Violet teleport away right after Charles’s confession, she was unsure of the right word to use and all she could think of was an escape. He was right, Maxwell was her first love. She was too preoccupied with studies and cheerleading group when she was in high school that she never gave dating a thought. She was literally friends with almost all the guys in her level that she considered all of them as her partners and she even arranged blind dates for them among the other ladies. Rumors went around that she was a lesblan but she knew better than paying attention to it. Her parents were strict with her school performance, so adjusting her time through her tight study schedule, and also the leader of the cheerleading group was her major priority until her father introduced her to the family’s business giving her more than enough things to do with her time.
After her successful graduation from high school with flying colors, she attended college and met Maxwell. Ella has been telling her how Maxwell has feelings for her and always convinced her to consider him but she never gave it a thought until she drunkly spent the night with him. From pretending to be couples, she grew fond of him and he asked her out before they could even pretend to end thier fake relationship. She rejected his proposal at first, but he didn’t give up and Ella also made her realize that she had feelings for him until she eventually gave him. He was the best boyfriend to her, they even won ton of couples recognition in college until her parents find out about their relationship. They threatened to tear them apart but she stood firm as the stubborn child she was. She fought for Maxwell through everything even when her parents threatened to stop funding his scholarship. And after she graduated from college, she refused to work with them if they don’t hire Maxwell. After much persuasions and confrontations, they eventually gave in because Maxwell has the qualifications but that didn’t make them approve him. They dated for 15 years hoping for her parent’s approval until the accident happened.
Maxwell was her first, and after she saw him with Ella, she made up her mind that she even if she finds an escape out of their bondage, she will never consider love again. She was unable to escape, and end up becoming a vengeful ghost, and her mind is filled of vengeance even if she get carried away at times, but that didn’t mean she has a heart that can love anyone because she is d£ad, so as her heart. However, she didn’t want to hurt Charles feelings, so all she could do was leave, with hoped that he won’t bring it up again once she returns.
She wandered around for few hours to check on Ivy who was on a date with Jon and Ella who was enjoying her win until she got the information that Maxwell escaped her the detention centre.
“What?!” she shouted, and called Mr. Josh immediately.
Violet chuckled pleased by thier distress and she wandered around till it was late contemplating if she should return to Charles, when Jayden appeared.
“Here you are,” Jayden said, and she looked at him.
“Hi,”
“How long do you plan to run?”
“I don’t follow,”
“You do. You rejected Charles, so you don’t know how to face him,”
“I didn’t reject him,”
“Your reactions is worst than rejection,”
“Did he tell you?”
“No. I just guessed,”
“What do I do now?”
“Nothing. Charles is not even affected by it,”
“Charles is a good person, why would he fall for a ghost?”
“Beat me,” he muttered, and she looked at him. “If you weren’t a ghost, let’s assume that you’re still alive and found yourself in all this mess, would you’ve considered his feelings?”
“I don’t want to imagine that. All I know is I can’t have feelings for anyone. I’m a ghost, a vengeful one. The only feeling I have is revenge,”
“You were quiet upset when you thought Charles went on a blind date,”
“You think I was jealous?” she laughed, “There’s no way, I was just irritated by his lifestyle. Charles is really a handful, it took me a lot of effort to get him to change, and now this? I didn’t make him leave that lifestyle to develop weird feelings,”
“You’re right. The only thing I always think about was how to make my wife live a better life and after Charles helped me with that. Only an evil spirt can develop selfish ambitions. Right now, I feel like I can finally have some peace,”
“You’re leaving?”
“Not until you fill your vengeance. I understand how you feel right now, I felt the same way and I also want you to feel the way I’m feeling now,”
“Thank you, Jayden,”
“But we’ve to do something about Charles, even if he doesn’t show it, we both know he is hurting,”
“What do I do?”
“Beat me,”
“You are not helping at all,”
“If this will make you feel better, listen. Maxwell already gave in to our request, he agreed to help,”
“That’s a relief,”
“You don’t really look pleased,”
“How am I supposed to react? All of these happened because of him. He played a role in this so as Ella,”
“But it’s still a good thing that he chose to help,”
“Yeah, I should be relived,” she muttered, doubting her words.
Jayden held her hand and they both appeared in Charles room together.
“He is not here, he must be in the living room,” Jayden said and hold her hand but she pulled away.
“You go first,” she muttered.
“You don’t still know how to face him?” Jayden asked, and she nodded.
“Then you shouldn’t have appeared in my room,” Charles said, coming out of the bathroom and they both gasped.
“Charles…” she shuddered.
“Maxwell agreed to help us so we will get very busy later and won’t have time to discuss my feelings. Remember, I still have that meeting with my father and others. This is not a time to be awkward around each other,” Charles said, and she looked at him, speechlessly.

