TEN MINUTES LATER★ CAROLYN’S OFFICE**
Carolyn sat on her desk while Philip and the woman sat across her.
They were facing each other .
“Speak” Carolyn said sternly without looking at them.
“I’m Sally, his…new wife-to-be” the woman said, and Carolyn looked at her.
“I know you might not believe it but he has changed a lot, he’s not the drunkard you know anymore, he’s not the same man who beats you blue black lasy year anymore, he’s not a womanizer anymore Mrs Carolyn” Sally said.
“I know I don’t deserve to be talking to you right now not to talk of asking for your forgiveness but….” Philip said and went on his knees immediately.
“Please forgive me, I know I don’t deserve it but…I really need it, even if it’s just a little bit” he pleaded and started crying.
“We were supposed to get married next month but he kept saying he’s not ready for it without your forgiveness or Frankie’s forgiveness, please….” Sally went on her knees too, and Carolyn started crying slowly.
“I know what he did was unforgivable, I know he did something that’s worth dying for, but please….. Please Mrs Carolyn” Sally continued.
Carolyn finally let out full tears, she covered her face with her right palm as she cried.

7PM★ AXEL’S PLACE**
“Daughter-in-law!” Mrs Cami exclaimed when Malia showed up unexpectedly with Axel.
They actually came here straight from work.
“Mother-in-law” she replied, rushing to hug her.
Axel smiled, watching them.
“Aww, I love how I can finally call you my daughter-in-law freely” Mrs Cami said delightfully, and Malia smiled as they broke the hug.
“My lucky charm told me you missed me, he was planning to make me come on weekend but I just couldn’t wait to see you too, that’s why I came today, and guess what?, I’m spending the night” Malia said.
“Gosh!, I’ll spoil you real bad!, Come with me!, Come come come!” Mrs Cami said happily, pulling Malia into her room
“Am I now invisible?” Axel said with a light giggle.
“Shut up and go shower, i need to have a word with my daughter” Mrs Cami said and shut the door.
“Cuties” Axel smiled as he entered his room.

STYLES MANSION**
Carolyn was stroking Frankie’s hair as he ate dinner, looking for how to start talking about Philip.
She has decided to forgive him even if she won’t be able to forget.
He has been begging her for the past eight months, she wants to bury everything and move on with her life, he won’t have any reason to disturb her too.
“Frank” she suddenly called.
“Yes mum?” He replied, dropping his fork.
“How’s the meal?” She asked, stroking his hair more.
“This will be the fifth time you asked me that, mum is there something you wanna tell me?” He asked, and she inhaled.
“Caught me”
He faced her, and she sat in front of him.
“Tell me mum”
“Actually…. Philip…..”
His expression changed immediately
“What about him?”
“Isn’t it hightime we forgive him?, I mean….it’s been eight months since he has been apologizing”
“So?, I don’t even wanna hear about it mum, I don’t wanna talk about it” he stood but she held him.
“Frank..
“You shouldn’t have talked about him, I lost my appetite” he said and took his hand from her before going upstairs
“I knew it’d be hard,” she inhaled and fell back on the chair.

HOLLANDS MANSION**
Daniel was sitting on the couch, watching TV when Beauty came downstairs.
They ate dinner together but she didn’t talk to him because of how he shouted at her in school earlier.
When he tried to talk to her, she shunned him and just went upstairs to her room, she’s just coming down since then.
“Egg” he spranged up and started walking to him.
“Stop!” She said, and he stopped walking immediately.
“Don’t come closer, I don’t want it” she said and sat on the couch.
She started watching the TV alone, and he sighed before sitting beside her.
“Egg I’m sorry” he said, and she shifted away from him.
“Egg…talk to me” he said and went closer.
“You’re crossing the line” she said, shifting away again.
“Egg….. Ok if I shout at you again, don’t talk to me for weeks ok?, I mean it” he said, and she smiled knowingly.
“Really?” She said, finally looking at him.
“Sure, I swear” he replied, and she finally went closer to him.
“I love you!” She gushed, and he hugged her back immediately, kissing her hair.
“Don’t even try shouting at me, I’mma shun you for months trust me” she said, and he smiled.
“That won’t happen”
“But I know you’re in love with miss Lissa though” she suddenly said, and his eyes widened.
He quickly broke the hug and held her shoulders.
“How did you…
“Logic!, I can read you like a book” she winked.
“What!”

MICKY’S PLACE**
“She’s still not opening the door?” Mrs Montreal asked the maids that lined up with Micky’s dinner by her door.
“No ma’am, she has been crying inside since she came back from school” one of them replied.
“And a note came from school, saying she’s suspended for a week , she wounded a student…. Daisy Crown, she hit her till she passed out” another maid said.
“Daisy crown the daughter of my friend?” Mrs Montreal gasped.
“Yes ma’am”
“What exactly happened?, Micky never gets violent without a good reason”
Micky’s cried could still be heard loudly from inside, one will think she’s being tortured with the way it’s loud.
“And … She has ordered us not to let Simon into the house” another maid said, and Mrs Montreal faced them quickly.
“Her boyfriend?”
“Yes ma’am, he has been outside in his car since 3, he refused to leave”
Mrs Montreal held her forehead tiredly.
“I’m just coming from a business trip and this moment should be spent resting, now I have to get involved in couple’s fight?, They always fight and make-up then what’s the cause of this huge one this time?” She said.
The maids kept their heads bowed till she sighed.
“Get me the spare key to her room”

AXEL’S PLACE**
After cooking dinner for Axel and Mrs Cami, Malia went to Mrs Cami’s room with her.
They both sat on the bed, Mrs Cami on front of Malia.
She was massaging her shoulders gently.
“My daughter-in-law has the best hands in Cali” Mrs Cami said, and Malia chuckled.
“Are you enjoying it?”
“Of course Malia” Mrs Cami smiled.
“Malia” she suddenly called.
“Yes mum?” She replied, and she faced her.
She held her hands and looked into her eyes.
“Please take care of my Axel” she said, rubbing her hands.
“Mum…
“He has always been a lonely child right from when he started growing up, I’ve always thought he’d never fall in love till he met you, you’re so special to him and believe me when I say he loves you a lot Mali” she said.
“I know” Malia replied gently.
“Take good care of him, don’t leave him for once ok?, I’m counting on you” Mrs Cami said.
“Mum are you…. travelling?” She asked slowly.
“Maybe” Mrs Cami smiled.

FIVE MINUTES LATER**
Malia entered Axel’s room, pondering over what she told her.
Axel stood from the bed immediately and walked to her, he slipped his arm on her waist possessively.
“After spending eternity with your mother-in-law, you finally remembered me” he said, kissing her lips.
“Are you jealous?” She giggled, hanging her arms on his shoulder.
“Yes” he replied, and she laughed.
She kissed him after she got over the laughter, then she pulled her closer with the aim of kissing her harder, but her phone rang on the bed.
He let go of her and she went to get it.
“Officer Sam?” She said, picking the call.
“Miss Malia there’s a big problem” the cop said.
Malia’s heart skipped beats immediately.
“What… Are you saying?”
“Jax, he escaped from jail after killing two of our cops”
“What!”
The phone fell from her immediately.
