THE NEXT DAY***
Melanie came out of her room, dressed in a not so short blue gown, revealing all her sëxy curves.
She closed the door gently and right at that moment, Axel came out of his room too.
Their eyes locked and Axel smiled without taking his eyes away from her. His eyes raked her dressing and he whistled loudly.
“You look hot, Mel. Füçking hot,” he grinned.
Melanie adjusted the gown so it could reach her knees before flashing a smile at him.
“It’s our first day as friends, right?” He suddenly asked.
“Yea…”
“Good,” he walked over to her and placed his arm around her shoulder, shocking Melanie.
“Why? We’re friends, right?” Axel asked.
“Huh, yeah. But…” Melanie grinned awkwardly.
“Not to worry, Mel. I won’t harm you, trust me” he muttered.
Melanie exhaled before nodding her head. They both walked out of the house with Axel’s arm around her neck.
“You don’t have to, I’ll take the bus,” Melanie refused Axel’s offer of giving her a ride to school.
“And you think I’m gonna accept that?” Axel raised a brow.
“You’re the first female friend I’ve ever gonna have, Mel. And I want to treat you right” he said.
Melanie cackled at his use of words. He seems to be using the word “friends” often and she just realized why. Because she was his first female friend.
“Fine,” she smiled and got inside the car.
Axel entered too and the car drove out of sight.

MONASH UNIVERSITY***
Immediately the car entered the school, a loud scream was suddenly heard mostly from the girls.
“It’s his car!”
“Gosh, I’m so anxious to know how he looks this early morning”
The car door opened and Axel came out of it, brushing his curly hair to the back.
“Wow! My goodness!”
“Jeez, is he a human?!!”
The screams died down when Melanie came out of his car too.
“Huh? Who’s she??”
“Did she just came out of his car??”
“Is she his girlfriend?”
“Gawd, I’m so jealous. They look so perfect together”
Melanie shifted uncomfortably where she was. The stares were becoming too much and worst still, Axel walked to her.
He placed his arm on her back and she stared at him with her eyes wide in shock.
What was he doing?
“Why? We’re friends, remember?” He winked.
“I can’t take it anymore! I just got my heart broken!”
Axel smiled Charmingly and led Melanie to the school, who seemed to be uncomfortable throughout.
Immediately they were out of sight, Melanie shifted out of his hold and he glanced at her.
“You really shouldn’t have done that, they are going to misunderstand us now,” she muttered.
“Like how?”
“They might think we’re dating, you really shou…”
“And you don’t like that? You don’t like the sound of you being my girlfriend?”
“It’s not that… I..”
“It’s fine. You should go to your class, I’ll stop here” He interrupted and then walked away.
“Is he mad?” She bit her lips.
“I didn’t say anything wrong, did I?” She pondered.
“Hey,” there was a sudden tap on her shoulder.
She turned and creased her brow when she found two unfamiliar girls.
“Who are you?” She asked.
“I really don’t have to say much, but stay away from Axel or I will make your life a living hell in this school” Audrey warned.
“You heard that? If you love yourself, stay away from him” Freya chirped in.
“And what if she don’t?” They heard a voice.
They turned their heads to find Lauren, her arms were across her chest.
Lauren walked to them and held Melanie’s hand protectively.
“Who the hell is this bìtch!” Audrey fumed.
A loud sound was what followed.
Audrey’s hand flew to her cheek, staring at Lauren who just slapped her in shock.
“The next time you call me a bìtch, your tooth will be next,” Lauren warned.
She dragged Melanie out of the place immediately.
“How dare that girl?” Freya half yelled.
Audrey eyed her before walking away, still feeling the sting on her cheek.
“Audrey, are you okay?” Freya ran after her, trying her best not to laugh.

“So, you were going to allow them to bully you??” Lauren questioned, pulling Melanie to a corner.
“I didn’t even know them,” Melanie said.
“So what? You would allow them to threaten you because of that?”
“You’re too soft, Lanie. You need to change, if you’re this way, people will take you for granted” Lauren said.
“You need to change, huh? Don’t worry, I’m here for you,” she smiled.
Melanie breathed out before nodding her head.
“Right. What’s between you and Axel? I saw the scenario outside” Lauren smiled teasingly.
“We’re friends now,” Melanie muttered.
“Friends? Like friends??” Lauren asked wide-eyed.
“Yes. He seems to be cool, I really misjudged him” Melanie muttered.
“See? I told you,” Lauren grinned.
“Have you told Julie yet?” She asked.
“Not yet. I haven’t talked to her” Melanie replied.
“Good. Don’t tell her, for now”
“Why?”
“Nothing. Just don’t tell her, okay?”
“Hmm, fine. Let’s go, our class starts anytime from now,” Melanie held her hand and they both head towards the hall.

“Füçk! I’m hunrgy” Julie stretched her body after their first class ended.
“Then should we get junks?” Lauren quickly asked.
“Should we?” Julie smiled.
“I’ll get it” Melanie volunteered and she stood up.
“You will? Do you know why I love you?” Lauren blinked her eyes cutely.
“And I h@të you,” Melanie stuck her tongue.
Julie chuckled and Melanie left the class.

“Isn’t that James?”
“He’s back?”
“I’m sure he already learnt his lesson the hard way,”
Melanie kept hearing from the students as she was walking.
“James is back?” A sudden fear overwhelmed her.
“For me?” She got startled when he appeared before her.
“James,” she stuttered, moving backward in fear.
James tried to move closer to her and she let out a scream.
“Don’t come closer, or I’m gonna call the cops on you,” she threatened.
“Look here, I’m not here to harm you. I just want to apologize, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have done that to my junior…” James said.
Melanie stared at him, still not believing him.
“I’m sorry, I’m truly sorry. Please forgive me” James begged.
To her surprise, he went on his knees and bowed his head.
“I’m so sorry, I’ll keep saying that till you forgive me,” he said.
“What’s going on?”
“James on his knees??”
The students passing by decided to stop and watch the scene, some started making videos.
Noticing the stares on her, Melanie had no choice but to forgive him.
“It’s fine. You should get up,” she said.
“Am I forgiven?” James asked.
“Yes, please get up”
James got to his feet and dusted his clothes.
“But promise me you won’t try that again. Not to me, but other girls”
“I wouldn’t want to die anyway,” James mumbled.
“Huh?”
“Nothing. I promise with my heart” he quickly said.
Melanie stared at him before walking away, making sure she didn’t get close to him at all.
James stared at the students who were making videos and threw a harsh glare at them.
“Drop that phone or I smash it on the floor” he warned.
They stopped the video at once and scurried away.
“Aish, this is so frustrating,” James groaned. He turned and took a path, walking straight.
He got to his destination where Axel was, pressing his phone. He was resting on the wall.
“I’ve done it. I apologized to her already, I’m sorry, okay?” James said.
Axel stopped pressing his phone and threw a disgusting stare at him.
“The next time you try that again, you won’t lose your teeth this time, but your balls” Axel warned.
James eyes widened and he quickly held his d_1ck.
Axel smirked before walking away.
