CHAPTER TWENTY THREE
? What do you want? Mia asked with a frown.
She was going through her pictures with August when Ricardo’s call came in.
She frowned deeply when she remembered the argument they had in the car after the call but she picked the call anyways.
? Hey, you don’t have to sound like that,Ricardo spoke, his hands creasing his forehead.
? Look, if you called to reprimand me for deciding to tell mom the truth then I better hang up now, Mia replied rudely.
? Come on Mia, we should talk to those two first, I can’t believe you would want to do that to your sister after what she went through all these years.
? Maybe mom knew she is a backstabber, thats why she restricted all her movements.
? Stop it Mia, Blue isn’t a backstabber, Ricardo defended.
? After all she did to you? That Bîtch is cheating on you right now with my boyfriend.
They are cheating on us!
? Its not like she agreed to date me anyways, she owes me nothing,
? What about me?!
? Look, can you be a little patient? You can stall your mom for a while, I beg you to defend her once more, please Mia, I’ll talk to Blue tomorrow, I promise.

? I’ve loved your sister for so long to detest her now over something that might be a misunderstanding, I think you should do the same too, Ricardo said.
There was silence between them.
While Ricardo hoped he made sense, Mia didn’t know how to feel.
? I can’t deny the fact that I’m an insecure Bîtch, just this once Cardo, and if my suspicion is right,I’m blowing everything up, she replied and hung up.
She threw her phone on the bed with a sigh the moment her eyes landed on August’s picture which was her wallpaper then she burst into tears.
Unknown to her, she had two other people with her in the room all the while she was on call.
August stood motionless as he watched her cry.
He didn’t know what to do.
He wanted badly to comfort her and tell her everything would be alright but he couldn’t.
He h@tëd to see her sad, he h@tëd to see her cry over him.
He h@tëd to see this insecure part of her.
He wanted to walk in and give her a warm hug and tell her he loves her, but does he? ?
He looked to the ground but Beiber was not there.
“Your Majesty” he called through mind link.
He then kept mute awaiting his instruction as he tried not to make a sound.
He watched Mia take off her clothes, tears still pouring out of her eyes.
She took slow steps to the mirror stark naked, then she stood and just stared at herself.
Watching her, August expected to get a boner or feel some type of way but as usual, he didn’t. ?
And he knew why.
As she stared at her naked body, he could tell what her thoughts are.
” Let’s leave” he heard King Wrights voice on his head.
“Yes, your Majesty” he replied, without a glance at her, he turned and joined Beiber and they walked out the same way they came.
None of them muttered a word to each other as they walked.
August had a lot of thoughts going through his head, unknown to him King Wright could hear all of his thoughts.
But he allowed him think anyways, even though his thoughts were distracting him.
They kept walking till they got to an open field close to the hotel, knowing what August needed at that point, Beiber stopped walking.
August stopped to know why his king stopped too.
“It’s going to be full moon in few minutes” King Wright said through mind link and realization hit him.
He’s been too busy lately that he completely forgot its full moon already.
He was so grateful to be reminded of it before returning to the hotel where there are innocent people.
In a short while the moon started to get brighter till it got so full and bright.
The next second his(August) fangs were out as he took in his full vampire form dashing into the nearby bush after getting a nod from Beiber who didn’t move an inch from the spot.
The same way every creature at White Horse Kingdom were all out in the bushes doing their usual full moon ritual together.
August growled in excitement when he sighted an animal walking to his direction.
His first prey for the night.
The animal drew closer and withiut warning her jumped and pounced on it, shredding it to pieces amd draining all of its blood.
His bloodshut eyes searching for the next unfortunate animal as he sucked on the blood.
You might be wondering why he chose an animal blood over human.
Even if he wasn’t in the White Horse Kingdom, he was taught not to go for the blood of a human as that was against the policies given to them by King Wright.
He wasn’t taught to kill any human no matter how sweet his or her blood seems to be.
Only rogue vampires go for human blood and that was one of the reasons why the border was shut for ages making the rogue vampires starve to death since they couldn’t access any human anymore.
His grandmother’s husband who owns a hospital supplies them with blood from his hospital everyday and that’s what he takes in place of juice.
Just when he dropped the dead animal, another one showed up but before he could get to it, someone got there before him.
In shock he hid himself at a corner watching as the white haired woman in all black devoured the animal recklessly and withik seconds the animal dropped dead.
A witch?
Then she got up with blood shut eyes, licking her long nails and lips including her fangs that was all bloody as she searched amd scanned the area.
The moment he saw her face, he almost fainted.
Kathy? he muttered
A growl rang in his head.
King Wright heard him.
How is she a witch?
When did witches start to suck blood?
Does the twins know their mom is a witch?
Does His Majesty know?
Several questions flooded his head as he watched her busrt into laughter, did the usual witch circle and flew away before he could make out her direction, she was gone.
Looking around him, he didn’t feel like he wanted to hunt anymore.
He would just have to avoid all humans and go get blood in his room.
Speedily,he ran off.
Getting to the field,Beiber was still at the same spot .
The cat let out a meowing sound when he got there letting him know he knows what happened.
But he was shaken.
Seeing what he saw kept him on the edge.
He couldn’t place the puzzle in his head correctly.
The White Horse Kingdom only had one mother supreme and that is Saraphina.
Only the mother supreme has such white long hair like Blue.
If Kathy is a white haired witch then what about Saraphina?
” You have to tell her who you are, there is no time left” King Wright spoke through their mind link and August nodded.
He has to let her know who he is and who she is before Kathy gets to her.
And he has to talk things out with Mia so she won’t blow Blue’s cover.
But what would he say to her?
