Rehana was already emotional, as her tears flowed down, Jake couldn’t believe he would ever hear such from her
He was happy that he still had a space in rehana’s heart for him
“You won’t die with me” he muttered
“Jaycee come to my pockets now” he said
“W..what?” He asked
“Hurry up now” he ordered
“Oh… Okay” he replied and ran towards them
“There’s a pocket at my knee region, hurry up and get the dagger inside of it” he said as Jaycee did exactly as he was instructed to
“W..what do I do with it?” He asked
” cut the ropes”
“B..but my hands are not that long to reach there” Jaycee said
” throw the dagger to the robes now” he said
“To the rope? But that would only worsen everything, besides I’m not good with throws” he said worriedly
“Just do it now already” he urged him
“Oh..okay,..” He threw the knife to the ropes, though he missed it, just then jake closed his eyes tightly ,
It turned out to be that jake controlled the knife with his mind, and then instead of the knife passing of the rope, it reversed back and cut off the rope, making jake land roughly on the ground
“Jake!!” Rehana called running to him
” are you okay?” She asked worriedly as he stared to her, her concerns and tears only proved how much she loved him,
“Get me some water please” she said as Liana brought a water bottle
“C’mon have some” she said and helped him in drinking it
“Well it turned out to be that I was the hero of the day” Jaycee said coming forward with smiles all over him
rehana stared deeply into his eyes, her mind drifted back to all what she had said. and realized she spilled out somethings no one was supposed to hear, Jake slowly stood up as rehana got up
Seeing how everyone looked at her, she could tell what was in their mind, and this was what she never wanted to happen
“I know everyone’s all surprised based on what I said earlier, though I said it all with emotions, but none of it were from my heart” she said and turned to Jake before staring to the other group members
“Are you serious rehana?” Liana asked
“I said all that just so we do not loose Jake, I made it seem as though i care so as to make sure he does not loose hope in living, and I think my plan worked so that’s all to it” she said,
Jake felt hurt when rehana denied her feelings she do confessed of him, but then he didn’t give a d@mn about her, so why should he feel hurt if she denied how she felt for him
He can never love her, and that was it..
“Thanks bro for the help, If it were not for you then I would’ve probably being trapped and dead” Jake said as Jaycee felt elated, he was pleased that he impressed and safe Jake, how long he had longed for an opportunity like this to get closer to Jake, and now his wish has being granted
“I’m so happy you’re safe Jake” the girl named moon said with smiles,
“same here” Liana said
He then turned to rehana,
” and Thank you for giving me hope to live, so tell me what’s your price” he asked as she furrowed a brow
“What do you mean?”
“You didn’t do all that for free did you?” He asked,
“I did it to save someone’s life and not for money” rehana corrected
“I don’t accept free stuffs, I’ll send you my credit card, you can get what you want from it” he said,
“But then Jake I’m somehow scared of this woods, I mean they must be some danger lurking ahead of us, what if the others here are in danger” jaycee asked
“This trap was set by someone” Jake said as they all turned to him
“The school’s authority had made sure to check the woods and get rid off it from and sort of danger” Jake said
“Then who would be responsible for setting a trap” Liana asked
“That is what we are yet to find out, this woods is being attacked by someone or something very dangerous, and not until we get to know who exactly this is, we’re all in danger” Jake said

Joron kept on smiling as he was deep in his own thoughts
“Its time for your end Jake, I’m sure by now your group will be hauling your dead body cause the knife being placed on that tree is no ordinary sword” he muttered
Joron had secretly trapped the path way in which Jake’s group were going to walk in, he knew Jake being the leader Will be infront so he was sure of getting him killed
“Joron we got to find a silver” one of his group members alerted him
“Oh wow let me see” he said
“And just like this, my own plan will surely WOR” he said in a mutter

“This night will be night in which I’ll end her, I’ll use the stone in exposing her, after which I’ll have to be using my sword to end her, I’ll kill her in front of so many people and still be praised for my bravery… Cause in this case I’ll be seen as a hero and she as the beast” Jacqueline thought to herself and released a smirk

Rehana was about to take a step forward she she felt the ground she was stepping on was going in more deeper, she immediately pulled out her leg and called the attention of the others
“I was getting swallowed by the soil” she said as moon and Liana inspected the area carefully, though it was vovered with green grasses, but it looked quite suspicious in a sort,
“I think we start digging” moon said, as they got their dipper and spade and begun working o. the area
All three had begin digging deeper
“Ha, I think I’m stressed out already, we’ve being digging for long now, and I think its 6 feet deep already and still nothing of a sign to show thats theres a gold being buried here” moon complained
“Yeah I think moons right” Liana added
“We shouldn’t lose hope” rehana said and digged once more and to her surprise she got a view of a little glittering stuff deep down in the hole they created
“I think we found it” she said and jumped in, digging it with her fingers
“Here” she said showing the bright glittering gold on her hands
“Wow, wow wow” moon exclaimed,
“Guys we found the gold” moon said calling the attention of the other two guys that were some distamce away from them..
“Really” Jaycee asked and ran to them
“Wow you girls really did” he said in a stunned manner as Jake remained muted
“Its so beautiful” Liana complimented
“I suggest we look more harder, we could.get another one” Jake said
” but its way dark and late already” Liana and moon chorused
“C’mon Jake , we still have more days to find this gold, I think we should be finding the other team members now, if they’d find another one good, but if not then I suggest we leave already” Jaycee said as it seemed as though everyone took sides with him
“Find then, let’s go look for the others” he said
“C’mon I’ll hold the gold” Liana said as rehana gave it to her, and they begun moving
All of a sudden dark smokes covered the whole air, and at the same time it was as though an intruder had attacked one of their teammates,
“Rehana” Jake called trying to make sure she was in good hands
After a while the smoke had died down,
Rehana was in Jake’s arms, moon was in Jaycee’s arms, but Liana
She was nowhere to be found!!..
