Anna faced the man and helped him get up, infuriating Axel the more. His eyes turned red instantly in anger. With just one slight push, he yanked the man away and he immediately flew off landing in a pile of dirt some metres away. He then faced Anna.
“Who the hell do you think you are to question me? How dare you dare me?” He started coldly and Annabelle immediately moved backwards in fear. He suddenly grabbed her neck angrily, his eyes feasted on her.
“When I tell you to get out? You get out!” He said in gritted teeth and Annabelle started to choke because of his tightened grip on her neck , almost immediately Axel felt like he was the one choking. He immediately left her neck and started coughing hard and his eyes dilated in shock.
Then it dawned on him, he got hurt because she was hurt. He looked up and stared at her, her coughing had now reduced and she was patting her chest continually. He found her, he found his mate. She is his mate.
Annabelle immediately wanted to run but he grabbed her by her forearm and she gasped.
“Let me go!” She cried. She was honestly so scared of him after what he tried to do. Axel pulled her closer and then he hugged her and took his nostrils to her neck trying to find a scent or something he could use to recognise that she is his mate but nothing of that sort happened. As he was busy sniffing her scent, Annabelle was angry and irritated and pushed him off immediately.
“Let go of me you monster!” She yelled as Axel stared at her. He felt nothing, he felt empty towards his supposed mate. The witch indeed laid a strong curse on him.
Annabelle stared at him with pure angst and immediately ran off. She was still running but then she stumbled and her leg hit a huge rock. Immediately that happened Axel felt a sharp pain in his legs and he groaned. Anna stood amidst the pain and her wounds immediately healed up before she ran off.
Axel couldn’t help but sigh, he found his mate after many years of searching, shouldn’t he be happy?
Well he was not, he found his mate yet he feels no sort of attraction or bond towards her. He felt empty, devoid of emotions towards her and without thinking any longer, he vanished out of sight.

In a dark room .
A figure was seen pacing up and down with a glass cup filled with blood in his hands. He took a sip out of it and sighed again. Suddenly somebody appeared before him.
“How did it go? Were you able to capture him?” He asked and the man shook his head and fell on his knees.
“We underestimated him Constantine, he is still as powerful as before even much more powerful..” The man said trembling and Constantine’s grip on the glass cup tightened and it shattered into pieces and the blood stained the ground.
“Axel! Why are you always a threat to me? No matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to get you outta my way!!” He yelled and his eyes darkened immediately.

Annabelle rushed into the house immediately panting. She couldn’t believe she was almost killed today but thankfully she managed to escape. Still panting, she fell on the couch and she held her chest. Her heart was beating very fast. She sighed and then suddenly sat up.
“He was the hoodie guy from last night and he’s also supernatural but who exactly is he? What kind is it?” She thought. She was really disturbed about the fact that she could have died. She walked upstairs and then opened the door to her room, she walked in and fell on the bed sighing.

Axel immediately appeared in front of his mansion breathing heavily. He was so d@mn angry and the lights started to flicker aggressively due to his anger. His eyes colour immediately changed to red immediately but he sighed and ran his hand into his hair calming himself down. He walked into the house and then he saw Leonel in the living room going through the spell book.
Leonel stood up immediately when he saw him.
“Hey, did you know you got me worried. You cut off the mind link immediately!” Leonel snapped at him.
“Not now Leonel!” He said angrily, not trying to growl.
“What’s the matter? You seem pissed?” Leonel asked and sighing, Axel fell on the chair.
“I found her!” He muttered without looking up.
“Who? I don’t understand?” Leonel asked with a crumpled face and Axel sighed
angrily and looked at him.
“Don’t you get it? I found my darn mate!” He snapped and a smile appeared on Leonel’s lips.
“Really? How? When?”
Axel scoffed and then stood up.
“I found her but yet I still feel so empty. No part of me is joyous or excited. I guess I’m really cursed!” Axel replied to him ignoring his earlier questions.
Leonel smiled and faced him.
“You know that’s how it’s going to be. You were cursed not to share any bond with her so that’s it” Leonel tried explaining but Axel was adamant.
“You know, I don’t need her. I need a darn mate in my life!” He snapped and turned to leave as he clenched his fists trying to calm himself because his hand is not definitely good. He could berserk when angry and do a lot of awful things.
“You do need her! You need her to save you from yourself!” Leonel yelled and hearing that, he stopped on his tracks and then slowly turned.
“What?” He asked not to get what he said clearly.
“I said you need your mate to save you from yourself. You need her to save you from the growing darkness in your heart!” Leonel said and Axel scoffed.
“I’m the king of darkness itself so how can a mere supernatural save me from what part of me?” He said but suddenly stopped talking.
“I only need her for one thing and I now know the way to get her!” He muttered with a sly smirk.
“What?” Leonel squinted his eyes, surprised with the sudden change of mind he had.
“What way? I don’t understand?” Leonel asked Curiously.
Axel said nothing but immediately vanished out of sight and Leonel sighed again and fell on the chair.
“That d@mn guy really knows nothing huh, he’s a threat to the world and nothing can stop the darkness from expanding except…” He trailed off and then shrugged before opening the spell book again trying to look for more answers.
“I need the sacred spell book to have answers to my questions” He thought.
