” You have no idea how happy you’ve made me right now, Violet ” he said and she smiled at him.
” Exams are approaching, don’t get distracted by me okay?” She said but he just chuckled before pulling her into another hug.
” What about your friends? Won’t they be waiting for you?” He asked still not breaking the hug.
” That’s right..” she exclaimed, disengaging from the hug.
She had totally forgotten about Jeffrey and yixuan
” I need to go now..” she said
” You will but not now ” he said taking her phone
” What are you doing?” She asked, staring at him as he manipulated her phone. It had no password whatsoever so anyone could use her phone
He scrolled through her contact list, searching for Jeffrey’s number
? GO HOME WITHOUT ME. RYAN IS GONNA BRING ME HOME..
He sent and handed the phone back to her

Jeffrey read the message on his phone and exhaled deeply
” Is everything okay? ” Yixuan asked
” Nothing.. let’s just get going..”
” What about Violet? ”
” She’s busy, see you tomorrow Yixuan” he said and walked out of class leaving her behind

” What did you do? ” Violet asked, scrolling through her phone after she saw the message he just sent
” I asked them to go home so I can spend sometime with you ”
” When did you become a busybody? ” She asked but he just smiled at her
” I’ve always been like this but no one saw it, Only Remy can tell” he sat down on the couch while she stood still, staring at him
” I know I’m charming, don’t stare too much ” he said again and she scoffed
” Charming? ” She rolled her eyes and he smiled, pulling her closer and making her seat on his laps
” What are you doing?” she whisper-yelled and made to stand but he held her down
He widened his legs so she could seat in between as he hugged her from behind
” I’m happy and sad at the same time Violet… Remy still h@tës me so much.. all I needed was someone who will comfort and believe in me..” he said in his usual calm voice
” I don’t know if I should keep blaming myself for my brother’s dead. He told not to be me..” he chuckled
” I know it wasn’t your fault. Moreover, he won’t be happy if you keep blaming yourself..”
” If I wasn’t stubborn back then, he would still be alive and probably be a successful business man right now ” he said as tears gathered in his eyes
” Are you okay?” Violet asked and made to face him but he wouldn’t allow it
” It’s comfortable this way..” he smiled, blinking back his tears
” You must be hungry.. do you have anything at home?” Violet asked
” I’ll go home soon, I don’t want you to stress yourself, we just got into a relationship..” He replied
” Wow, you’ve become a talkative… Can you please just return to the quiet Ryan? Can you switch?” She asked and stood up from his body
” Isn’t that why you love me? ” He teased
” Nah, I actually fell for your… She thought for a while
She laughed awkwardly when she remembered the first kiss with him
” My pretty face and cute smile right?” He asked
” You weren’t smiling back then but you still looked cute.. ” She replied and he chuckled.
He made her seat next to him and rested his head on her shoulder with his eyes closed
” When you’re ready to go home, let me know..” he said and she hummed a replied staring at his face.

” Did everyone go home?” Justin asked as they alighted from the car
” It’s closing hours, so it’s understandable ” Remy replied
” Well, See you guys tomorrow. I should head home now ” he said, entering his own car
” Bye ” his friends waved at him as they watch him drive off
” Should we go back now?” Justin asked
” Yeah, I even regret coming to school today..” Reece replied, entering the car

” Ryan..” Violet called but he didn’t reply
” Is he asleep? ” She wondered staring at his sleeping face
” How can he be so cute even while sleeping..” she smiled
” I know.. that’s why you fell for me.. ” Ryan replied, with his eyes still closed
” He’s awake?” She wondered and he sat upright
” You should be at the coffee shop now ” he said
“‘That’s true.. ” she replied and he stood up
” Let’s go ” he said, stretching his hands to her and she smiled before holding his. Together they left the hostel

” Claire is everything alright? ” Mara asked, after seeing her friend uneasy
” I’m fine..” she replied.
She couldn’t bring herself to tell Mara that she has been thinking of Remy after the incident at the bathroom.
‘ You must be Stüpid Claire, Remy isn’t the type of guy you should be thinking of..
‘ I know he’s cute but…
She groaned frustratingly before throwing her pillow away while Mara duck so it wouldn’t touch her
” Hey.. what was that for? ” Mara scolded
” I’m sorry Mara.. but I think I need to visit the psychiatric hospital.. I think I’m going cr@zy and if I’m not being treated on time, I might end up roaming the street of Hong Kong naked” she said and Mara shook her head
” Can you get things straight, so I can understand?” Mara asked
” How can someone who is already cr@zy say something straight?” Claire asked back and stood up
She picked it up the pillow she had thrown earlier and walked back to her bed
She sat on it staring at the pillow in her hands
” God.. ” she screamed, falling back on the bed and covering her face with the pillow
Mara didn’t bother to ask anything further.
” I’ll be spending the night at the mansion tonight.. ”
” Yeah.. you’re free..” Claire replied
