“Uurgh! Seriously, Can you guys stop being too lovey dovey? It’s sick and cheesy as Füçk” Elle groaned.
Martin smiled and turned to Elena. “Let’s just eat” He told her. Elena nodded as they all began eating.
“I’m sorry but who’s older?”elena asked staring at Elle and Josh.
“Why asking?” Elle asked
“In case we met by fate and not coincidence?” Elena replied
“How?” Elle questioned back.
“I wanted to know if you are like us”Elena smiled pointing at Martin.
“What’s in the hell is she saying?” Elle murmured.
“I’m 34. He’s 28” Elena smiled. She tried to make it easier to understand.
“Wh… What? Who’s 28. You? Or him??” Elle was shocked.
“He’s 28” Elena calmly said as she brushed her lashes lightly.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. You look very young. How come you are much older than him? 6 years ain’t no joke!” Elle exclaimed.
“I know right. There were lots of trials on our way but we managed to push through” Martin commented
“Wow. This is so cool. I’ve only seen this in movies but I’m so super surprised seeing this in reality!” Josh smiled
“But Ele… Unnie, Why did you accept him. He’s younger than you” Elle asked
“It’s Love. It’s nothing but Love” Elena answered and chuckled softly.
“It’s Love? Love my foot! You could have told him he shouldn’t love you!”
“I did but trust me, He was persistent”
“What? Seriously? You didn’t give in at first?” Elle widened her eyes.
“Yeah. To me our age was a stumbling block. But finally, I understood Age was just a number that why at times, you can look younger than your age and older sometimes” Elena said
“I’m so amazed right now. Unnie, I think you are really fun. I’m getting to like you guys now” Elle chuckled
“Tell me. How did you guys meet for the first time?” She added. Both parties looked at each other and laughed.
“It was really funny. But let’s save that… It’s a long story” Elena replied
“Oh. I see, So.. What were you guys to each other before he started having feelings for you?” Elle asked pushing in a spoonful of food into her mouth.Martin smiled and drank quarter of the wine in the glass cup.
“It was a teacher and a student relationship–
Martin was however interrupted by Elle and Josh.
They threw up the food and drink from the mouth to Martin’s face. They couldn’t hold themselves anymore. They were shocked by his reply. To the extent that Elle had to throw out the little chewy food from her mouth which landed on Martin face.
On the other hand, Josh was drinking water when he heard the reply. He quickly spat out the water due to shock which as well, landed on Martin face.
Martin shut his eyes tightly as his face squeezed due to being irritated by the event that had just occurred.
“Oh my. Babe? Are you alright?” Elena asked drying up his face with a napkin. Martin opened his eyes and chuckled.
“It’s fine. Anyone would have been surprised as well. Teacher and Student Relationship isn’t a joke” He replied
“But still, I’m sorry for what we did. It’s our mistake” Elle apologized.
“It’s fine” Martin accepted.
“So? Can I ask one more question?” Elle asked now putting in a spoonful of food as usual.
“Go on”Martin replied
“How old were you when you first started your relationship?” She asked as Josh took his cup trying to drink more water.
“She was 26. I was 19–
Prwwwwh! He was interrupted by the food particles landing on his face right from Elle’s mouth and as well as Josh’s rushing water which gushed from his mouth again!. Martin forced a chuckle as Elena smiled. She cleaned his face once more.
“d@mn it. I’m so sorry” Elle apologized again.
“Same here. It was a big mistake, I can’t believe we repeated this again” Josh added.
“Oh my Goodness. I might think you guys are doing this intentionally” Martin laughed
“No.. We aren’t!” They exclaimed simultaneously waving their both arms as a “No!” sign.
“Don’t mind him. He was just pulling your legs” Elena joined Martin in laughing.
“Oh.. Uhmm, What are the few trials you guys faced if I may ask?” Josh asked.
“I hope I won’t get poured on?” Elena giggled. Elle and Josh laughed and shaked their heads.
“We faced lots of difficult trails. But there was a certain time I thought all hopes were lost” Elena started as the others listened with rapt attention.
Martin had to leave overseas to get things right for his future. He came 7 years later–
“That’s a lots of years” Elle interrupted sighing.
“Yeah. However, It wasn’t wasted. I waited for him like seriously. You know what, I’m sorry but I’ve to stop here”
“No. Why? Why? Why?” Elle asked with a childish voice. She was getting anxious already.
“It’s gonna be a spoiler” Martin winked.
“Wh@tëver. Anyways, I’m glad you guys are together. You really fit as well!” Elle complimented
“Awwn. Thanks, Likewise the both of you” Elena smiled
“No. We aren’ dating and we aren’t gonna date too!” Elle answered firmly.
“He’s younger? Is that your reason?” Elena furrowed her eyebrows.
“Somehow, It’s one of my reasons. I don’t also want to date my friend’s brother..I don’t really like it” Elle said.
“Oh. He’s your friend’s brother. It’s fine as long he or she doesn’t disapprove it. It’s just Love. You can’t change it dear”Elena said
“By the way, Do you really like her?” Martin asked Josh.
“Well.. Yeah, I like her a lot” He replied
“Well.. Case closed. Everything is gonna be alright like everything was for I and Elena” Martin said.
“Okay now. Guys, Let’s eat and talk as much as we want after we want” Elena said. They all obeyed and started digging into their various meal.
“By the way, The last question. How old are you guys?” Elena asked with her mouthfull
“I’m 21. He’s 19” Elle replied
“It’s worth it” Martin smiled
“You think?” Josh asked as Martin nodded. They all laughed except Elle who frowned and they finally got back to their meal.
