Gray was already downstairs with Nora, waiting.
They kept wondering what the problem is.
Alejandro and Brenda were seated too,even though Peyton and Nolan already told them Nora’s condition.
It’s only Gray and Nora that know nothing about it.
Peyton and Nolan sat down too. Rahkel was around also.
“Sis,are you alright? Nora asked Peyton who looked somehow pale.
“I’m fine,Nora” she answered.
“Hmmm” Nora hummed.
Peyton breathed in and swallowed hard before trying to say what they called the meeting for.
“Umm…Nora…you see….I’m sorry we, or rather, I am telling you this now. You..she was still trying to say it when she felt like throwing up again.
She tried to hold it but it isn’t something you can hold back. So she ran to the restroom again and emptied her stomach again.
“Are you sure you’re okay? Nora and Nolan asked concurrently when returned back to the living room.
“I think I have a fever” she said.
“We’ll go see the doctor tomorrow, Nolan said.
“So back to what I was trying to say” she said and explained everything to Nora.
Brenda was sitting very close to her, cause she knew what would be the next thing.
She felt so bad for her child.
This is all their fault after all.
Nora went totally numb. She couldn’t feel her entire body for about five minutes.
She couldn’t move nor say anything.
“You….you mean….I can’t bear….children? She finally regained herself and asked,tears already streaming down her cheeks.
Gray quickly went to her and tried to hug.
“Don’t touch me…..do not touch me” she said and got up to leave. But Gray being a man,he was strong and so,held her with all might and pulled her into a warm and tight hug.
Everyone did.
“Look at me” Gray said and raised her teary eyes up to look at him.
“Babies or no babies, I will always love you”
“I don’t care if you can bear children or not, I believe and I know you will be able to bear children, okay? He said and kissed her forehead.
But Nora believes he said that out of pity.
Who would love a woman that cannot bear him children.
“I know you’re saying this out of pity.
“But don’t worry,I will be fine” she said and broke from the huh,running to her room.
She jammed it after her and locked herself in.
“Nora….Nolan and Gray called as they kept banging on the door.
They were about breaking the door when Gray’s phone dinged and a message popped up.
A message from an unknown number.
“DROP THAT CASE IF YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE” it read.
