” Are you nuts? What do you mean his corpse isn’t there anymore?” Remy asked
” Let’s check the CCTV..” Doctor Ben said, leading the way to the power room
The footage was played but everything was normal. No sign of the body being taken out of the hospital was captured on camera.
” What’s happening doctor what do you even mean by my Ryan went missing?” Violet asked
” I don’t know, I’ve never seen or heard of such ” Doctor Ben replied, really confused
” What should I tell Leyan when she wakes up ?” Xue cried leaving the office while the others followed behind.
They all went into Leyan’s ward
” Mom, when will you wake up huh?” Remy held her hands as tears left his eyes which made Violet cry too
Was Ryan really dead? She wasn’t gonna be seeing him anymore?
She thought, tears running down her cheek like a river..
” You’ll be fine baby ” Mrs Zhan pulled her to herself rubbing her back gently
After hours of tears, they decided they were gonna do his burial even without his body. The burial was to take place the following morning.
News was sent to school about his death and everyone mourn him greatly.
? Can’t believe he died without even staring at me for once
? Who dares steals a dead person’s body?
? Ryan, why must it be you?
? I’m gonna miss him so f*cking much
Students who heard about his death couldn’t help but cry too.

∆∆ NEXT MORNING
Violet glanced at Ryan’s frame which was placed on the coffin. He looked so innocent with his broad smile like nothing bad happened in his life time
Her gazed returned to the flower in her hand and she sobbed
” Why did you have to leave me without a word? Why will you allow me bring this type of flower to you? Just why Ryan. How dare you leave me? I really h@të you for making empty promises.. I h@të you ” She cried
” How do you expect me to move on Ryan.. just how do you expect me to go to college without seeing your face?” She almost fell as she cried but Remy was fast enough to hold her
Everyone said what they wanted to say to the deceased before leaving the burial site
The family went back to the hospital but Leyan still hadn’t gain consciousness.
” Please mom, stay strong and wake up.. I know it’s hard but you still need to wake up okay?” Violet said as she held unto Leyan’s hands.
That moment, Zhang Shao walked in in tears and everyone faced his direction but immediately look away when they noticed he was the one…
” We’ll be on our way now Remy..And Claire, take care of him okay?” Violet turned to Claire and she nodded.
” Let’s go mom ” she said, as they left the ward
” Carina ” Shao called but she didn’t even spare him a glance as she walked her way out of the hospital with her daughter

∆∆ A MONTH LATER, EVERGREEN COLLEGE
It’s been a month after the dismissed of Ryan. School had resume and everything seemed to go smoothly but not for Violet though. She missed Ryan everyday that she’d see him in her dreams often. She’s always wakes up annoyed Everytime she discovers it’s all just a dream..
She spends most of her time at his hostel even though no one was there
Mrs chan walked into the class that morning with a guy who looked handsome as hell
” We have a new students. I know he’s handsome, don’t drool too much..” Mrs chan said and the class laughed.
? OMG!! he’s cute
? I hope he’s nice and not a loner
” Hi.. I’m Austin McDonald, from the states and I’m glad to be with y’all, I hope you take care of me” he smiled while the girls almost fainted
He’s smile was f*cking charming
” You can have your seat..” Mrs Chan said while Austin walked towards Ryan’s seat but Violet stopped him
” Get another seat, You can’t seat there..” she said and the class sighed at her behavior but no one said a word since they all understand she was still sulking
Austin didn’t bother to argue since he was lost staring at her
” Okay beauty..” he winked, flashing her his charming smile but she just rolled her eyes as she watch him take another seat.
Remy giggled softly from where he sat watching Violet’s drama..
” She’s really something..” he smiled, his mind drifting back to Ryan and that almost made him cried. The memory was still fresh in his mind but there was nothing he could do
It’s been a month already yet their mom wouldn’t wake up. She’s been in coma for a month now
Mrs chan smiled at them and with that, she left the class and another lecturer entered and class began fully again

∆∆ 4 YEARS LATER
Violet and everyone in her class were now in their final year.. she became friends with Austin since the lecturers wouldn’t stop pairing them together on group assignment and all that
Austin had started developing feelings for her despite how many time Jeffrey told him he couldn’t win her heart, but he still wanted to give it a try
Violet was still studying for her final exams when she heard her name. She didn’t bother to reply cause she knew who it was already

” Violet..” she heard again and she groaned frustratingly, raising her head, there she saw Ryan smiling broadly at her
” Can you stop showing yourself to me when you aren’t coming back? It’s been four years yet I can’t seem to forget you.. why the hèll are you doing this to me?” She started sobbing quietly until she felt someone tapped her
” Are you okay? ” Austin asked, then she realized she was hallucinating again and that frustrates her a lot..
” What are you doing here?” She asked cleaning her tears..
He stretched an hanky to her but she didn’t take it so he had to return it to his pocket
” You look really ugly while in tears..” he teased, sitting next to her while she scoffed
” What do you want?” She asked again..
” Nothing just wanna see you smile..” he smiled at her and she rolled her eyes..
” Don’t even think about it, I heard rumors that you’re hitting on me “she laughed
” Really?” Austin acted surprise
” Stop playing dumb will you..” she hit his head playfully and he mo@n instead which made her laugh
” You’re stûpid ” she laughed and he chuckled
No doubt he was glad she could finally laugh like this
He’s heard many stories of her love life with the late Ryan and how she’s been depriving herself happiness ever since his death
“‘I’m glad she could smile again this way..” Claire smile staring at Violet as she laughed at wh@tëver Austin was telling her
” She’s really moving on..” Yixuan appeared
“I doubt that, Violet won’t fall easily.. “Jeffrey appeared too
” Well, I support you for the very first time..” Remy said, walking to them
” Are you all spying on the soon to be couples?” Justin, Fargo and Reece said at once
” You both should get yourselves girlfriends ” Remy said
” Nah, I’ll pass ” Fargo and Justin said at once
The both stared at each other and stuck hands
Remy just shook his head at their silliness before turning to Reece
” F*ck boy finally found love but she’s giving him a hard time ” he laughed and Reece glared at him
” Keep trying, I’m sure Mimi doesn’t like you because of your Playboy attitude, change man ” Remy patted his shoulders but he slapped his hands off
” Stop joking ” he glared leaving them
” Let’s get something to drink, bills on me ” Remy said, wrapping his hands around Justin’s and Fargo’s shoulder as they left the class