Charles joined Maxwell in the basement and Maxwell exhaled heavily the moment he went in.
“Hi, Maxwell, where were we?” Charles winked.
“I already promised to help you, but I also want you to be honest with me,”
“Honesty is rich coming from you. Have you ever been honest in your life?”
“I have never met you in my life, so I can start with you,”
“Ok?”
“I want to know how I ended up here. How did you do you?”
“How do you think?”
“I am asking you that,”
“It’s not a matter of how, but will you believe me?”
“Don’t tell him, Charles,” Violet said.
“Just say it,”
“That’s my weapon. I can use it against you the moment you sly me,” Charles said.
“Are you being serious right now?”
“How can I beat Ella? Do you’ve any evidence against her? The least Mr. Marson and I have is a footage of you and Ella carrying Violet out of the house. We would have used that, but we thought against it because you’ll be the scapegoat. But I’m more curious on how everyone believes that she dled in a car accident,”
“It was all Ella’s doing. She and Mr. Josh put her in the car and started it. They made it look that way,”
“She was already d£ad and they faked that accident. It was all their doing, I wasn’t even aware of that,”
Violet sniffed in gently and teleported away unable to handle the confession.
“Do you have any prove?”
“I have some the proof of the messages I exchanged with Ella and Mr. Josh when Violet was locked up, if I confess to everything, that should be able to proof my statement along with the video you have ,”
“How can we get it?”
“It’s with Ella. The police returned my belongings and I gave it to Ella,”
“I’ll go search for it,”Jayden said.
“But you can’t even hold it,” Charles said, and Maxwell looked at him.
“Pardon?” Maxwell asked.
“At least we will know where it is,” Jayden said, and Charles nodded.
“We will go get it my way,” Charles said, and Maxwell looked at him.

Jayden appeared at Ella’s house and started searching everywhere but he couldn’t even move anything, he tried to possess Ella but just like the last time he tried, he failed. Her body isn’t vulnerable.
He wandered around thinking of how to go about it when he saw a phone in the cabin she opened.
“Yes, that should be it,” he thought, and teleported away to report back to Charles.

Ella went to her bar to drink, she couldn’t think straight after she heard the news of Maxwell’s escape without a trace and the police are everywhere searching for him.
He has no family or friends so she can’t help but wonder who helped him out and where he could be. She have checked all the properties the Holt own but he knows better than hiding in any of them.
She went to her room later to take his phone to check if she can find any helpful contacts but she found none.
“If Maxwell is out there, he is plotting a way to drag me down with him,” she thought, “But how can he do that? His testimonies will be baseless without evidence, so he must be looking for evidence somehow,” she grumbled.
Looking through his chats, she saw the messages they exchanged when they abducted Violet and gasped.
“Why did he still this?” she thought and instantly think of destroying it.
She wiped off all the messages on his phone including the backup messages before she reset the phone back to factory settings.
She sighed in relief and smashed the phone to the ground when she felt a presence in the room.
She looked up in fear, and almost passed when she saw Maxwell
“Max-well,” she shuddered in disbelief.
“Hi, Ella. Do you’ve to destroy that?”
“What? How… how.. how did yiu get there?” she shuddered in fear.
“You’ll have to figure that out on your own, and mind you, that’s not the only evidence I have. Be safe as you await judgment,” having said that, he vanished.
“What…” she slurred, she couldn’t control her body and collapsed on the ground.
“Am I beginning to see things?” she thought, and heard a knock on the door, she opened the door and was shocked to see Maxwell there.
