Albert turned to face Teddy who was also surprised, he glanced at the guard in the front. The guard was quick to move to Teddy’s front and he received the gunshot instead. He fell down flat on the floor, dead.
The children, Jewel and Mrs Murphy also rushed out from the orphanage. They all gasped at what they saw.
Albert blinked rapidly, trying to process what happened.
“Sir Teddy, are you alright?” He asked with concern boldly written on his face
The other guard rushed forward, one of them squatted to feel the pulse of the man on the floor
“He’s dead” He reported bringing out his phone, he called for an ambulance
“Let’s go” Albert tapped Teddy, who was still in shock

THE STARS MANSION**
*REPORTING LIVE….. A GUNSHOT WAS DETECTED AROUND AN ORHANAGE LEAVING ONE DEAD*
Arnold eyes widened as he turned to face Ryan, who also glanced at him. They quickly brought out their phone and place a call on Alberts
“Tell me it’s not true…… The gunshot, the death record,,,,it’s not that orphanage right?” Arnold asked
“Unfortunately, it is” Albert explained all that happened
“How is Teddy? has the guard been moved to a morgue?”
“The doctor recommended rest to him due to the shock and the guard……. he has been moved to the mortuary, his families has been summoned”
“Send the hospital’s address, we’ll be there in a jiffy” Arnold hung up

HOSPITAL**
“How you feeling now?” The doctor asked
“I’m totally fine….. I wasn’t the one who got hurt remember?” Teddy rolled his eyes
“Then,,,, Detectives are here to ask you dome questions”
Just then the door opened and a stern looking woman came in with a man, obviously her assistant
“I’m detective Nicole, I’ll be handling the murder case” She said frankly, stretching her hand for an handshake
“I don’t do handshakes” Ted replied coldly
“Okay….. I’ll just do straight to the point” She tuck her hairs behind her ear, feeling embarrassed
“Do you have any suspect? like do you have an idea who would try to harm you?”
“I don’t know”
“Like you have no enemies at all?”
“I don’t know” He replied, turning to look away
“Sir, let’s cooperate and make this investigation work”
“That’s it, I’m not interested in the investigation. You can leave and make sure you shut the door behind you” Teddy closed his eyes
“Do you think I’m not capable? I’m an experienced detective, I’ve won lot of cases both in the U.S and here in Korea”
“Twenty detectives had died trying to unveil this case, I’m fed up of it. Just leave, don’t try put yourself in danger” He replied, a tear drop from his eyes.
“I totally understand, trust me on this. I’m not dying, No one will” Nicole reassured
Teddy turned to look at her
“We’ll find the killer of your parents and the one who tried to harm you. Just cooperate with us” She added
Tears started rolling down from his eyes like a rushing tap.
“I guess you need to be alone…. We’ll contact you some other time” She patted him on his shoulder before leaving
On her way out, she saw the other members of the STARS outside
“He needs to be alone” She announced, bowing slowly
“Is he alright? Did you say anything hurtful?” Sir Eddy said worriedly
“No…. Not at all, he’ll be fine” She smiled lightly before leaving. Arnold suddenly gasp following her
“Hey” He called, grabbing her by her arm
“Any problem?” She inquired, staring at him blankly
“I…. I’ll like to have your number” He winked with a smile
“I’m not giving it to you. Any thing else?”
He blinked rapidly not believing what he just heard.
“You say?”
“I thought you are only dumb, I didn’t know you are deaf too?” She snapped, taking her hand from him
“Do you know who I am? I’m Arnold, popular star. You wouldn’t want to miss such opportunity to dine with me. Out of the numerous girls in the world, I chose you. Let’s make this work, okay?” He cooed, advancing closer to her
“Are you done?” She interrupted, checking her wristwatch
“Huh? Done with what?” He raised an eyebrow
“I’m not that jobless you know…… I’ve got things to do” She bit her bottom lips
“Am I a disturbance to you?”
“Yeah, I’m glad you know that already” She nodded and walked away, leaving him agape
“What just happened??” He blinked rapidly

“Do you need to be here?”Amelia muttered
“Yeah, dad’s worried and I need to present myself to him physically to prove that I’m alright” Ted replied
“What about me? Why am I here?”
“I need you around me often, besides….. Brielle wants to meet you” He answered
He inputted the passcode and the door opened automatically
“Brother” Brielle rushed to hug him, he stopped her up
“How you doing? You’ve gotten heavy, I’ll stop carrying you” He smiled, putting her down
“Are you getting tired of me already? Why will you stop carrying me?” She pouted
“Really? Even when you are twenty I’ll continue carrying you?”
“Yeah yeah….. Even till when I’m a hundred years old” She retorted
Amelia chuckled from behind him, that was when she noticed her
“Pretty”She screamed, making Teddy block his ear
“Do you want to burst my eardrum?” Teddy snapped
“Are you guys officially dating now? You’ve chosen the right person” She exclaimed, hugging Amelia tightly. Her small arms wrapped around her waist
“Wh@tëver you think it is” Teddy shrugged, shocking Amelia
“You see, he does not mind. So… From now on, you are officially my brother’s girlfriend” Brielle shouted making Flora rushed downstairs
“She’s Ted’s girlfriend”
“Woah really, I’ll prepare something for you. Let’s have dinner together, show her around Ted” Flora said
“Why me!!?”
“Who else but you?” Flora snapped

“This is my favorite place, this fountain” He said
“Show, it’s beautiful” She exclaimed. She mistakenly pressed a button and water started gushing out.
The water poured on them like rain petals. Teddy moved closer to her, pulling her by her waist. He pecked her lips slowly, bitting her bottom lips in the process. A gasp escaped her lips and he fitted his lips into hers. Their tongues fighting against each other, he kissed her softly before pulling away
“Stay by my side always” He muttered, pulling her into a hug.
Finn folded his fist tightly, watching them
“If I can’t get you Amelia, no one will” He said, taking his phone.
