FALLON’S MANSION.
Teddy looked tired as he climbed down the stairs then even more surprised when he saw a lot of people partying in the living room.
“What’s going on here?” He asked out loud.
“I’m throwing a party” Pinky rolled her eyes as she stepped in, dressed in a silver flare gown.
“But why?” He asked with his hands crossed around his chest.
“Are you slow? Olivia just won five pop awards in a row!!” Pinky replied in an excited tone.
“So?” Teddy asked with a shrug.
“Ah I see, you’re just jealous because you’re the same age as her and you haven’t won anything successfully” she stuck her tongue out at him and walked away.
Teddy just rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen, the door bell sounded and Pinky went to get it.
It was Sydney.
“What are you doing here?” Pinky asked and at the same time, she eyed Sydney from head to toes.
“I’m looking for Teddy,” Sydney replied with a smile.
“And why’s that?” Pinky asked, still eyeing her.
“We are project partners”
“Just you two?” Pinky asked again.
Sydney shook her head and went in.
“Hey! I didn’t give you any permission to enter!!” Pinky yelled and closed the door.
When she turned around to leave, the door bell sounded again.
“Who?” She opened the door and met Joshua, David and Carly standing there.
“What are you doing here you cuckquean!” She asked with a dangerous look.
“Teddy’s partner plus the police are outside, if anything happens to me, prepare to sleep in jail for the rest of your life” Joshua replied with a simple smile.
Pinky angrily let him in and she faced David and Carly, her eyes went to Carly’s colour combination and she shook her head.
“Why are the both of you here?” She asked.
“We are your project partners,” David replied.
“Yes I know that but why are you here?” She asked again.
“We invited ourselves over so we could work together, satisfied?” Carly replied and Pinky gave her angry looks.
David’s eyes fell on a loud speaker that’s on a table and he went to carry it.
? Everyone, get out now!! Leave now!! Party is over so scram!!” He yelled out and the people began murmuring to themselves and leaving.
When they were gone, David faced Pinky with a smile.
“Can we begin?” He asked.
A FEW HOURS LATER.
“What is this!?” Pinky asked with widened eyes while staring at the mess Carly made on the painting board.
“This was not what we agreed on!!” She yelled again.
“Get a grip please, it’s just a mistake” David rolled his eyes.
“Just a mistake, with her poor art skills when we are getting the lowest mark!!” Pinky yelled.
Carly bit her lips and looked away.
“Wh@tëver just passes the pink paint” Pinky sighed and rolled her eyes.
Carly stared at the different colours of Paint beside her and her heart began beating fast.
Which one of them is Pink?
“Carly!!” Pinky yelled.
David took the pink paint and passed it to Pinky.
“There now rest” he eyed her as he pushed the paint closer to her.
Pinky smirked and crossed her arms under her brèast.
“I should have none that she’s terrible with art and colours from the jombo she’s putting on” she said as she eyed Carly from head to toes.
“Pinky” someone called her name and they all turned back to see Joshua.
“You really showed, watch your mouth, Carly come with me” he added with a blank look then left.
Carly stood up and followed Joshua while David turned to Pinky and glared at her.

IN THE GARDEN.
Joshua and Carly both sat on the long bench, Joshua gave his handkerchief to Carly when he noticed she was about to cry.
“Thank you” Carly muttered and cleaned her tears with it.
“Why did you allow Pinky to insult you that way?” He asked softly.
“Because she’s right” Carly mumbled to yet face.
“So are you gonna tell me or do you need more time?” Joshua then asked but Carly didn’t reply to him, she just faced front.
Joshua sighed and was about to stand up when he heard her voice.
“I’m achromatopsia,” she muttered.
Joshua stopped and turned to face her again.
“How did that happen?” He asked.
“I don’t know, I used to have this dream some nights about my parents being rubbed and killed but don’t remember why. I saw their bodies and my nanny got killed.I was being chased around but I fell and I didn’t know how it happened. Inside that dream I used to see colors but when I put on makeup, I see only black and white” she replied.
Joshua signed and held her shoulders then pulled her head closer to his chest.
“How old were you in that dream?” He asked softly.
Carly thought before replying.
“I was going to five, the next day was supposed to be my five years old birthday and I wanted to surprise them by showing them my grades because I passed but them I saw daddy laying on top of his blood, mummy looked scared and was shot and nanny got too” tears came out of her eyes and she immediately wipe them off.
“I know, you are probably still in shock, that’s why you can’t see clearly. That ugly image blocked your sense of colour vision and if you ask me, you’ll just have to get over it” Joshua suggested.
“But how?”
“Find something that’ll make you very happy or you’ll need to find out what happened to your parents and make them pay, Maybe then you’ll be happy and you’ll forget about everything” he replied with a smile.
“Are you sure?” She asked cutely.
“Hmm, and I’ll always be here to help you” he added.
Carly stared at his face with a smile before lifting her head up and placing her lips on his cheeks.
Joshua just smiled and rubbed her shoulders.
Unknown to them David was watching and listening, he heard everything.
