Axton sighs for the sixth time, checking his wrist watch.
“Is everything okay Axton, you keep checking your watch”.
“I dunno Meg, something doesn’t feel right”. Axton said, looking restless.
“Something like what”. Megan asked.
“Is not something you won’t understand, you aren’t a mobster”.
“Then make me understand Axton, I caught up with things quickly, try me”.
Axton sighs.
“Is Kent”.
“Is he not back from the mission yet”. Megan asked.
“You knew about that”. Axton looks at her with a surprise face.
“See, your surprised right, I told you I have a smart brain, I mean am aware am in a Mafia clan, and it’ll be stupid for me not to know the goings of this clan right”. Megan said with a smile.
Axton sighs.
“He should be back by then, embezzling the briefcase from Pablo won’t be hard, since he doesn’t have backups, I wonder where he is”.
Megan looks at him.
“Wow, I didn’t know Mr stony face worries about other people, I thought he only cares about himself”.
“Kent is like a brother to me, of course I always worry about him”.
Megan looks at him.
“Too bad, your worrying about Kent, but is not even showing in your face…. but if your that worried about him, call him and ask him where he is”.
Axton looks at her.
“Go on Axton”. Megan said urging him too.
Axton sighs and was about calling Kent, when Fallon called him instead, and he wondered why she was calling.
He swipe the green button and place the phone in his ear.
“Hello Fallon, why did you call”.
“Boss”. Fallon said breaking into tears.
“What’s wrong Fallon, why’re you crying”. Axton asked.
“Boss is Kent”.
“What happened to kent”. Axton asked, standing to his feet, and Megan wondered what was going on.
“He was shot and right now his in a critical condition”. Fallon said crying non-stop.
“What!, Kent was shot, where is he…. Alright I’ll be there”. Axton said ending the call.
“What’s going on Axton”. Megan asked.
“Is Kent, he was shot”.
“What!!!”. Megan exclaims with eyes wide opened.

Axton and Megan arrived in the hospital and they met Fallon sitted in the hallway crying her eyes out.
“Fallon”. His voice calls.
Fallon looks at him and quickly stood to her feet.
“Boss”. She said hicupping in tears.
“Can you stop crying and tell me what the heck happened!!”. He yells at her, with his usual dangerous aura.
Even the people sitted in the hallway was trembled by his deep scary voice.
Fallon swallows her tears, trying not to cry.
“Is all my fault, if I haven’t been so grumpy, and gone with him, this won’t have happened to him”.
“Explain in details”. He orders.
And Fallon explains everything that happened.
“I may have saved your life back then, but I won’t hesitate to end your life if anything bad happens to Kent”.
Fallon silently hicups in tears, and Megan only watch.
“Am sorry Boss”. Fallon cries.
“Say that word again and am going to kill you”. Axton said coldly.
Fallon’s cleans her tears.
“It won’t happened again Boss”. She said trying to hold back her tears.
“Disappear from my sight, now!!!”. He yells at her and Fallon quickly run out of the hospital.
“Ax….”
“Not now Meg”. He said not looking at her.
“But you….”
“Are you deaf!!, Just leave me alone!!!”. Axton yells at her.
And Megan couldn’t denied the fact that she was frighten by his voice.
Megan without saying any word, leaves.
Axton sighs.
His mind was occupied with Kent’s safety.
He knew he always says he was going to kill Kent, but deep down him, he know those where empty threats.
Kent was like a twin brother to him, and he knows he won’t be able to take it, if he lost another of his love ones.
Not Kent, not Kent.
His inner mind keeping saying.
A doctor approach him, and Axton just had the Instinct he was in charge of Kent’s operation.
“How is he doctor”.
The doctor looks at Axton, and fear gripped him, on seeing his cold face.
“emmmm, who’re you”.
“A certain Kent was brought here, how is he”. His voice asked, sending shivering down the spine of the doctor.
“Well emmm…..”
“Can you stop babbling and tell me what his condition is!!!!”. Axton yells at him, and the doctor almost lost balance.
“Well, his still in….”
