? Sarah pov?
She looked at her watch,it was almost 9pm and she needed to be home early or Martha will get mad at her.
She went in search of her boss to tell him that she will be leaving soon.
“But you can’t Sarah. You still have to serve William”
“But I need to get home early sir”
” Don’t worry sarah, you will get home early. Just stay a bit, William is the biggest client ever so don’t fail me”he begged and having no option she agreed to it.
As soon as she got back to the counter she took out her phone to call Sandra and Linda but there weren’t picking.
She tried calling Martha too but its still the same.
“Sarah Hurry! William is asking for a drink,go and serve him” Betty said and she quickly went to him. Maybe she could ask him to leave early, if he did she would be free to leave.
“You really are working hard Sarah” he said as he took the drink.
“Yes I am and don’t you think its time you left?” She replied.
“Are you asking me to leave?” he asked.
“No am not, its just that I need to get home early and if am still serving you I can’t leave” she said.
“Sorry Sarah am here to enjoy myself, I don’t think I will leave early” he replied.
“But…..”
“Its a no Sarah, just go” he said and she went off,she was going to get home late, she is in real trouble.
It was well after 11pm that he got up and left the bar and as soon as he did that she quickly went to change and then she went out only to stop when he stop his car beside her.
“Get in,I will take you home”
“No, thank you ” she said and went off to get into a taxi.
?William pov?
Wow she is angry. Is it because he didn’t help her leave early but he had to do that because Jessica told him to.
He drove his car after her taxi and she got to the house, he saw her climb up the stairs.
“Martha,Sandra ,Linda. Please open up,am back” she said as she kept on knocking but there was no answer.
Weren’t they going to open the door for her, he thought.
“Please guys open up” she said as she kept on knocking , they really weren’t going to open the Door he thought as he got out of his car to meet her.
“Need any help?” he asked.
“Help for what? Just leave! ” she said to him and just then the door opened and a lady walked out.
“Martha thank God,I did…..” she couldn’t finish her sentence because Martha slapped her.
“Stupid girl. I gave you a time,a time to always come back home but you chose to come late,so stay out” she said.
“Please Martha its not what you think”
” Shut up slut! you close around nine and your just coming by Eleven, you’ve gone to sell your body for money right? then go back to where your coming from because I won’t let you taint my daughters with your trashy body ”
“Please Martha listen to me” she said.
“No and don’t touch me! get the hell from this place” she said and went back in.
He watched as she sat crying, had he really gone far by not letting her leave early? he thought as he moved towards her.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“Okay? does this look okay to you? Please leave,just go away” she yelled at him and he angrily went back to his car.
He was about driving off when the rain began and she was still sitting there crying.
He somehow felt pity for her,seeing her there made him feel sad.
The rain kept on falling and she sat there.
Doesn’t she know that she will get a cold? he thought.
“Get out of the rain you fool!” he whispered to himself and without further thinking he got out of his car, into the rain to meet her.
“You will get sick, Sarah.” he said and she starred at him.
“Why not just come with me, come and stay at my place ” he said.
What the hell?did he just say that?
