Amelia looked at the both of them confusedly, blinking rapidly. Just then Thelma rushed in
“Amelia!!” She shouted, moving to her. She helped her up
” Who did this to you? Hazel? Can you stop being a fool and stand up for yourself? Even if it’s just once?” She snapped, before turning to face Hazel, who had a nonchalant look on
“I’m coming for you, trust me” She said to her and took Amelia away
Martins glared at Teddy
“Stay away from her” He uttered
“Why?”
” You girlfriend caused this, stop being a snitch and go closer to her…. . She obviously wants attention” Martins replied, patting him on his shoulder before leaving
“And this is what you get for mingling with lowly brats, come on…. You are a celebrity, you should keep your lane” Hazel said, advancing closer to him
” You are not in any position to tell me these….. Why did you hurt her?” Teddy questioned
“Like seriously, isn’t the answer obvious? I h@të the fact that you are going closer to her, the fact that you sat down beside her, the fact that you chose her over me!!” Hazel replied, raising her voice a little. Her eyes had turned red
“And I’ll choose her again even for a thousand times, it’s my choice to make not yours”
“What!!?”Hazel scoffed, trying to process what she just heard
“Is this a confession now? Are you saying that you like her?” She added, running her hands on his chest, drawing invincible lines on it
“Yeah and I’ll advice you to stop all the plans you’ve been scheming to hurt her. Romeo called me and told me everything, you grew worse Hazel” Teddy said coolly, taking her hand which he dropped
“And it’s all your fault, You made me what I am, a desperate Bîtch” Hazel replied with her voice quivering as if she will break down anytime soon
“How is that my fault? What about when we were dating? I gave you all you want, you lacked nothing; love, care, attention? I gave you all that!!” Teddy snapped, turning his back on her
“I’ll do anything to get you, even if it involves hurting others…. Because you are mine” Hazel uttered, hugging him from behind.
Teddy pushed her hand off before walking out while Hazel had a triumphant look on

Teddy’s phone pinged and he took it

He sighed deeply, trying to calm his nerves
“Sir a detective is here to see you” Albert announced
“Let her in”
Nicole came in and as usual, she had that cold look on
“I didn’t expect you’ll be chanced, I believe you are suppose to be in school” Nicole said, taking her seat
“I had to leave, I had a shoot” Ted replied, palming his forehead, numerous thoughts flashed through his mind
” Don’t you think you should stop now? I saw the news, your partner was killed” He added
” That’s not enough reason for me to quit, I love interesting cases like this” Nicole smirked
“I think you should see this” He showed her the text
“This is getting more interesting, can I take your phone? I’ll track the number” She smiled, putting the phone in her bag
“Like seriously, you are their next target, they are coming for you next…. You should just stop so you won’t end up like others” Teddy replied, looking at her in bewilderment
” I love my profession okay? I’m not calling it quit, let’s get to business” Nicole said bringing out the phone
“That’s my Dad’s phone” Teddy uttered
” Exactly…. I believe this holds the answers to our questions but it’s locked. Can you try recollect the password?” Nicole looked at him keenly, as if she would bore holes in his eyes to search for the answers
“I can’t, I’ve tried my best on my own part but it keeps bringing memories I wish to forget” Ted replied, running his hands through his hair, feeling frustrated
“No pet names or something? Or a word your Dad loves saying?” Nicole inquired
“If I remember any, I’ll get back to you….. My head is aching”
“Okay, don’t forget to call me” Nicole stood up
“Be careful, don’t stay out too late” Ted uttered with a faint smile

“What are you thinking? You’ve been out of this world, is anything bothering you?” Amelia said to Thelma, who bit her bottom lips
” I was thinking of the best punishment for Hazel…. I feel like smashing her head to the wall” She replied and Amelia’s eyes grew wide, her mouth also opened
“That’s too extreme, why would you even think of something like that? Just let it rest, I’m fine” Amelia smiled
“Stop smiling, I’m angry at you. When will you stand up for yourself? You are always fine no matter what happens, you should stop that” Thelma snapped
” Anyways, let’s go pay for the summer camping” She added, standing up
” I can’t afford such, I’ve told you earlier….. I’ll just stay at home instead”
” I’m paying for you, just stand up and let’s go” Thelma grabbed her hand
” What!!? How did you get the money?” Amelia exclaimed
“Come on, I’m Thelma Seven” She flipped her hair backwards, proudly
“Yeah yeah, the only daughter of a popular lawmaker, Marley Seven” Amelia completed, mimicking Thelma and they both laughed out
“But…. I can’t accept it, I don’t have any source to pay you back” She added
“And did I ask for refund? I’m doing it for you, this is the least I can do, as a friend” Thelma pouted

They got to the office
“You are Amelia Lewis right? You’ve paid already”
They both turned to look at each other in surprise
” There must be a mistake somewhere, I haven’t paid any dime? You should check again” Amelia said, the woman looked at her with a smile on her face
“Well, someone paid for you” She shrugged, turning back to what she was doing
Thelma paid hers and they both went outside
“Who do you think paid for you?”
“I don’t know, it’s probably Martins” Amelia replied

” Did you pay for me?” Amelia inquired, as soon as she got to Martins seat
“Pay for what?” He furrowed his brows in confusion
” The summer camping”
“I didn’t….. I’m not even going, I’ll rather stay at home. What about you? Are you going?” He asked
“I guess I have to, Someone paid for me” She smiled
“By the way, thanks for earlier” She added
“Stay away from Teddy to prevent something like that from happening next time” He adviced
“Yes boss” She remarked playfully

“Woah!!” Jewel screamed, as soon as she entered the living room
” Will you just stop screaming?” Amelia scoffed but Jewel was already checking everything around. She literally touched everything she sees
“You promised you would behave, don’t touch anything please” She added in a pleading tone
“There’s no one around right? This is heaven, I feel like I can die now” Jewel said dramatically
” You can’t die here, go….
Amelia didn’t even get to complete what she was saying when Jewel took the stairs. With the way she ran, you would think she’d lived here before and she knows her way around
“Jewel” Amelia groaned, taking the stairs
When she got there, Jewel had entered Ryan’s room. She laid on the bed, hugging the duvet to herself while sniffing the scent in
You shouldn’t do this, what if they returns?” Amelia said but it all fell on deaf ears
” My oppa scents like mint strawberry” Jewel commented, wiping the tears that were falling from he eyes
” Mint strawberry? What the hell is that? Hold on, Are you crying? Are those tears?”
“No….. They are blood, My tears are blood now” Jewel retorted, standing up from the bed
She rushed out of the room and entered the next room which was Arnold’s. She stood still admiring his picture on the wall
“They are all cute…. Amelia how did you manage to cope living with handsome guys?” She asked in a low tone, the excitement in her voice was no longer there
“Are you okay? your mood suddenly changed” Amelia remarked
“I’m just very happy, this is like a dream come true for me” Jewel sniffed in repeatedly
As soon as they came out of Arnold’s room, Teddy’s door opened and he came out. Jewel blinked rapidly trying to hide behind Teddy but he saw her already
“My girlfriend!” He called out and at that instance, Jewel wished for the ground to open and swallow her
