Cerlia sat down on the floor thinking and drinking at the same time
she was already drunk but didn’t want to stop
Exton walked into the house. It’s been days since he last saw her and she wouldn’t pick his calls too. She had come to detest him so much
” Raphael?” Cerlia called drunkenly when she saw him
She went to him and hugged him tight but Exton didn’t hug back
His aim was to come satisfy his urge but the girl he’s seeing now doesn’t look anything like the cerlia he knew and wouldn’t want to take advantage of her
” Raphael you came. I’m deeply sorry I lied to you.. I’m sorry I cheated on you, I’m sorry” she cried
” Don’t leave me for her please, I might end up dying.. ” She wept and Exton exhaled..
That was the first time he’ll see her cry that way and he immediately felt bad.
He pulled her away from his body and left the house while she fell to the ground
” Please don’t leave, I can’t let you be with her. I might end up doing something bad if you do.. so please don’t leave Raphael..” she cried untill she fell asleep.
” Raphael..” She kept calling from her sleep

Raphael walked to the maids quarter and stood at the door watching them hug and cry with the girl who got fired
” Hey..” he drew their attention and they turned to him, some of them drooling at his handsomeness..
” You can stay okay? I’ve spoken to her.. ” he said to the girl but she stared at him like he was joking
” I think you don’t know Godiva, she’s a devil, she doesn’t listen to apologies and even when she’s at fault, she always put the blame on others. Seriously, I really h@të her but… The maid trailed off
” But what ” Raphael asked..
” The pay is really the reason why I’m still here.. I have to take care of my mom and brother with my earnings. She pays twenty thousand dollars, other people don’t usually pay that much”
” Her midnight laughs is what I h@të” Another said
Raphael wasn’t even surprised cos he was sure Godiva was capable of doing anything since the day she asked him to jump down the bridge
Godiva turned around and started leaving. She has listening to them too
She couldn’t believe what her employees were saying..
She stood in front of Alora’s door and exhaled before going in
” Hey..” she called lowly
” See who came to see me..” Alora smiled as Godiva sat beside her
” Am I really that wicked and heartless?” She asked and Alora raised a brow
” Why? Did something happen? If yes, then I won’t lie.. you’re very wicked, you know what they call you? Devil’s bride ” Alora laughed and she scoffed
” Who cares anyway? They should call me wh@tëver they want” she stood up
She made to leave when Alora spoke up
” Diva.. do you like the new guy? She asked and Godiva looked at her
” Do I look like I like him?”
” I dunno, I’m just asking because I think I like him but he doesn’t seem to have my time.. ” She said
” Really, you do? Tell him how you feel then..”
” You mean you don’t like him even one bit?” Alora raised a brow
” Stop joking, Why would I like someone like him?” She grimaced and Alora chuckled
” If you love him make sure you tell him lora.. he’s quite a nice person I must say ” She nodded her head
” You don’t see BAD BOY boldly written on his forehead like you did to Mike?” Alora laughed pulling Godiva in a hug
” Silly thing.. ” Godiva stood up, heading for the door
” But I’m scared of getting rejected.. ” Alora muttered
” Then he must be stupid for rejecting someone like you..” Godiva replied which made Alora chuckled..

” Gosh it’s been two days since I’ve been in school” vespertine muttered as he went through the school blog..
” Wow, I’m a celebrity. The girls can’t wait to see me” he sn!gg@ed
He kept scrolling until he saw Jerry’s message
? You can’t take her from me, We’re very close now..
He laughed after reading the message
The message was attached with a picture of Jerry and Gift at a park
” Dumbass, I’ll make you cry” he laughed before exiting the blog and resuming his game

” If I’m to stay under thesame roof with her, then I need to change her for good..” he muttered going to Godiva’s room where he met her busy on her laptop
He sat next to her and turned the laptop to himself, looking at what she was doing..
” You came to scold me because of the maids?” Godiva asked but he didn’t reply cos his attention was on her laptop
” What do you even know…” She tried closing the laptop but he stopped her
” Let’s strike a deal.. “he finally said after going through the info on the laptop..
” My sister, she likes you.. Alora likes you” She said
” Let’s make this perfume together and if it sells more than all the others you’ve been making, then you’ll have to listen to wh@tëver I say, yeah?” He asked, ignoring her
” See who wants to teach me how to run a business..” She scoffed, closing her laptop..
” Your ingredients are good but it lacks something unique..”
” Okay deal.. Seems I’ll be going to Japan for business will you like to come along?” She asked
” Let’s deal with the perfume first, I can’t have you boss me around..” he replied and she scoffed
” Such an arrogant guy.. I wonder what Lora saw in him.. ” She mumbled and Raphael stood up, ready to leave
” I told you lora likes you, aren’t you gonna say something?”
” I can’t date your sister neither can I date you..”
” Who said I’ll date you? I rather date a dog or remain single if you’re the only guy left on Earth”
” No one else can date you if I don’t cos only I can take your nonsense..” he replied walking out of her room leaving her dumbfounded…
He entered again
” Don’t think too much, you’re totally not my style. Eat some food, you’re too skinny” he flashed her a cute smile before leaving again
” Skinny? ” She blinked staring at her door to see if he will come again
” I’m skinny? Something is definitely wrong with his eyes ” she scoffed loudly, opening her laptop
A small smile escape her lips unaware and vespertine chuckled seeing her flushed cheeks
” She’s blushing, unbelievable ” he smiled, remembering how the other guys ran away from her because of her attitude
He shut her door gently and went back to his room
He remembered the message from Jerry earlier and he laughed
” I’ll take her from you tomorrow unless I’m not vespertine..” he smirked going through his message only to see tons of messages..
He isn’t the type of person who replies to text
Most of his messages were from Trisha.. and He smiled remembering her embarrassed faced the day he turned her down

Raphael sat down on the bed, thinking about the books his parents wrote when they we still alive
his mom was a master perfumer too while his dad was a great help to her business but they had to die even before showing their newly made perfume to the world..
He knew more about perfumes cos he was always with her in her lab as a child and he read most of her books
” I should make her obey me at all cost..” he was determined
Alora entered his room unannounced
” What do you want Alora” He asked
” Hey.. ” she smiled sitting next to him on the bed
” Godiva told me already ” he began
” I wouldn’t want to get your hopes high Alora. I would have fallen for you a long time ago but I don’t just see myself doing that. I’ve never thought of you that way” He said and she swallowed hard
” It’s fine, I understand.. I know you can’t give your heart out because of the incident with your ex. ” she laughed awkwardly
” I’m sorry..” he said again and she nodded, leaving his room
