THE STARS MANSION**
Amelia chuckled within and shifted away from Jewel.
“What are you doing here?” Ted wore a crumpled look
“I… I…This is a ghost, what you’ve just seen is your imagination. No one came here” Jewel said more like a chant while trying to push Teddy inside his room
“Tsk…. I’m not a kid, that can’t work for me. Were you the one who brought her?” He turned to look at Amelia, who had her face buried on the floor
“I’m sorry…. she insisted on coming, it wasn’t my intention” Amelia protested
“My girlfriend” Ted smiled at Jewel, who was already sweating profusely despite the air conditioner present. His enchanting smile which brought out his dimples made her palm sweaty
‘Why the hell is he calling me that?’ She screamed within
“Hmm…. my… name…. I’m Jewel, that’s my name” She finally mustered the courage
“The children at the orphanage calls you by girlfriend and you always run anytime you see me. Is a girlfriend suppose to hide from her partner?” He moved closer to her but she shifted backwards
“That was a mistake, I didn’t tell them to call me that. I was misquoted” She said quickly
“I hold nothing against you……Cutie” He replied and her eyes widened in surprise
“I’m cute?” She said more like a question, palming her face and at the same time acting cute.
“Yeah… Even more than your friend” He said the last part in a whisper and she blushed deeply. Her face had turned from pink to red and age suddenly slumped but Teddy was fast to grab her.
“Jewel” Amelia gasped loudly, she rushed to her and shake her vigorously but Jewel didn’t even bulge
“I think she fainted” Teddy announced, checking her pulse
“Fainted? What did you tell her?” Amelia queried
“Nothing much but the truth is….. it will be abnormal if she does not faint, come on, I’m Teddy. It’s normal for girls to faint anytime they see me” He bragged, carrying Jewel in a bridal style. He started walking down the stairs and Amelia followed behind. He dropped her on the sofa in the living room
“But I didn’t faint….. I guess I’m the only one in my right state of mind” Amelia rolled her eyes, taking her seat beside the sleeping Jewel
“Right state of mind? That’s not true, it was because you are strange. You are a strange type and at times I wonder if you are from earth”
“What!!?”
“And that was what made me fall for you. Your simplicity,your smile, your honesty…… You made me drip, I guess. I tried staying away but you keep drawing me close with your infectious smile, the way you reason….. You probably set a trap for me which I got caught in and luckily, I don’t want to be free. Let me continue to be trapped in you, I don’t mind” He confessed
She turned her face away trying to hid her blush. Just then Jewel woke up.
“Amelia, I had a good dream” She said immediately
“A dream? which is?”
“I saw Teddy in my dream, he said that I am cute” Jewel smiled, staring into the space. She turned and her gaze locked with Teddy, who was staring at her inquisitively.
“This is still a dream right?” She said to no one in particular and meant to faint again when Amelia gave her a hard slap on her shoulder
“Ouch, what was that for?” She groaned glaring st Amelia
“I slapped sense into you….. this is reality okay? Why did you faint?” Amelia rolled her eyes. She suddenly stood up and also pulled Jewel
“We’ll leave now” Amelia bowed at Teddy before dragging Jewel with her
“I hope I’ll attend your concert but I can’t afford the flight ticket” Jewel shouted
“You can come with us then, we’ll be leaving a day before the concert” Ted proposed
“Thank you so much, I’ll come over” Jewel uttered

AVIL HIGH SCHOOL**
Ciara’s eyes widened as soon as Oliver came inside, she froze on her spot
“You look beautiful” He complimented her with a smile playing on his face
“Thanks” She muttered and meant to leave but he held her hand
” You’ve been avoiding me?” He said softly
“Of course not, I have to prepare for the catwalk show” She let out a fake laugh, taking her hand from his
“The carwalk is thirty minutes from now” He retorted, she bit her bottom lips thinking of what to say
“I’m feeling sweaty, I need to go outside for some air” She said
” What about the Air conditioner? You can’t lie to me Ara, something is definitely wrong. Is it about the last time? Okay…. I apologize for what I did, I shouldn’t have you know….” He paused on what he was saying
“It’s fine, that was a mistake. It shouldn’t have happened” She said, putting on a straight look.
She had gotten to the doorway when he said
“I didn’t count it as a mistake though, it was the best thing that happened to me” That alone made her halt but she didn’t turn to look at him before finally walking out
THE STARS MANSION**6PM*
Teddy rushed down the stairs just as Amelia came in. She had spent sometime with Jewel before returning
“I have to go now, make sure you don’t go out. The weather is changing, it will probably rain soon. Stay indoors okay?” He rushed
” What about you? Where are you off to?” She asked concernly
“Are you missing me already?” He teased her
She turned to look away, clearing her throat.
“I have something to settle….. Don’t miss me too much, I won’t take too long” He smiled cupping her cheek. She looked at him pouting her wet lips
“Can I kiss you?” He asked without thinking, his gaze was on her lips
“Huh?” She blinked, making her look extra cute
He leaned closer, tilting his head sideways when his phone rang out loud, making him groan. He moved away from her, taking the call
“I’m on my way there” He said to the caller
“What!!? I’ll be there soon….. In twenty minute or so” He added before hanging up
He ruffled her hair before going out. A text appeared on her phone
*CAN YOU COME OVER? I NEED TO SEE YOU* Martins sent
*I….. I CAN’T COME RIGHT NOW, IS IT SOMETHING URGENT? WHAT’S WRONG?* She texted back
*NEVERMIND* He replied

AN ALLEY**
Nicole felt someone behind her making her slow down her pace. She stylish looked backwards but saw no one, she shrugged and continue walking
The feeling grew strong making her halt and turn back only to see someone dressed in all black with a mask and gloves on. All the parts of the body was covered as she advanced closer to her. The person was holding an hammer, swinging with her right hand
The umbrella she was holding fell from her hand unconsciously and the rain poured on her directly.
“What…. What…are…. you… doing? Who… are you?” She stuttered, moving backwards
“I’m death and I’ll send you to where you belong to hell” The person replied and judging by the voice, it could be seen that the peston is a woman

A guard entered the living room
“Someone is here to see you, he says his name is Jimmy” The guard announced making Amelia sprang up
‘Is it the same Jimmy I know?’
‘Martins brother?’
She fitted her leg into her slippers and went out with the guard. She grabbed an umbrella. When they got outside, she met Jimmy outside on his knees. He had been soaked as a result of the rain
“Jimmy!” She called more like a whisper
“Can you come ase my brother?” He said, he was looking half-dead already and he had bloodshot eyes.With the way he was shivering, he had caught a flu already
‘Jimmy is allergic to rain water’ Martins voice rang out in her ears
