“But you have to guarantee Anna’s protection..” Elmo said and Elena rolled her eyes inwardly.

Catherine sat down reading the book of spells. She doesn’t know why but she feels something bad is going to happen. But then she has not had any vision about it.
“Mum..” Elmo’s voice called from behind and she turned to him.
“Son..” She smiled and Elmo returned it.
“Are you okay?” She asked and he smiled.
“I’m fine now. I already realised that I should give up. Anna has found her mate, the love of her life..” He said and Catherine breathed out in relief.
“Thank goodness. You came to your right senses..” She said and stood up.
“You will find your mate soon..” She added and he smiled and hugged her. The smile on his face faded and replaced with a smirk.

“Axel, so you don’t have to mark me..” She said and Axel caressed her hair.
“You are not ordinary. Marking you will be useless. Our relationship must be consummated to mark you as mine forever..” He said and Anna’s cheeks turned red. She immediately hit him on the chest.
“Wait, what did I do?” He asked laughing and she stood up and immediately ran out.
The next day.
“Anna, I will be back soon. I have to oversee somethings…” Axel said as Anna wore him the suit. She smiled and looked up at him.
“I will be fine. I’m actually going out with Elmo..” She smiled and the look on Axel’s face changed.
“Do you trust that guy?” He asked and Anna smiled. She stood on her toes and gave him a quick peck on his lips.
“Trust me. Elmo is a good guy. He supported me when I had no one. He has been my best friend and brother and that’s I trust him..” She said and he scoffed.
“Even if you does something wrong..” He said.
“Why are you asking that? But well, I will forgive him. No one is above mistakes..” She said and Axel scoffed again.
“You are making me jealous..” He said and she laughed and hung her hands on his shoulder.
“Nah, you can’t be jealous. I love you very much with my life. And Elmo, I just told you he’s like my brother. Hmmn..” She winked and he grabbed her waist.
“I want a kiss..” He said and kissed her again.

Few hours later.
Elmo and Anna were strolling.
“You have started to regain your powers..” He said and she nodded.
Elmo smiled slightly and caressed her hair.
“See I told you. It will eventually come..” He said and she hugged him.
“Thanks for being there for me..” She broke the hug and he took her hand.
“Anna, just know that wh@tëver I do. I do it for your sake and because I love you..” He said and upon saying that, Anna could feel her legs again. The cold breeze kept on hitting her skin and just then it stopped. She looked around and saw they were in a deserted place. Her heart skipped immediately. Fear gripped her.
“What’s going on here Elmo?” She asked.
“I’m sorry I have to do this Anna. That demon king is not good for you. I can’t bare to see him with you..” He said and her eyes widened. Her heart shred into pieces and tears fell from them. She couldn’t believe Elmo just betrayed her.
“We meet again, Axel’s mate..” A deep voice was heard and Anna started trembling in fear. She turned back to see Constantine with Elena.
‘No, no..” Anna said in fear.
Elena immediately teleported herself in front of her and then slapped her hard on her cheeks.
“That’s what you get for slapping me yesterday..” She said and Elmo’s eyes widened.
“I told you not hurt her. I won’t take this!’ He yelled and Elena streched her hands towards him and he was thrown away. Anna’s eyes widened immediately. Her fists clenched tightly.
‘Axel! Axel..” She called inwardly. Constantine immediately rushed to Elena.
“You shouldn’t have hit her. Axel’s going to feel the pain too!” He yelled at her.
“I didn’t know. Why didn’t you stop me earlier!” She yelled back at him.
“I just remembered now..” He said.
Anna closed her eyes, she was trying to resurrect her powers but she couldn’t. Not when she needed her powers so badly. Elena grabbed her hair and then disappeared with her. Constantine sighed. He walked up to the unconscious Elmo and then disappeared with him also.
