Back in the king’s chamber,queen Sofia was still in tears. She kept crying and touching Adelaide’s tummy but the king couldn’t calm her down either.
He was lost and totally confused,he doesn’t even know where to start from,just then Carl came in
“Your Majesty,Lady Matilda is here” Carl said
“Tell her to go away” King Lucian said
“But your majesty,she insisted on talking to you,I think she have something to say” Carl said
“Let her in” Lucian said and Carl went out again
Soon,he returned with Matilda.
King Lucian turned to Matilda
“You have something to say?” He asked
“I pushed her” Matilda said at once and Carl gasped
King Lucian’s eyes widened and Queen Sofia looked up
“You did what?” Lucian asked
“I said,I pushed her” Matilda said again
Lucian started walking closer
“Why did you do that?” He asked
“Because she was the one who terminated my pregnancy too!!” Matilda yelled and immediately Lucian rushed toward her and grabbed her neck,he pushed her to the wall angrily and Carl was totally shocked to see the king that way. He could sworn it’s his first time seeing him making such an angry face
His eyes are so red and his veins could be seen from his neck down to his hands
“What….what did you just said that you did again??” He asked
“I pushed her,and I wish she looses that child” Matilda said
“How dare you!!!!” Lucian yelled and strangled her in a crazy way
Matilda grabbed his hand and started gasping for air
“You…….killed my….child??? What gut!!!” He choked her even more,his hands trembling,he wanted to kill her at that moment
“Carl!” Queen Sofia shouted and Carl immediately rushed closer
“Your majesty…..”
“Stay back!!” Lucian yelled and Carl immediately stayed back
Matilda was already coughing out blood
Queen Sofia rushed to the scene
“Son…..son no please” she started rubbing his back
Lucian released Matilda and she fell on the floor,coughing and gasping for air
Queen Sofia walked to Matilda and gave her two heavy slaps
“Animal!!” She yelled
“She killed my child too!!” Matilda screamed
“Take her away and throw her into the deepest side of the dungeon,chain her up and start by lashing every part of her body,don’t stop until you receive another order from me” King Lucian said to Carl
“Yes Your Majesty”
“No!!!!! You can’t do that to me!!!!” Matilda screamed,struggling as Carl dragged her up
“Carry her!!!!!” King Lucian yelled
Carl carried Matilda and walked out immediately
King Lucian didn’t know when tears started rolling down his eyes
He sat down,roughing his hair
“I’m such a fool,I should have thrown her out before now,I should have……”
“Don’t blame yourself son” Queen Sofia said
Lucian took a glance at Adelaide
“I can’t believe she was pushed down the stairs,,it hurts” He cried
Queen Sofia wiped her tears and started patting his back

Queen Sofia left the King’s chamber in total heart break,she couldn’t even control her tears
“Welcome queen……”
“Get out!!!! Everyone of you!!!!” She yelled at the maids when she got to her suite
They immediately rushed out
Queen Sofia sat down
“I can’t believe this happened,why!” She cried
She kept crying,it’s even more painful than she had thought.

NIGHT★DUNGEON**
Carl entered the dungeon,it’s an underground cell and it’s only used for criminals,not the other palace cell which is just used to punish offenders.
He walked into the deepest side and there was Matilda lying on the ground helplessly,she was chained,about five guards are there with long whips in their hands
Her body was totally pealed and blood was all over her,even her face wasn’t left out,she was in serious pain
“Why did you stop? Did you get any order from the king?!” Carl asked angrily
“No commander…..”
“Continue!” He yelled
Immediately the guards started lashing Matilda again
“Stop!!!!!”
“Ahhhhhh!!!!!!”
“Nooooo!!!!!”
Matilda’s screams echoed all through the dungeon
Carl glared at her one last time before leaving
He walked straight to his room,he was surprised to me Lisa there. She was just waking up
“Lisa?” He called
“It’s…..night already” Lisa muttered but then she noticed Carl’s mood
“Did something happened?” She asked
“Lady Adelaide,lost her pregnancy” He said
“What?!!! She was pregnant??!” Lisa shouted
“I’m not surprised you don’t know,even the king wasn’t aware,I think she was just about telling him. And then….Matilda pushed her off the stairs” Carl said and Lisa’s eyes widened
She immediately jumped down from the bed
“Where’s she?!!” She asked
“King’s chamber” Carl replied and Lisa rushed out hurriedly

KING’S CHAMBER**
King Lucian was sitting on the bed,he was holding Adelaide’s hand while staring at her face in worries. What will he tell her when she’s finally awake,how will she take the news??
He was still thinking when slowly,Adelaide opened her eyes but she was still in pains,she Mõ@ned and squeezed her face
“Adelaide” Lucian called
Adelaide came back to reality as if she just remembered,she touched her tummy
“How did you find me?” She asked weakly
“You were unconscious,but Diana already attended to you” Lucian muttered
“Is my child okay?? I wanted to tell you about it in the morning but you were busy,I was on my way here when someone suddenly pushed me down the stairs” Adelaide explained and Lucian bite his bottom lip,unable to look at her
“But our child is fine right?? Huh?” She asked
Lucian looked up
“Listen Adelaide…….”
Adelaide immediately shook her head
“What…..why should I listen?? I just asked a question Lucian,is our child okay??” She touched her tummy and Lucian looked away
“Lucian!!!” Adelaide called
“I’m sorry” He muttered and Adelaide’s heart shattered into pieces
“Sorry?” She asked at the point of tears
“I promise,we will surely make another baby……”
“No!!!!!!!!!!!” Adelaide screamed
The door burst open and Lisa ran in
“Adelaide,are you okay?? I just heard…..”
“Leave me alone!!!! Stay away from me!!!” Adelaide yelled as Lisa tried touching her
“Bestie……”
“I’m not your bestie,please stay away from me.. Lucian tell her to leave” Adelaide said in tears
“Lisa,just come back later” Lucian said
Lisa blinked out tears and ran out of the room
“Ella….”
My baby!!! Bring him back to me…..please” Adelaide said in tears
Lucian tried hugging her
“No,leave me alone. I want my baby back….” She was crying bitterly even though she was still feeling the sharp pain in her tummy
“Adelaide please” Lucian hugged her forcefully
“My baby!!! No!!!”
She continue screaming and struggling from his grip until her body became still
Lucian immediately broke the hug,her eyes were shut
“Adelaide….Adelaide!!!!!” He shook her but it was all still,her head fell on his chest lifelessly
“Adelaide!!!!” King Lucian screamed