“Don’t even think about completing that statement, you didn’t spend eight years in the stupid medical college you went to, just to tell me his still in critical condition…you love your life right”. He asked with a scary face.
“Yes….yes…I do”. The doctor stuttered.
“Then do everything you can to save him, if he dies, your going to follow him, understand”. His deep scary voice said.
And the doctor almost pee in his pant.
“Why’re you standing here, get to work and save my friend!!!”.
And the doctor quickly leaves, going back to ER.
Axton sighs, his eyes met with the the people sitted in the hallway, and they quickly took to their heels, afraid of his stony face.

Megan kicks a soda can, the moment she came out from the hospital building.
“I can’t believe I got a little scared ealier, my heart almost went to heaven…..Can I really soften his stony self”. Megan said and sighs afterwards.
Then her eyes met with Fallon.
She was sitted in one of the hospital bench outside, sobbing softly.
Megan looks at her and sighs.
She went to soda fountain, got two can of soda and went to her.
“Here drink this”. Megan said giving her the can of soda.
Fallon looks at her and looks somewhere else, she cleans her tears, but her tears came out the more.
Megan takes in her lips, before sitting next to her.
“Crying won’t solve the issue at stake Fallon”.
“But is still my fault”.
“And how is it your fault, you never wish for all of this to happen right”.
“But still, if I haven’t let my past get the best of me, this won’t have happened to kent”.
“Past”. Megan muttered.
Fallon looks at her.
“The reason why I h@të being friends with anyone is because I was once betrayed by the only friend I trusted with my life”.
Megan looks at her.
“Thanks to her, I almost died, she took my friendship for granted, just because she wanted money, she handled me over to her boss, they were planning on selling every part of my body for money, I was brutally tortured by them, just to make sure I don’t interrupt what they want to do with my body, luckily the boss was able to save me, and he brought me to the mob, where I was determined to be strong, and the very first person who was nice and supportive to me during those times I trained, was Kent”.
“I know he acts like a jerk sometimes, but still he was still so nice to me, and that’s why if anything happens to him, I won’t blame the boss if he kills me, is all my fault, I should have gone with him…is all my fault”. Fallon said crying the more.
Megan pulls her into a hug.
“Is not your fault Fallon, and you should look at things from the positive side, Kent is going to be fine, just have faith”. Megan said patting her slowly.
Fallon hicups in tears, slowly crying in Megan’s arms.
Artemis who was rushing towards the hospital stopped on her track on seeing Megan hugging Fallon, without Fallon making an attempt to push her away.
The news about Kent getting shot was already all over the mob, and she had come to the hospital, to console Fallon, but looks like she was being consoled by someone else.
Artemis sighs and sadly leaves.
“Have you seen Fallon, what did she say, is Kent doing okay”. Lennox asked.
“Just take me back to the mob”. Artemis said.
“Is everything okay with you, you look sad”.
“Am fine, just take me back to the mob, or am going to do it myself”.
“Fine, I’ll”. Lennox said starting the car.
Fallon broke the hug some minutes later and looks at Megan.
“Everything is going to be fine, don’t worry about it okay”.
Fallon sighs.
“Can’t believe I told you about my past and even cried in your arms, what’re you exactly”.
“Hmm, am Megan, the queen of comforts”. Megan said blinking her eyes, with her hands under her jaw.
Fallon smiles.
“See, it was so easy to make you smile, I dunno why is not the same for Axton”.
“Axton, really”.
“Yes, why”.
“Do you know apart from Kent, your the only one who dare call him by his name, no one in the clan dares call him by his name, else your contented with life and wants to die”.
“Really”.
Fallon looks at her and nods her head.
“Yes Megan, so you calling him by his name and his not even making an attempt to kill you for it, is a starting point that you can be able to tame him, just keep trying”.
Megan smile.
“Will you drink this now”. Megan said giving her the soda.
Fallon smile lightly and takes the soda from her.
“Thanks Megan”.
“Your welcome Fallon, but who was the good for nothing Bîtch that betrayed you”.
“Sadly she’s also the one who landed Kent in the hospital”.
Megan looks at her.
“Magnolia”.
