….. Mara trailed off too
” I’ll choose you” Claire said
” Why? ”
” Because you don’t have sense. No one else would choose you if I don’t . The newbie is pretty, unlike You who looks like the devil’s bride… Gawd you look like poop but I’ll still choose you cos…
” Get out!!! ” Mara screamed
” But I’m not done talking, I still….
” Get the f*ck out Claire” she snarled
” Fine I will…. Ugly moron ” Claire glared and walked out of the room
